At present, I am doing a research on the most profitable trading method and I am wondering: Is it better to do btc/fiat trading or btc/altcoin trading?

Which method yields the highest profit?

For what I am doing so far is, I do trade with different coins, I cannot directly trade bitcoin because its high. but in other coins there is a big possibility that we can earn big bitcoin if we use altcoin trading t will be profitable for us, and many of the traders dong this strategy too.
With small capital it's hard to be profitable with bitcoin trading, altcoins is the answer IMO, they are more volatile than bitcoin and you have a lot of options to choose from. Even shit coins might give you some kind of profit if you are good enough in predicting the price movement, I see some are paying people to make fake positive feedback about the coin just to cause a pump, you should look for than one.
You are right we need to have the ability to digest some little losses initially and a low capital guy would panic in such situations.

I think that USD market is much more safe than compared to shitcoins and the USD market gives you the advantage of waiting and growing your coins. I mean like the price goes to $900 in case and we bought at $1200 then we can wait surely and the price will climb back slowly. While with shit coins a coin once done and dusted can't get back up.

Yeah not much you can expect when you are trading use a very small amount capital
The time you spent really not worth , think about it
At least go trading when you have a large capital and a not important fund
I mean to trade the money that you don't need in the near future.

if you have a large capital you can trade currency bitcoin or if you want to test using little capital you can use bittrex and poloniex to trade with altcoin
Never believe into fake assumptions like only with large capital we will get good results in trading. If you're good with your technical analysis, we never need to worry about your capital amounts. Large capital always might lead to big losses, in my experience I always suggest to avoid that. It is always better to stick with small capital.

speaking on small amounts only altcoin would really give you decent profits but we should really treat it not so confident because its really risky.
Basically across all types of trading, the unpredictable price movement will exist and will surprise you at any time. So, not just for altcoin trading, it would be highly recommended to go with small capital for all types of trading because all types tradings are really risky.

Yes, if you do have large capital to trade with bitcoin then its possible and would be profitable if you do know how to trade with it and speaking on small amounts only altcoin would really give you decent profits but we should really treat it not so confident because its really risky.

You are right speaking of making money out of trading then it would really depends on how much capital do you have and as you said its not ideal to make money on bitcoin trading specially if we do have only small amounts since bitcoins price is not too volatile on a short period of time unlike on altcoins.

This will depend on your capability of balance you had. If you want to earn big you need to have a big capital too, though there is big risk a part from it, if small capital you can possibly earn small too.

I think there is no perfect method which could ensure we win. however, to get the victory we have to take risks. altcoin is a good choice and attractive to win, but risky.
any trading method has advantages and disadvantages, we need to choose exactly which strategy is suitable for us. BTC-altcoin trading high risk but a chance at a huge profit is very high, because altcoin could die anytime. BTC-fiat is more secure but not too significant price fluctuations. Everyone could have different method.
If altcoin could die anytime, so we have to be selective when choosing a good
altcoin for us trade. usually there are good coins in Polonie or in Bittrex.
I don't like trading altcoin in Yobit because there are many coins which are not reliable,
and in the end often will be a scam coins.
every one has their own idea about i my self using yobit  for trading alt coins and find it reliable for every time. i  am using yobit for a long time i am really making a good profit from trading alt coins there, i think it only depend on selecting a potential alt coin to trade either you are using bitrex, polonex or yobit.

I think it's better to trade BTC/fiat because at least one of these is not volatile. When you have an asset that has a stable price you only have to predict the price of the other asset. With altcoins you can convert one to another, take a coffee break and come back to a completely different outcome because the price of both your assets is different.
yes i also have the same strategy, i usually do trading in alt coin section, but currently i am only holding bitcoin and not going to invest it anywhere. because price of bitcoin is increasing and it can very soon recover its previous position and when the price of bitcoin will become stable then i will like to invest my bitcoin in such a good ICO or any other altcoin trading. from where i can get good profit.

I'm a newbie but  for me both are profitable and risky. You need have a lot of patience when trading. And remember don't put all the eggs on one basket.
Yes, that's true. Because if you put all eggs on one basket, the percentage of the risk is became high. What if the altcoin that you trade is very slow swinging or the movement is like a turtle. It's good to trade many altcoins because if there's one has the low movement, you will consider it because its sure that there are good or high movement in your altcoins that you trade.

Yes trading of fiat > bitcoin > fiat is a better way of trading because you just need a couple of days to see the results and get profit.

Because in alt coin trading it requires a longer time of waiting before seeing a progress to the coins that you are going to trade.

But they have similarity, if you just miss a chance of selling for higher price you'll regret it and that's happening very often.

At present, I am doing a research on the most profitable trading method and I am wondering: Is it better to do btc/fiat trading or btc/altcoin trading?

Which method yields the highest profit?

For me btc/alt is better trading option than btc/fiat trading, since-
1. Fees envolve in transactions are much less in altcoin trading than bitcoin trading!
2. More choices are available in altcoin trading as person can choose over 800 cryptocurrencies.

However, all types of trading involve risk and no one can rule out this risk!
I do not find any big advantages of having more numbers of options to trade in altcoin trading. Moreover, when we are having more trading pair options, only confusions will be the results and focusing technical analysis on many pairs really a challenging one.

I like to trade only some well known altcoins other wise trading bitcoins against fiats would be more safer for me all the times regardless of how much potential profits I will be missing out from unknown altcoin pairs.

According to me bitcoin/fiat trading seems better.
As you can use your currency to buy anything you want in virtual and real world.
But if you trade with altcoins then you will need to convert them first then use.
So it is a very tiring and lengthy process.
Just a justification for my point.

According to me the best method would be Mining if you have a good durable PC
Since your PC has to on all the time while it mines Bitcoin
There are plenty of videos in YouTube showing tutorials on how to mine Bitcoin
