Because now all altcoin on the deep, you can pick some of them and hold it untill 6 month to 1 years and for target profit about 7 to 10 times. And to maximum profit because we dont know how high the price will go, we should be use stop loss and trailling stop. But currently more than 50% BTC dominance in the market so demand of altcoin still low.

I support the buying and holding only so it is the only one wa for me to work here, investing has more risks and it doesn't make me sure in my benefit.

I believe the best way before investing in altcoins is that investor need to research and familiarize the altcoins which they consider investing. Once they had chosen an altcoin, then I believe it would be appropriate to do long term investment and just wait for it until it will increase further. Just a suggestion, better choose altcoins that belong to the top 20 coins at least the risk is not that high.
