I'm sure we don't have a source for an accurate answer here. Maybe surveys but that was only limited to a certain place. We can assume that it's not about what type of gambling why gamblers become addicted but rather in any gambler's mind, what they want is to hit that good wins no matter what. They will only achieve that target if they will continuously bet and gamble their money.

Who else doesn't want to win big in gambling, right? This is the clear reason why it leads to addiction no matter the gambling type.

Now are days I see much or all this in house gamblers becoming addicted and acting weird over gambling results, and walking down into some betting shop, you will see most of those gamblers spending their whole day in the gambling shop, which made me have the above question. I know any form of gambling can produce gambling addicts, but among all, there is one that is most common, which is what I want to hear from others.
From my perspective, I would say it an individual thing online or physical, It depends on where the individual finds themselves betting, However, Online betting can be where we could find most people get addicted as no one takes account or sees what they are doing, whether they are addicted or not. Take you for instance, In the trading world, those traders that became addicted to trading don't meet with fellow traders, and they become so addicted that they wouldn't even realize they've become trading addicts because they trade indoors or alone, and nobody reminds them that they are crossing boundaries or over trading. So, I do believe online betting is where we would get most of the addicted gamblers.

I'm thinking that cryptocurrency gambling is on the rise. Cryptocurrency gambling is one of the fastesf-growing parts of the online casino industry. Cryptocurrency gambling offers several advantages over traditional online gambling. These include faster transactions, lower fees and increased privacy, a great way for players who want to play online games safely and without outside interference.

We don't have supporting documents or studies to prove which among you mentioned produced the most number of addicts we could speculate on the matter, but based on logic online gambling produced more gambling addicts than any others, because of the bonuses, free perks and they are operating 24/7 and easily accessible anywhere you are.
They are just a click away, and there are so many online casinos to choose from, once you are lured by one online casino, you will be on so many casinos eventually, and many of the people who know you don't even know that you are into gambling, that makes it more appealing to gamble online, you are out of the prying eyes and criticism.

I don’t think there’s any most common form of gambling that people get addicted to. People have different opinions and preferences when it comes to gambling as they may prefer one over the other. And as I don’t think there’s anyone keeping tabs on the number and rate of addicts from the various forms of gambling.
And as there’s no solid data available(that I know of) that could point out to a significant number of addicts on a form of gambling over the others and even if a data of some sort exists, I would doubt it’s accuracy as you definitely cannot get the right information about the number of addicts amongst the several forms of gambling.

I don't have a certain statistic, but I believe that casino games produce the most addicts as it is fast-paced, and can win or drain your money a lot faster compared to sports betting. Also, casino games seem to be a lot more 'engaging' than sports betting in general, so people tend to get hyped and invested with them more. Not that sports betting is interesting, but with the way it works and the time needed to get one bet completed, it's not really something that develops a lot of addicts.

Also, casinos have become a lot more accessible these days, so almost anyone can play on the go at the comfort of their homes or literally anywhere.

If we actually assess what is happening in my country, slots are a very popular type of gambling and have been played by many people since the Covid outbreak. There have been many cases of closing slot gambling and arresting bookies, this happened because in my country, Indonesia, gambling is illegal and prohibited by the government.

I just want to ask: between casino gambling, in-house gambling, and one-on-one gambling with physical players available on the table, which among these is more likely to turn someone into a gambling addict if the person doesn't have self-control in all his gambling activities?
One on one physical gambling system has more potentials possessions to gambling addictions because the gamblers could always reach out to each other at anytime, the only terms and conditions they abides is their one on ones agreement as the laws of the game in that meantime. So they are personally decides the nature of laws surrounding their betting boards and not like the accredited and approved registered gambling companies which the gamblers has not right to decide about the Terms and the conditions of the gambling would be so it is about you take it that way or you leave the board.
Also, it doesn't consider the restrictions of the underaged people who are likely to be hearteningly tendered not enough to take control of their emotions.

On one on one game, no one have the time to advice the other and everyone in the board becomes a watchlist to you especially when you are loosing because you begin to develop individual hatreds amongst each other.
Most likely, gambling addition is most on the one on one gambling system in the sense they if the gamblers runs out of funds for bets, they are likely to gamble on loan(that is to pay in advance and also, they are liable to stake with valuable properties in a cheap rate.
Due to this, once they runs out of funds, they tends to look for how they can just get reached to what ever valuable just to have a stake and gamble.

Well, I did ask the question that you've got in Google and I got the results that it's electronic kind but it seems that you haven't mentioned it so I assume you don't consider it or are making your own choices as to which one has the most gambling addicts. I can agree with the result that I've seen on the web because electronic or online casinos are more accessible to people compared to the physical ones which is kind of an hassle because you've got to go there physically and spend some time and effort to get there. In conclusion to this question, I think that it's the convenience that's being the factor as to which one's got more people getting addicted so if electronic gambling isn't the one that you're looking for then the one that's most convenient of the 3 options that you've given is the likely one to have more gambling addicts.

Here's the link to the top search of that question.

It's the games in the traditional casinos that are more addicting because a player has more interaction with real people. You could talk to fellow gamblers who can eventually become your friends. I think it's the interaction with people that makes gamblers come back and you get to share experiences on table games.

The online casino games will be the second since you are offered unlimited rewards, and you can win big up to the jackpot especially the slot. But even in offline casinos, the slot is already addictive.

Sure, traditional casinos are designed to be all flashy, entertaining and to keep people playing for as long as possible, but online gambling is even worse, but the virtue of people having unrestricted access 24/7 even when they're lying in their beds.
You could lose a lot of money in one session in a physical casino, but you won't be going there every day and it's easier to keep track of your losses, whereas online gambling is more about losing smaller amounts but much more often, so people might not even realise how much money they are losing there.

What type of gambling is the most addictive?
The type of gambling considered the most addictive has traditionally been slot machines. However, with the rise of internet gambling sites, online gaming has become one of the most addictive contendors. Internet gambling is easier to hide from friends and family as you don’t even need to leave the home in order to gamble.

Slot machines have earned the nickname of the “crack cocaine” of gambling. They are played very fast, with some performing up to 500 spins an hour. This can lead to huge losses in a very short space of time. For some people, this becomes an endless cycle of chasing the losses. They end up playing the machines for hours at a time, with complete disregard for the world outside the slot machine.

This trance-like state is “dark flow”. You may have heard of artists getting  into a “flow” –the idea is usually associated positively with creative activities, where people get so engrossed in the activity that they no longer notice what’s going on around them. However, dark flow is a risk that players with gambling related pathology are far more likely to encounter. They may emerge from their dark flow state having lost all of their money, and then face intense negative emotions such as guilt and panic.

Thankfully, gambling addiction is treatable.

online gambling is the most addictive thing for gamblers. that's because there are so many promotions that direct our brains to a very large win if we play on the site. and it is true that it is proven even though at first we were presented with a fairly large win. that's what causes a huge addiction.
Even so, finally the victory was only temporary because of human nature itself which always wants more and finally only met defeat.

I don't know if this has been discussed before or not.

Reading about gambling addiction I don't think it's a new topic, but fitting to be in here, I just want to ask: between casino gambling, in-house gambling, and one-on-one gambling with physical players available on the table, which among these is more likely to turn someone into a gambling addict if the person doesn't have self-control in all his gambling activities?

Everything is about self-control, including in gambling. So any form, whether you sit on the table and play with other players, or play slot games and dice, you will be addicted if you lost control of yourself.

So doesn't matter about the numbers or statistics, you can go to land-based and say that there are more men than women. But how about online though? we don't see their faces only their user name and to some extend how big they are as a bettor.

We may not have the data for this but for sure, every game have their own addicted players staying and wasting their money. You can be addict in most of the games and maybe slots machine are more prone to this because its easy to play and we know that addicted gamblers always depend on their luck. I personally know someone who got addicted in slots machine, now he’s on a recovery period and the whole community know his story, I just hope that we continue to help addicted players and don’t judge them easily.
That's right, most online gambling games such as slots make people quickly addicted and this is real. Because basically humans are not free from greed, are full of curiosity and also like everything that is instantaneous like slot games, a sensational win is actually the beginning of destruction.
Apart from being easy to play, its features can also hypnotize players to continue playing until the money runs out. And in my area there are lots of cases of slot addicts who have debts everywhere and are slowly losing what they have, they can even commit crimes just to get money to play slots, some even commit suicide. And it is the stories of these addicts who give a negative value to gambling and also make gambling prohibited, even though in fact they are the ones who are guilty because they played without awareness which made them lose control.

I find it hard to believe that peeps are addicted to Virtual games - why? Cus why should you? Imagine wagering thousands and thousands and nothing shows up, and you keep wagering? What's the point of speculating when you don't even know the capabilities of each team, club or villain?

Sadly this virtual game is actually the most addictive game I have seen, you will see many people facing the monitor and wagering. You might find it stupid but I think that’s where  they make quick money from. In the space of five minutes this games are over, if it is the physical game it will take a lot of time and some aren’t after that.

OP I will say the most addictive game is that played online. You easily wager whenever you’re want to play, compare to other house game that you will have to travel Down to the place before anything

Regardless of what type in there with the choices that you've mentioned, as long as it is gambling and it is too much then that makes someone lose his control.

Anything that's enjoyable and can make someone go that much will definitely have a potential to him addicted into it. Majority if not all of the gambling activities and games are addicted when you are not noticing it.

That's the same to be honest with online gambling. We just can't see everyone's faces getting disappointed when we're losing and happy faces when we're winning.

I know any form of gambling can produce gambling addicts, but among all, there is one that is most common, which is what I want to hear from others.
Well then, IMO it's online casino gambling.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
It's easy for a person to get addicted to online or real-life casinos - the reasons might majorly be the varieties of games in this casinos.. I find it hard to believe that peeps are addicted to Virtual games - why? Cus why should you? Imagine wagering thousands and thousands and nothing shows up, and you keep wagering? What's the point of speculating when you don't even know the capabilities of each team, club or villain? So the striving and everything just to get back what you've lost already could trigger an addiction faster than anything else... I dunno if you get my point?

I don't even consider the other form as a solid gambling... Since it's between folks, it remains a joke.

We really don't know that numbers though, but your observation is right, there are a lot of gambling addicts, whether in online and offline or land based casinos. When I do go on traditional based casinos, I will see some new faces, but majority are old ones, meaning they have been gambling there for whatever months or years already. And then when you go and bet online, same username as well and maybe you might have been talking to them as well.

So it's very different, but the effects are the same for this addicts, they will frequent gambling shops, traditional based casino as they are more comfortable. And then we have the new set of online gamblers as well.

To me, there is no need selecting, one is not more addictive than the other, it is just depending on the gamblers and the one they like. If any gambler claims that one is more addictive than the other one, I will only believe them when it is that they have played all kinds, had good experience while observing and then discovered the level of addiction they all can give. If the gambler choosing one over the other has not really played any of the games, then their option is untrusted.

I would have to guess that online and offline casino gambling (namely, slots) would have to have the highest concentration of both losers and total addicts. These games provide the worst odds, they are made to be visually appealing and full of promise of the "jackpot" or a high win. Slots are even hypnotic in a way, I am sure a those in countries with casinos have seen people mindlessly pressing the button before.

Next after casino gambling, I would guess it would be sports betting. People love sports, and gamblers like the odds that come with sports, horse and animal racing (sounds bad when it's said as 'animal racing', eh?

What do you believe in?
Gambling addiction is something that some gamblers allow to happen to them once they lose self-control over their gambling lifestyle. It could be that the gambler never intended to get addicted but was unaware of it, and depending on how they place their mind on gambling, they can get addicted no matter what type of gambling it is.

Gambling is just what it is; the more you play, the more you feel you want to keep playing so that you can win more, recover your losses, or beat your competitor.

So, it takes one's determination, self-control, and discipline for them not to get addicted to gambling because every type of gambling has an addictive spirit.
