I saw stopthefake ICO and I fell in love with the name. I think authenticating product and service through blockchain to detect fake is a brilliant idea.
That's a nice try but it of course starts with something different first.
Gathering information and making observations, that's something you can let a computer do indeed, but computers can only apply filters and not imagine themselves what a scam is in the first place.
The detection of a scam (a lie) requires the perspective to see through it. Computers don't have the option to hold even one perspective, let alone several. Blockchain technology doesn't change that.
Each human knows tens, hundreds, sometimes even thousands of perspectives, besides that of his own. Just because of that any technology that tries to validate something man-made can be misled, which is not accidentally also the prime expertise of a scammer.
