My logic said DOGE isn't a good coin because i can't see any fundamentals.
There just only 2 things can make this coin go up, 1 = Elon musk and 2 = Pure hype "Started by elon musk and i need to admit it doge community is verry solid and so BIG".
So, i prefer to choose bitcoin instead of DOGE.

If you don't mind pump and dump then I will say you are good to go but seriously with the price mark of doge right now and it's total supply I bet you can do your math and see..Still I think btc won't give you doge gains
Bitcoin is the best of dogecoin bitcoin is king in the world of crypto and tops all currencies. Depending on the price of bitcoin the price of other altcoin increases it depends on the trader to choose which currency to invest but even though the price of dogecoin has already increased bitcoin remains on top. Even if the price of bitcoin goes down the price of altcoin will start going down.
Logically, of course we would think BTC is clearly superior to DOGE, as BTC is the mother of all altcoins. But looking at current market conditions, I personally prefer DOGE, because at least DOGE hasn't decreased very much, and it's still going sideways.
Logically, I will choose Bitcoin (BTC) for sure.
Dogecoin won't reach top 3 at this state, BTC will become bigger in the near future, for this time it's just all short correction.

Please note, do not take my reply as a financial advice, it is simply my opinion. I am not so much a big fan of doge coin, so of it is doge coin against bitcoin, I will choose to invest more in bitcoin anytime any day because compared to doge coin, it is a better store of value.
What are we supposed to use bitcoin for, it can't be fully used as a mode of payment plus it is completely different from a simple fiat money so I don't think that you are right that crypto become a collectible because it is an asset. Also, I would say that bitcoin is much better than DOGE coin because it yields more profit over time than DOGE.

Dogecoin will never reach the trust that bitcoin has to many people, Dogecoin is just only a hyped coin so it is no good for investing in it for the long term, you will just lose your money on that coin, even though the bitcoin's value is now decreasing because of what Elon Musk is doing, it can still recover within this month or next month. There would be no one here who would choose dogecoin over bitcoin as you are asking here in a bitcoin forum.

If we want profit assurance, don't get fall to Doge but rather choose the proven and tested project Bitcoin. the OP has all the freedom to list all the pros and cons of doge over bitcoin. but maybe to clear his mind, he can also make an article towards btc - why bitcoin is better than doge? and for sure, he will come up with much more valid reasons.

What's the sense about it saying that it's becoming a collectible item?There's no difference from what you're going to do upon purchase of Dogecoin. If your preference is to buy Dogecoin, you do it and no one will stop you and the same to us who prefer to hold bitcoin too and at the same time got some altcoins on hold too.
I'm still uncomfortable with BTC path/future. I mean, its main purpose is to serve as a currency, however, it is now being used as store of value.
As we all know, it's much cheaper to buy something with credit card (including currency conversion) than to buy with BTC and pay ridiculous high transaction fees. If this continues, how will BTC maintain its value if it lost its main purpose (serving as currency?) Or will it just become a collector's coin (something to brag about to the rich in the future having a BTC in your wallet?)
What if an altcoin pop-up with actual developers that can solve all of BTC issues? Then what will happen to BTC? This is my worry.
