Huge price increase will make for easier adoption. Why? Popularity.

Cool

I will choose mass adoption, because i think it is better for us and also for bitcoin, if we want to see bitcoin in a price increase than mass adoption is better. Because we all are using the bitcoin, and only for gain profit, but main thing is that we should wait for it because it will take sometime.

I voted for mass adaptation. Though price increase is also very important for bitcoin users and vendors but its the mass adaptation that will thrive the currency and industry as well. It will also help in increasing the price and will make it more useful for even a non tech guy.

I think better is to get mass adoption than huge price pump and dumps because without mass adoption the huge price increase will certainly come with even higher price dumps because there will be not much buy force behind.

i choose for mass adoption especially from people around us and we can tell to them about bitcoin. beside that, we can use the technology of internet to reach more people and so we can introduced bitcoin to them.

Well, CMIIW the more people use Bitcoin the more the price would increase. So the better option for Bitcoin is to have a mass adoption, because it would affect the price of Bitcoin itself.
And high price is no longer important if no one even uses the currency.
We can't forget about massive adoption will trying for giving a different achievement for bitcoin and absolutely community will trying for involving if bitcoin are any things are need forget any value from them, totally a lot of nature sense will trying for following the trend. massive adoption will more appreciate rather than high price. but sometimes the highest price of bitcoin are mirroring how many valuable bitcoin for some person.

you can say huge price increase is a temporary success and as time passes it will start to diminish and finally come to lower of its real price and mass adoption will not increase the price alot but yes it will cause more and more active trades in the market which will slowly increase the price

There is no point in asking this question cause we can have them both, there is no mass adoption without huge price increase or the opposite.
The real question for me is when this going to happen(cause it will happen one day IMO) if more people start using Bitcoin as a currency and not as an investment only we might see it happening in the next 10-15 years.

Any store can buy, sell, and accept Crypto
I do believe mass adoption is the best for bitcoin, with those it will be recognized as currencie, and will get a bigger value, because should happen the same as gold, receives huge investment, from the people, knowing that they might earn a lot and without have to get taxed.
Mass adoption is important, but I think huge price increase is the most important thing becouse if people see that bitcoin is not just currency but it is also an investment too so the people will intetest with bitcoin. Try to get bitcoin then become bitcoin users.

Life is a game, you either play it or get played.
All currency is implied to thrive most where adoption spreads.

Think of how the origins of money became what it is today, everybody uses cash tied to a country and has convertible options of traveling abroad where people use it every single day.

Since i see many people only care or focus about bitcoin price and they say it's good for bitcoin future. But, of course we know bitcoin is a currency and we need people who use/accept bitcoin as currency.

So, Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase?
Of course, we're NOT talking huge price increase because mass adoption.

A huge price increase will only make people sell everything they have and walk away (at least most of them will) so I'd say having Mass adoption is much better (and which will eventually lead into a stable price increase)

I'd also prefer mass adoption than high price because the higher mass adoption the most popular bitcoin is. so bitcoin might be accepted in so many countries.

high price is just another matter or just the positive effect of mass adoption.

If I was a pure speculator, I'd have to say I'd be hoping for an insane, runaway, drool-on-your-bib bull market--i.e., a huge price increase.  But if I was going to be sucker enough to actually use bitcoin as a currency, then it'd be mass adoption.  I am neither one of those.

What I'm hoping for is a slow, sustainable increase, and that doesn't necessarily mean bitcoin will be widely adopted.  I don't think it will be anytime soon.  I'm not hoping for 2013 again, because that sort of blast isn't sustainable.

Chicken or the egg debate really.

If you get mass adoption you are also going to see a jump in price, least that is how I see the future based of current history.
Lets say they are separate...If the price jumps and people are priced out,we would eventually face a decline in the longer term.
If we build a strong base with the mass adoption we could be more profitable and efficient longer term as opposed to sky roof increase pushing out even some of the people here.

Mass adoption and price jump aren't necessarly correlated.

A group of 10 to 100 whales can take the price to 10k per coin by tomorrow, in this case we don't need massive adoption, we only need a small group of people with deep pockets ready to move their wealth into BTC.

I think if you run it in the set way I mentioned it does correlate but I agree it does not work the other way around, being price increase bringing mass adoption.
That is a bit more murky and unknown.
So if a group of whales bring a large amount of currency into bitcoin to facilitate a rise in awareness in would draw attention by the media.
But it would be short lived like when they drag the person wanting to sell their car for bitcoin,it dies off after that till a pedo gets busted with it.

While both do rely on each other, the more important one for Bitcoin's future has to be mass adoption. Bitcoin already had a huge price increase all the way back in late 2013, reaching an all-time high price over $1200, before the price falling to about half of that before recovering and stabilizing. The price currently stands at $700, which is much higher than it was even a year ago, and many experts are predicting that it will reach over $1000 again in 2017, and for that to happen, many new people have to get on board and learn about Bitcoin.

When bitcoin being used by more and more people there's a chance for bitcoin to survive much longer. Bitcoin will become a currency used in many places and not just a comodity. So, mass adoption will be better for bitcoin!

Right now, a lot people think of bitcoin as an investment more than as a way of transacting funds. They care more about the price than the number of people who use it.

But what's the point of having bitcoin when barely anybody uses/accepts it as payment? What's the point when I have to convert to fiat to buy most things? I'd rather mass adoption rather than a price increase.
