Okay, I actually share this before, in another thread but I'm gonna share it again now. Cheesy I become interested in cryptocurrency because I like how to earn money online and when did happen, it because my friend the year was 2014 then I found my friend do online gambling but he have some sort of cheat sheet so he can win a lot from it and I ask her how to withdraw the money and he said using Bitcoin, and that time I first the word "Bitcoin" and I ask again how much you deposited and he said a couple of bucks and this is not my money I got this from the faucet and then I do gambling.

and from there he gave me a site that gives very basic Information about bitcoin and faucets, with how to do gambling too hahaha.  Grin My curiosity drove me crazy that tell me I should do a faucet every day. Got Hacked and got scammed several times but this is me now.

although i tried to share with my friend but some of it will skeptic about cryptocurrency and the other really dont care

I recently read a thread where investing in bitcoin is compared to a young tree that takes a few years to start fruiting, this is a very good comparison, I will project it on my investments and hope that everything works out.

Exactly. I think That's a good point, Just like a sapling needs sunlight and water to grow and investing in Bitcoin requires knowledge and patience. Yes, investing in Bitcoin does have risks, just like any other investment. However, with careful analysis and a long-term mindset, you can potentially see future success. one more thing because many people recommend to diversify your portfolio meaning not All in All in one basket because investing in Bitcoin is like running a marathon, not a sprint.. So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
I also finally managed to see my cousin yesterday, now I have to work a lot in the evening and at night, so I am almost constantly busy, and it’s very tight with free time, but yesterday we saw each other and I shared with him that I was buying bitcoin. He said that he had already heard about bitcoin more than once before, but did not attach any importance to it, however, like I once did. It seems that he was interested, I promised to help him if he wants to buy.
How do you wish to help?

You could be living in a country which does not allow easy transactions to happen in which case you are in a tough spot. If your family member does not show interest from their side your efforts will be least effective in helping them. If they see the importance of bitcoin and then they start approaching trusted people about how to use it how to buy it, then it will help.

I would personally keep bitcoin away from the matters at home unless they show interest themselves. One family member losing money means everyone will be blamed for it and then the situation will turn sour.

Some opportunities come in every person's life, someone can use it and some fail. Your university friend made a big change in your life by letting you know about Bitcoin. Maybe many others like you have been aware of Bitcoin but haven't taken advantage of the opportunity.

Not only did your friend play a key role in your conversion, but you yourself were positive, which is why you easily adopted Bitcoin with you. I was also influenced by a friend of mine. I will be forever grateful to him. But the sad thing is that the person through whom I entered this Bitcoin world and change my life But the person who was not able to bring about any change in his life. That is why I think both providers and receivers should be positive for change his own life.

I came to know about bitcoin from one of my friends but he only told me about bitcoin that he started investing in bitcoin and how bitcoin works.  Then I started dabbling in Bitcoin and learned a lot online. And I on the other hand came to know about this forum from one of my online friends.  And this forum helped me a lot more to gain proper knowledge about Bitcoin. But the funny thing is that now I know more than those who first told me about it and they now come to me for various help and I am very happy to help them.  Although able to gain more knowledge from them, I still respect them as my  first teacher

It is admirable that you are still teaching your cousin about Bitcoin in your busy schedule.  But you should first tell him about the risk of investing in Bitcoin so that he can't blame you if he gets hurt somehow.

Yes definitely don't leave any coins laying around on the exchange, the security risk is way too high. When we recommend it teach somebody about bitcoin and other crypto coins it's important that we make them aware of the security risks. There have been big scandals in the past and it's up to all of us to not repeat the same mistakes again. In my family only one person is holding also crypto currencies, my cousin. Last year for his birthday I made a small crypto portfolio for him to store his coins. He hasn't really bought any by himself, but I am going gift him some again this year for his birthday. Among my friends it's a bit different, I would say that 60-70% own a few bitcoins but aren't really using them for purchases. Because I kept talking so much about cryptos they all wanted to get invested as long term investment that might pay off in a few years. Only one of my friends trades still in CSGO skins and uses bitcoin for that.

I buy all valid country Gift cards swiftly.

I hope this will be useful for those who still store bitcoins on the exchange, you should think about security and hold your coins on hardware wallets.

You're right Buddy but not everyone can afford a hardware wallet as you know it's expensive.
But there are other ver sade and secure way to store one's coin and assets which includes the use of decentralized exchanges/wallets and also not sharing your seed phrase
And also using two factor authentication (2FA) for both logins, deposit and also withdrawal to avoid  unauthorized access to your coins.

I love the fact that you already have the mentality of hodling for long because that is one way you can easily stay very productive in the industry without much risk and you should develop more time to studying about crypto and Bitcoin in particular so as to stay updated on the market. I also want to say a big congratulations to you as you can be addressed as a Bitcoin investor and please always keep your ledger very safe and away from water.

I was actually introduce to bitcoin by a friend who actually explained the whole thing as a get rich scheme to me and this made me really curious and I wanted to know more about it but luckily for I asked him to show me where I can actually gather full  knowledge the bitcoin trend that was everywhere in my locality and he guided me here and since that time I have come to the knowing that you can get rich with bitcoin but it's a slow and steady race and since I had also told one or two about the wonderful opportunity that's comes with bitcoin but I also tell them the downside effect too, about it volatility and so far I have at least two friends that know and operate bitcoin with me fluently.
When I approach my friend who explained what Bitcoin was all about and gave me advice on when to buy and sell the bitcoin I currently possess, I am always calm and grateful. Bitcoin changed lives. You should be grateful to your friend for introducing you to the world of cryptocurrencies because you're currently on the correct track to success. Rarely will a friend actually teach you how to use cryptocurrency to make money online; instead, they'll usually just give you general advice. It's your responsibility to pay attention to the update at the end. You'll become a serious person who consistently achieves top priority in the area.

I learnt about Bitcoin years back through my sibling but before then I had a bit knowledge about digital currency because there was actually a particular digital stuff I was doing then which I was used to generate funds for myself but the unfortunate happened, I was hacked and virtually my wallet was emptied and I lost interest in anything digital currency stuff and it was that period bitcoin came to full existence. I lost out because of my experience then  but year's later my sibling told me about bitcoin but I was adamant about it. After we had discussed about it, I told him my experience which he was aware about the happenings then.

Nevertheless, after much rigorous research on bitcoin I finally came to resolve of taping into the new technology and gradually I became conversant with the system and how it works. Talking about this platform, my sibling also introduced me here and made sure o got to know the policy well and how to go about my activities onboard. It was a good experience though and it has helped me scale through hurdles because sometimes when it seems as if I had nothing to turn to for rescue my bitcoin is always there to deliver for backup although I have other investments but bitcoin has always been my ft response to sorting things out.

All thanks to my sibling who revived and encourage me and brought me back onboard.

At the beginning of 2014 I learned from college friends, at that time there was no job and I was confused about what to do so
came out with the idea of creating a creative community there, there were bloggers and others. and the year is also the end of the year introducedbitcoin, there were weeks when I learned from the basics until the end of 2015 there were results and the peak in 2017 was getting the results are quite increasing, that's where the capital buys work tools such as laptops and cellphones so that the results from bitcoin too opened a coffee shop business until now running. Even though there are coffee shop activities, I don't forget that the capital from bitcoin remains carry out the usual routine.

I came to know about Bitcoin through online and since then my interest in Bitcoin was born. And I then started reading various articles about Bitcoin and looking for videos in my local language on YouTube to know better about Bitcoin.  Although at that time there were no videos about Bitcoin on YouTube in my local language.  So in that case I had a lot of trouble to learn about Bitcoin at that time. But I am proud of myself now that I have achieved it through my own efforts

I learned about bitcoin from my friend, he trades, I knew about it for a long time, but it did not attract my attention. Somehow we talked with him on this topic and he told me what bitcoin is, I was very interested in it, he also told me that there are many different altcoins. Before that, I had only heard about bitcoin and possibly ether, but I had no idea that there were so many different altcoins.
It was a big plus point for you that you understood Bitcoin nicely from your friend. So in this case it takes you very little time to understand about Bitcoin.  And understood about it very easily.

Holding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency coins on CEX is very high risk.  So of course if planning to hold for long time, Bitcoin should be held in a non-custodial wallet or purchasing a hardware wallet if needed. These will keep an investor's bitcoins safe. coz always remember that, not your key not your bitcoin.

Only my father deals with bitcoin through me, but every other family members and relatives don't get involved with BTC and have always declined the invitation to do so because they are fearful of losing money, what would consequently create issues and debates with another family members who would blame them for such potential losses. I just respect their decision and say nothing else about it.

One or another friend knows about bitcoin and invest small sums of money on it, but they still hold their coins mainly on exchanges. I believe they aren't so interested in bitcoin at the point of acquiring a hardware wallet to store their satoshis safely. Where I live we still have a hard time opening the minds of the people for something new, especially regards finances.

Nothing lasts forever
I learned about bitcoin from my friend, he trades, I knew about it for a long time, but it did not attract my attention. Somehow we talked with him on this topic and he told me what bitcoin is, I was very interested in it, he also told me that there are many different altcoins. Before that, I had only heard about bitcoin and possibly ether, but I had no idea that there were so many different altcoins.

He explained to me how to register on the exchange, how to buy and sell, everything was clear and I started trading a little, at first my friend helped me, then I started doing it myself. I always kept all my coins on the exchange.

Once my uncle came to visit us, and I accidentally saw that he was looking at the charts on his smartphone, I asked him and it turned out that he was also involved in cryptocurrencies. We talked a bit about cryptocurrencies that evening, I was excited that my uncle also buys bitcoin, because before that I had doubts whether it was good to buy cryptocurrencies, because I know that my father does not take it seriously.

It was from my uncle that I learned not to store coins on the exchange, and later my uncle gave me a ledger, it was the coolest present for my birthday. It was thanks to him that I learned that you need hold coins correctly, safety is above all, and that Bitcoin should be the main investment.

A little later when I was looking for more information about bitcoin and accidentally found this forum, by the way my uncle and my friend heard about this forum but they are not registered here. And I liked how everything is arranged here, there is a lot of information here and there is a large cryptocurrency community here. There are also ranks, you can grow, it's like a game where you need to reach levels.

Now I store my bitcoins only on a hardware wallet and after reading a lot of topics, I realized that this is one of the most reliable ways. So far, my investment is not as big as I would like it to be, but I am still young, I have a lot of time and I am inspired, because I see great opportunities in this, I can buy bitcoin in small parts, and this will be my investment in the future.

I recently read a thread where investing in bitcoin is compared to a young tree that takes a few years to start fruiting, this is a very good comparison, I will project it on my investments and hope that everything works out.

I hope this will be useful for those who still store bitcoins on the exchange, you should think about security and hold your coins on hardware wallets.

There are few of my friends who hold cryptocurrencies but on an exchange. They don't hold much which is the reason why they hold it on an exchange and not in a hardware wallet.
It's good that you are holding your coins in a hardware wallet and yes that's the safest place to hold the coins in.
Keep learning more on this forum as it has a vast amount of knowledge and keep posting. This is surely a motivational post for others.

I discovered bitcoin through another online forum, we were simply talking about possible investments and one guy brought up bitcoin, and the more he talked about it, the more I found it fascinating. I remember I told some of my friends about it but no one was actually interested, years later a few of them told me they deeply regretted not buying when we talked about bitcoin. For many people cryptos are a very complicated thing and they don't even try to learn and understand a bit more, they just give up since the very beginning.

At first, Bitcoin never meant anything special to me because I have a negative thoughts about it and always think it's a scam.
However, after learning about it and discuss it with others, I decide to learn more about bitcoin and began some research. After I had my satisfaction, I decided to buy a small amount of bitcoin, and in the end, I realized that bitcoin was something special, and if you know how to do it, you can make a lot of money.
My friends are aware of bitcoin, and none of them have purchased. I want to persuade them to do so because, as a young person, purchasing bitcoin is important in one's life because you need alternative in life, you don't have to depend on one source of investment.

Being or getting blamed is the main reason on why i dont really tend to share up this crypto opportunity among others or even into my relatives because i dont really like that the would really be blaming me on the time that they are seeing their portfolio is on reds.I have that bad experience on the time i had explained it to my cousin and on the time comes where the market did make some -20% on his portfolio then
he had been speaking bad things about me and blaming me out. After that, i didnt tend to explain it out on the time that someone do ask out about it because
i dont like to experience the same thing again.
I thought about the same thing, I wanted to explain to my father that buying bitcoin could bring him profit, but I did not dare to this conversation. My biggest fear is that when he buys bitcoin on my advice, the price will start to fall and I will feel guilty, even if my father doesn’t tell me about it, I’m sure he will think that I dragged him into something risky. I'd rather buy alone and when my investment brings me a good return, I can take care of my parents if necessary.

My story is same as your story. I came to know about Bitcoin from my friend. My friend knew very well about Bitcoin and always encouraged me to invest in Bitcoin. He guided me fully on how to trade and registered on the exchange himself. Introduced all aspects of trading and taught me how to buy and sell everything through p2p.I have achieved a lot of success with Bitcoin today because of that guy.  Back then very few people knew about Bitcoin, but now a days everyone knows about Bitcoin. Now I am also encouraging many people to invest in Bitcoin, so that they are not unemployed.
Im also thankful on someone who had introduced me about this forum and this time i do able to learn about Bitcoins existence which it did really give out that vast idea about on how it works, not only limited on Bitcoin itself but also into other altcoins as well which it did really end up on affecting my life when it comes to earning opportunities which it did really bring up convenience at the same time i do able to buy up things
that i do want but of course im not really that earning that much but im really thriving to have that kind of consideration when it comes to enhancing even more.
Sharing up the opportunity about Bitcoin and entire crypto wont really be that a bad idea.
