Never forget that there is always a new drop after you drop but agree with you is to buy altcoins or bitcoins with a drop, just wait a few days or weeks to sell at a higher price. I have the same way as you in trading and always become an investor after the bid price drops and need to wait patiently for the price to come back higher. To trade profitably, I think only those who are patient enough and wait to get high profits. If you store it for a long time, it will definitely be profitable in the future.

im not trading consistently but i think it will also depend on the coin like if it was a meme coin and it was their season then you must ride the hype because theres a big chance that they will increase and theres a chance that they will not recover anymore if you wait for them to go down because thier season has ended but for the coins that are not seasonal like for example bitcoin , its safe for them to wait for the dip before buying and hodling .
its also a matter of choice , some just go with the flow but some follows the golden rule buy low sell high  .
At this time wherein crypto users and investor where too active and many we must find ourselve updated in whats happening with our coins, unlike before that we can hold them long till they pump, now its quite hard to do as the market keeps growing , new coins keep coming and old coin loses their value so trading as much as possible and studying the market will be the best option rather than holding too much. Taking profit and having stop loss is a must.

To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.
I don't think you should be concerned about which is more effective but choose the one that works best for you instead, I find buy low and selling high a better effective way of making money in this bull season and my favourite coin is BNB NEO and other NFT projects, you got to take a step then you will know Which one works best for you.

I can't deny that in these choices We can all get profit whether riding with the hype or price will dip.
And of course, this will depend on your type or like between the two anyway. So, in my experienced, I always go
if the price will dip, its very seldom to me to ride with the hype scenario.

I am not the one making profit with my crypto trading but going with the hype is much more rewarding in my experience. Buy on a rising market and sell and watch on a falling one.
You buy and sale and keep buying and selling on a bull market while you stop loss and get out in a bear one. The only thing wrong with buying on dip is you never know how much time it would require it to go high or how low it's going to go.

And you also don't know if the timing is already on the dip or it will go fall for more.

Buy and sell is a good way of trading if you know the right time and right asset to invest your money.
In your experienced, buying when the project still on hype and sell it before the market falls,
just like how to buy low and sell high.

Buy if you have a good chance while the market is down, even it takes some time but the potential is very high..

therefore we must know the support area as a foothold when the market is experiencing a decline. from the support area we can make a purchase, and when the price declines again and penetrates the support limit, then don't hesitate to make a cut loss, and we wait for the next support area to buy. different from investment, where we divide the capital to make purchases at several supports that we specify

I think both of them can work well and make a profit but by looking at the situation and market conditions. When the market is bullish, you should not be careless and expect big profits. Easy or difficult a strategy is up to you to decide for yourself because it all depends on your comfort when trading. In addition, all strategies actually also depend on how you control your emotions, it's useless if you already have a strategy but can't hold your emotions well.

Waiting until the price reaches the dip again, the logic behind the Market is buy low and sell high. Following hype might be deceptive and you might end up buying due to an over hyped token or coin and end up running on a straight loss except for some special coins or token but for new ones with good projects just buy low and sell high

None of them is easier. All of them come with risk. If one was easier than the other, everyone would be doing the "easy" one. You can ride the hype and make some quick profit. But there is also a high chance the hype may die sooner than anticipated or you have joined during the wrong time. You end up losing everything. And another thing, its easy to say "buy the dip, sell when its high". You won't know if have bought during the right dip. You never know if the price will go back up from the dip. The best way (less riskier way) to do is to buy good coins and hold them till you reach your profit goals.

As for me, riding the hype have the most risk of them two. Its better to buy the dip compare to riding the hype due to corrections that might happen. Aside from that, big opportunity comes to those who bought the lows rather than those who bought at the hype. Projects that have real life utility are the best ones to be bought in terms of red market. They eventually and proven to rise even without the hype unlike those meme coins out there. Projects like DeFi also has a place and those projects like GOMT who's trying to change how consumers of meat experiences.

My experience is that buying digital assets when the price is cheap is highly recommended. Generally, you can take advantage of stagnant and bullish market conditions. Where, the moment of take profit action makes asset prices decline and investors can enter the market.
The strategy of buying when the asset price is cheaper involves chart analysis, short-term and long-term average price movements. As well as historical support trends, and gradual buying.

If it's a project with usecase/utility, just take your entry at once. Even if it dips further after you've bought in, it will definitely rise back. In fact, it's best to only invest in tokens/coins with real life utility and not those whose teams build castles in the air. Another thing a lot of us miss is waiting for a dip. No only truly knows where an actual dip is. Trading is a speculative business. We can only use indicators to mitigate losses by trying to pick a more convenient entry than we would see without the indis. Of course, we know that certain times price breaks these indicators and form a different pattern from what is envisaged. Whatever you do, stay only with credible projects and you won't regret at whatever price you get in.

Both can make a profit, if you are a risk-taker, you can be going to with the hype. The hype really brings huge profits but it comes with risks if we choose the wrong project scam. If we wait until the prices drop and sell when they go up then we need to be patient and control our emotions, have a specific DCA plan for when a drop occurs and wait patiently for it to rise.

Both for me is effective, NFTs is the best example if hypes. If we go with the flow and ride the hype you will gain more as the NFts it self is increasing its price higher and higher as the presence of the hype is there. In the otherhand, lets go to dip price buying. It is also a great strategy to make profit, its because when you bought the coin in dip you can buy coin in low price and when its pumped it was celabration as it double the price when bullish come and you bought that in lower price.

The question makes sense to answer especially during a bull market, we are supposed to wait for the ATH price for liquidating at least half of assets. Some guys still wait for the lower prices to enter the market because they missed the early train. I prefer to jump the bandwagon rather than waiting for further price drops to re-enter.
The choices are multiple and it changes from one to other for sure but there is no particular strategy we can say that it will be profitable for us. But more safer strategy is to hold until you make profit and it is possible only when you are trading with the money which is affordable for us to lose.

I don't care if we are in a bull or bear market. I am just acquiring more of my favorite coins for my portfolio. Currently, my focus is on XSN the native coin of Stakenet as it's still undervalued but holds so much growth potential. And I have to be prepared for the second altcoin phase, which is imminent.

Well simple theory tells you to buy low and sell high right.  So if something has gone 10x in the year and you want to buy cause everyone else is you are probably on the losing side.  As buffets said: be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy.  He isn't a dumb man.

Well, interesting.
- Making a profit can be done both when the price is bullish or even bearish, depending on our strategy and daily trading.
- Riding hype, IMO it is very risky, I personally am not kind of the high-risk taker by holding the hype coins. And so far, I prefer to trading top coins or coins that have high volume and market cap, not only about the hype.
- Waiting for the dip, well, this is not wise enough, we don't know when it will be a dip, the real dip. And when we have thought that we bought the coins in dip, but in fact, the price continues dropping, so which dip it will be?
