More adoption is best I think. It will help in the long run of the crypto. Even we need some investments to see the price is going up, mass adoption will make the crypto more stable.

Mass adoption of crypto is slow process for next several years but ETF and Bakkt can affect for capitalization much faster because price will pump up in few weeks. After price pump new people will come again to get fast profits and new bull run will begin. I'w waitng new bull run in the end of 2019.

For me I believe ETF will surely bring mass adoption to the crypto space, I believe once ETF is approved, it will create create FOMO in the space, which will make more people to join the space and invest in the crypto currency
I agree with you, we need more investment(ETF) when more people start to invest into cryptos then FOMO will be created and more people will start investing and when more people are investing, it will bring the massive adoption for the crypto space, because a lot more people will get to know about cryptos and seek ways to join the space.

So you think that ETF will bring more adoption?

That makes sense but IMO, even without these ETF's the crypto market is going to be there where everyone will feel FOMO and make people to invest in crypto's.

They will never forget the all time high that existed last year.

I consider that the hype around ETF was sensible. The rejection ETF causes many investors no to trust in crypto assets and moreover some institutional investors and funds are not able to invest in crypto assets without ETF and has invoked a new wave of negative cash flow. I think we should understand if SEC has rejected ETF it menas that SEC does not trust crypto market and crypto market does not suit for all prerequisites to launch ETF on bitcoin. I think we should be more careful to invest in various crypto assets especially in the current moment because I suppose that the downtrend on crypto market is still continuing.
I'm not sure about that consider we have reached the bottom. As far as know that these investors must try to move on from ETF to the adoption. Adoption is really important to the crypto. If ETF gets rejected and there was another way such as try to use the US based exchange site as the gateway to the new adopters from US. this should become the main thing.

More adoption worldwide. ETF from one particular country has not that bigger effect than mass adoption. This ETF drama is far stretched in its original form. It shouldn't even had to be a factor in BTC prices, but some people used it to manipulate and pull the prices the down.

ETF and more adoption are mutually exclusive in this instance. For more investments to enter the space, the ETF has to be approved. This will result in more adoption as more people will be interested in the space both for the profits and the tech

Both are important but the money needs to come first, to me this is simple if you see a prediction that the next day is going to rain you take with you an umbrella to work, this is the same, we know that bitcoin will become huge so at first investors will put their money here before that happens, and then years or even decades later the adoption will come, something similar happened with the internet and almost every industry in the past.
both need money and i think we already have enough money, beside it bitcoin and cryptocurrency itself is money, lol. and you know what will makes cryptocurrency huge thing is its adoption, lol.
adoption can't just happen if people don't know about it, and we don't have any marketing department to teach people how to use bitcoin coz cryptocurrency is decentralized and not a company. it is all depends on its community

what had happened to some dot-com companies with their shares value was bigger than company value? they fell at dot-com crash. and now we face same situation, market crash, ICO hard to grow, new coins price free falling to the ground.
lets take eBay as example, it survived and grow after dot-com crash because it continue to expand the company, reaching new users, and then it's company become bigger and shares price rise again. now what would happen if more ebay shares investor come, instead more ebay user? that will only become another bubble

Isn't it "more adaption corresponds to more investments" but not, "more investment corresponds to more adaption"?
I believe that more adaption is more important because investment will surely follow.

completely true about adoption,
investment will follow after it if people uses it or sees it as something 'valuable or useable' and because of that too,its price will be more stable, unlike total investment.
with it(total investment) the price will get manipulated so hard just like now and it might be dead if people does not see it as something 'valuable or useable'.
but in general, both of it can be considered as one.

When i think about ETF, i think more investment will come. It is good for bitcoin and also alts. But how if it will become like late 2017? when majority crypto users are traders and investors who expect moon and lambo. And cryptocurrency become speculative things rather than digital currency.

Now we see the result. Crypto market hard to recover because no one want to buy, we only hold and waiting whales or random person to start a bull run or "institutional money" to come in.
Same person who buy and sell.

I think we might see different result if cryptocurrency have wide adoption/real usage as digital currency, because that will bring continuous real demand. and market recovery wouldn't be too hard

Yes, I agree with you! Cryptocurrency is a speculative thing rather than a digital currency and it's really! If the crypto currency will be widely used in many spheres of life then the crypto market will surely grow successfully.

in my opinion those two spheres are equally inmportant in the modern market and we need to pay attention at both of them

Of course mass adoption is more important than ETF. I think ETF case just only created the manipulation of the market.
If adoption of cryptocurrency occurred now, there will be many peoples using crypto and the demands will rise. Resulting the price will rise too.

In the first place, we must bear in mind that there are several ETF proposals and each one has its own characteristics. I think only one of these is based on actual bitcoins. Secondly, any value that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can achieve thanks to ETFs is nothing compared to the value they would reach thanks to a massive and widespread adoption. Third, adoption will not only give more value to cryptocurrencies, but that value will be real and not the result of speculation. And finally, you must never forget that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were created for the people, not for Wall Street speculators to save the day.

I think the goal if cryptocurrency is the mass adoption into every market in the world, however to do that investments into different sectors must be made and I think the ETF will give new investors to the market, but since right now there are news that the ETF was debunked by SEC we might see a longer bar market.

I think ETF will be very good for bitcoin and crypto space in general, currently what we have now are speculators who when their is FOMO and dump when their is a little FUD, the crypto space need institutional investors through ETF, they will make the crypto market to be more stable because these people buys and hold for a long time
