The idea of gambling was supposed to be for fun and some wins along the line, not a die hard career that requires much seriousness and a lot of funds to loose.

On the other hand, betting bears similarities to gambling as both involves putting in funds against a presumed odd just to win big on the prediction one has made.

I only bet on matches that are very interesting like finals, El Classico, London derby and other great competitive matches that I think I could win big on. Not just betting on anyone match being played everyday. In such scenario, I have a control over how I place bets and can enjoy myself while waiting for the outcome of bets made. It's more fun this way .

Why do you think gambling should be fun? I don’t know a single person who is interested in gambling and gets pleasure from it. I think this is a wrong point of view. I know more disappointed people who play than those who enjoy it.
Moreover, even when a person wins money, he does not always get pleasure from it. After all, then he begins to think that he should have bet more money on this outcome.

I sometimes kill time by watching blackjack games on the youtube channels of certain users who play it for fun with their own casinos or setup casinos. We're the same, that's why I don't really watch anymore when I have a bet because I can't focus watching because the other half of my mind is busy thinking about my bet and thinking if I'm going to win or not, seems like being an overthinker can really manifest the thing that they're thinking which somehow results of losing.

well this makes a difference where everyone proves that everyone has their own choices, we will do what we think is happy or good for us. as long as it doesn't harm others then there is nothing wrong with it.
Like me who doesn't like to place bets while watching, and like you who prefers to bet while watching. do you ever regret your bets? I mean when you bet and lose do you regret it?

What are you looking for in a situation like this, is it the pleasure of watching and also the pleasure of winning bets that you are looking for? everyone has their own motives like you said it all depends on the individual. i just suggest not to overdo the betting because it still includes winning and losing, also don't let you lose self-control when you get an unwanted final result.

Not for me though, when I watch the game and I see my team aren't playing well, everytime I do a live bet, I have experience losing most of the time. So it's not working for me, watching it and thinking of live betting will only make the situation worse, unless you are a professional sports bettor and you have a data to back up your pick, however, if it's "emotion-based" bet, forget it.

Live bets is different and I'm acquainted with it. The outcome we gets each time we're in the market, we just have to play safe. We wants the very best results for ourselves and I wouldn't be happy to watch my side dried up without any significant profits measured out. The outcomes we gets when we bet is different from the possible outcome that will be generated when we don't place any bet. We watched with our eyes open when our money is stake on bet, we watch the game with so much passion and can gives every single details of our this matched bets on played.

Placing a bet is nice but I can get the same level of enjoyment in either scenario; even if I should lack a wager placed for teams in the current game the performance of the team is relevant for future bets so its all good either way.
   I would not feel obliged to bet, that would be bad voodoo and force mistakes trying to gamble when the premise for a good outcome of risk vs reward is no longer there.  Not every game should be bet on but it doesn't mean its not relevant overall or enjoyable.    Sometimes its circumstances not just the money issue of having enough to bet, it could be time before the game to have spare time to consider then place the bet.  If you rush again do not expect to win, if you have no special feeling to decide a good outcome confidence again do not bet just watch its all fine.  Anyone who feels they have to bet on a game to enjoy not in a good place imo, watch the film Bad Lieutenant classic betting downfall movie

Watching with bet used to be more enjoyable than just watching a match. When you've placed a bet on a match, it makes us watch the match and gives us the opportunity to avoid loss if things were against our prediction. Apart from the same my preference used to be live betting which lets us predict the outcome in a much closer manner.

It will trigger adrenaline and your heartbeat will be faster, there is a certain satisfaction and excitement from the sensation you get if indeed the favorite team you bet on really wins in that match, but on the other hand there will be two consequences also in my opinion, first maybe you will feel disappointed because your favorite team loses and secondly it is certain that the money you bet will also be lost, so there are two disappointments and annoyance that arise in your mind. But it does not matter as long as you understand all the risks that may occur, certainly you can be a fairly responsible gambler by being able to accept all possible risks.

Another thing is that using a small budget is highly recommended because on the other hand your goal is just to seek entertainment from the sensations you get, so of course the budget allocation really has to be considered so that if the final result is not suitable then you will not suffer too much pressure and regret.

Emotions would really be just that the same or something that could really be that progressive on which thrill,excitement,anger,disappointment etc. would really be there.

This is their main difference if we do speak about those betting with money or not. If you could be able to bare up the risks on losing just for the sake of making some leisure and entertainment
then it isnt bad to have some engagement with this one.

This can be explained by many reasons, depending on the psychological state of each person, and it is most likely to be enthusiastic. Everyone will want to raise the challenge by betting on the favorite leagues.  

Considering that those watching the matches are not regular gamblers, placing a bet will be a way to raise the challenge and have more fun.  When your bet loses, it means that your favorite choice in sports games has lost, and for this reason you will be sad.

I agree with you, it is more fun to watch since there is more thrill to know the risk of winning and losing in the hands of your team that you have bet, cause if you are the one who's playing, for sure you can conclude the possible outcome since you know your strength and weakness. Spectating is much better because you are just stressing for your bet to win, cause if you are the player, you would stress up yourself to win and profit. Whenever I watch a game without bets, it feels good without thinking of losing money, but whenever I predict that a team will win in sports betting, it is so regretful.

It is definitely more fun for me to watch the games I bet on. Sometimes it is enough for me to bet just $10 to make ordinary games more entertaining. As for the contents of this thread, it all depends on how someone reacts to it. If that's what you feel, it's different from what I enjoy. But actually it's not much different when I watch other matches, especially crucial matches and we bet on them. example, Leverkusen vs Dottmund. I chose Dortmund, but Leverksuen played very impressively, especially in the second half. Usually gambler bet on a team that they want to win regardless of the money they put for that specific team. This is the reason why watching sports is more fun when there’s a bet involved because you can feel the tense when your team is losing and happiness if your team is already winning.

Just bet what you can afford to lose so that you will not think hard about the money and still focus on the game. The only reason why you will be out of focus when you have bet is if you bet huge amount of money.

In my case it was different because when I started betting, I encouraged to watch games with bet. I have no interest in watching any game without betting. If I didn't bet I wouldn't watch the game. Sometimes I am not motivated to gamble but when I watch a live game I am very excited to gamble. Now i am able to control myself from that situation. I can adapt myself to any situation. But it's true that when I bet on a live game, that game is more fun for me. When we enjoy a live game with betting we stay between losing and winning moment that I enjoy and there are many who do not enjoy game with any kind of pressure. It depends on the individual.

Betting is fun but I prefer to watch and have fun without placing a bet because my focus will be on the game itself and not for the possible result of our bet.

We all know the stress of betting especially we always want to get the profit but the result is always different. If you are watching the game and still place the bet, then I’m sure you can still enjoy it since we all have different view when it comes to enjoying the game.

I feel completely different. It's much more fun for me to watch a game when I have a bet, even if it's a losing one, because you don't know until the end. Let's say you make 2 bets, that a your team of choice wins the match and that there are more than 2 goals. Even if you lose one of the bets and know it early because they're something like 0-3, you also know that the other bet is good. Even if after the whole thing I'm down 5% or something like that, it still is a good and exciting game and I'm fine with a small loss. Watching games without bets is fine only when you're getting drunk with friends while doing it
