Both are not the best option for investment. Tron has a lot of work to do to improve it's price and Ripple problem is that the bigger part of tokens are in the hands of creators, and that's why it's risky to invest in it at all.
I think both of these cryptocurrencies can be considered. They have the same potential. But a little different in the functional base. Read, learn. And invest in the one that you think will bring success.

I will keep away from ripple. Anything is better than ripple, even Tron. XRP has no intrinsic value of its own, it has large number of coins held by a single organisation. They can dump several billion coins any time, as happened before.
Well, I can't really say which is better though but ripple has more potential than tron now in the market and has been long in market which has gain trust from people than tron , but with no time tron also will with it kind of product.
One of the biggest disadvantage of Ripple is centralization, which company can manipulate price for their own profit.

My opinion goes to ripple over Tron but both coins are good and in the top 20 list of this market. Tron is more volatile than ripple and more risk involve to buy it but more changes of profit also due to its volatility. If you want to add both then you can do it 70-30 in favor of XRP/Tron.

Ripple is a good coin, but unfortunately without any features of a crypto currency. Tron is also great, at least, it stands for the ideals of crypto currencies. Ripple is centralised banks try to catch the train of crypto currencies. Invest in Tron. 
What we need to look at now is the development and coin base of the coin . The development of swell has been monstrously amazing from few days now as is the development of tron . Tron has a tendency to be more gainful in future terms as it has a gigantic potential to develop near to its present esteem . There is a space for development sought after and esteem . Along these lines , putting resources into Tron right currently may be productive for future . So was the situation with Ripple few days back .

Ripple has a better system compared with TRON because it was focusing to create such a future payment system that can be adopted by the bankers. In fact that ripple has a lot of cooperation with bankers while at the same time that tron doesn't have anything to be showed. RIpple is much better compared with tron that copying other platform's whitepaper. lol
I think tron is better than ripple. I love justin sun and justins vision. He is really good energetic and intelligent guy. In my opinion tron will be top 3 in market cap in next bull market. and tron have room to growth. so i can choose tron easily.
