in conclusion all types of gambling games can be addictive and all have a big boost after getting a big win. but it all depends on the mindset of each gambler and in my opinion the type of game that can encourage someone to become addicted more quickly is usually slot games. because this game has a big chance of getting maxwin so when you get maxwin someone will become more curious and keep trying it.
I have many friends who are addicted to slot gambling so it is true what you say that only slot games can make people addicted because the maxwin they are chasing is difficult for them to get so they spend their money until it is drained with nothing left, games like sports betting and others can also It makes the addiction come back to the user because curiosity and greed can make someone addicted, but the ones I encounter most now are slot gambling addicts.

I don't know if this has been discussed before or not.

Reading about gambling addiction I don't think it's a new topic, but fitting to be in here, I just want to ask: between casino gambling, in-house gambling, and one-on-one gambling with physical players available on the table, which among these is more likely to turn someone into a gambling addict if the person doesn't have self-control in all his gambling activities?

All the type of games has the potential to turn any individual that doesn't have discipline into a gambling addict therefore we have to be very careful in any type of game we're using to gamble. Addictions comes from the mindset as any individual can become addicted for the simplest things that shouldn't be a problem to not get addicted to. Casino gambling is the type of gambling that I think will make gamblers addicted more as it has alot of things to make that happen.

Casino games are mostly games based on luck and when you're playing them online, you won't be monitored and can play them for very long period and you might get addicted to playing them. You also don't get limited on the budget you'll spending as casino can't be monitoring the money you're using and they also don't care as they want you to gamble more so they can make profits from your loses.

Some people get addicted to slots game more than others and while some are addicted to sports betting, it doesn't make any much different because addiction is addiction, the solution is try hard not to get too attached to any games online where you are promised to make some money by luck.

There is no game in the gambling space that's addiction free, no single one, and also don't forget that addiction doesn't end where money can be made, it doesn't have to be about money, sometimes what we do can result in addiction, there is alcohol addiction,  we have drugs addiction and we have sex addiction, it goes on and on.

Any addiction is not healthy for you, either money involved or not, you have to make sure you keep distance away from everything, because too much of everything is just bad, make sure you don't gett addicted to what you love doing the most, it's possible to be addicted to something, anything.

not sure whether anyone has answered this or not, this is certain for me based on my own experience.

types of games that can influence gamblers to be addicted to a greater degree. for me, all types of betting can make gamblers become addicted, it's just that it all depends on the mindset and mental strength of someone who can control their thoughts and themselves not to get addicted.

but what I know is that gambling addiction has a drive from something that can trigger a person's mind to become addicted and I'm sure some people already know about it and have even written about it here when a gambler gets a big win in one type of game and that's when his mind starts to be controlled by dopamine which gives a sensation of excessive pleasure and encourages a person to come back again the next day and after returning again, luck will definitely not come twice and defeat will be obtained.
Well, previously a gambler who got a big win got pleasure and then the next day he lost, in his mind the pleasure turned into emotion and he became more curious and chased the loss and that's when the gambler had the first signs of addiction.

in conclusion all types of gambling games can be addictive and all have a big boost after getting a big win. but it all depends on the mindset of each gambler and in my opinion the type of game that can encourage someone to become addicted more quickly is usually slot games. because this game has a big chance of getting maxwin so when you get maxwin someone will become more curious and keep trying it.

Gambling, generally, is addicting, and its precautions don't change according to the type of game gamblers engage themselves. But, checking a higher probability of games with the most addicts, I'd say slot games. The categories may differ in the context of Op's post, such that slot players in online casinos may face a higher possibility of getting addicted than physical casino players. Offline casinos operate in limited times, and duration when they operate, this can help the gambler to moderate his times of participating in gambling. The online gambler has the luxury to gamble for 24 hours round the clock. Although these durations in the case of an offline player may not seem effective, it's worth mentioning, compared to the online gambler who has no control over the time he should or shouldn't gamble. He could be having insomnia due to excessive gambling. Participating in gambling with friends is one type of gambling with a lesser risk of addiction.

Games like board games have a tournament, and the losers leave for the best to compete. Decisions would change according to the reaction of all players in the game. No way the players would consist of compulsive gamblers, the responsible player can stop at any moment, thereby affecting the duration of the other players.

The in-house gamblers, the way I understood it, are those who play in gambling rooms, like predicting games with gadgets provided by the gambling house. These types of gamblers need not bother being addicted, as they can't detect if they're addicted due to the time they spend in the booking room. Most players while in the room don't gamble. They are only present to kill boredom and discuss football with friends. I don't understand why football gamblers get addicted easily, since the league runs during the weekend, for most famous leagues. The main problem with them is wagering huge amounts of money. Winning big makes the gamblers stake money on teams they've never heard of, or analyzed their previous games. So, because they lose a lot, these players would keep on gambling until they can't help but gamble all the time. However, their addiction wouldn't be compared to that of the slot player.

Now are days I see much or all this in house gamblers becoming addicted and acting weird over gambling results, and walking down into some betting shop, you will see most of those gamblers spending their whole day in the gambling shop, which made me have the above question. I know any form of gambling can produce gambling addicts, but among all, there is one that is most common, which is what I want to hear from others.
the addiction comes from players itself and about asking which is which ? I believe that there are more that turns addicted in local gaming I mean traditional gambling that makes them more addicted .
but like what I said ? it is depending in each person for how they will become addicted .

i think that a gambler has the potential to become addicted to either casino gambling, in-house gambling, and one-on-one gambling, because addiction depends on the person, not the game he plays. when someone is unable to control their emotions and tends to allow themselves to get lost in the game, that is where they will become addicted to gambling. even though a game has a high probability of making someone addicted, we cannot rule out the fact that people who cannot control themselves most often become addicts. and because of that, we cannot determine which type of gambling has the most addicts because there is no definite data for this.

Gambling is gambling, it doesn't have to be in-game or online or with other players, and every games have their fans, it could be poker or other particular game, fact is it does not matter, anyone can get addicted to any game they like, if you like poker more than others you will focus on poker to make some money, and you can get addicted, how many people are you going to tell that it was poker you get addicted to? You are into gambling and that's it.

Two guys from my small town are both addicted to sport betting, they don't gamble on casinos but they do sports bet and nothing else, they win few times and they lose most of the time, they get so addicted that they start missing days at work and they got sacked, believe me it doesn't end well for them.

Every gambling has gambling addicts but the accurate numbers or percentage is what I can't give you, maybe it's slots or poker or dice there is no way to know and even if we do what benefits is there for us? It's better to always play safe with gambling, do not let it destroy your life, don't rely on gambling instead of your job, casinos make millions to billions annually, it shows that they are just raking more money from people.

From my view, i'd also say it's the online casinos in general that have more gambling addicts because aside from the fiat online casinos, there's not much initial requirement to start online gambling.

Then again, I might be wrong because physical gambling goes way back, while online gambling only started becoming mainstream, so they most likely have more if we factor in the time between the two. Without that factor, online casinos would probably be in the lead because physical gambling still has a few extra steps.

But this could also be, because with the current development where there is online gambling that makes it easier for everyone to access it and also at this time the fact that everyone cannot be far from cellphones and the internet too, the opportunity for bookmakers to make profits becomes greater with online gambling, because with advertisements that are everywhere, everyone just needs to click on the site and register and play, this is easy and practical, there is nothing that makes it difficult for people to gamble online,
And with people today who mostly don't want to be complicated with what they want, such as ordering food and drinks or paying bills, it can all be done online without them having to go to the place. But the other side of online gambling is that there are definitely sites that are not true or there are also sites that are deceptive, where they have submitted a deposit but there is no balance in their gambling account or sites that do not pay a gambler's winnings. the positive and negative sides are still there are also risks that are certainly sure to exist anywhere. we just have to be smart in taking action.

physical casino gambling has been around for a long time and in my opinion the advantage of physical casinos is in the atmosphere, where if we gamble in a physical casino then we will see the atmosphere around with other people gambling too and usually physical casinos provide a lot of machines for people who come so they can gamble. there are also those who say gambling in physical casinos is easier to win. I myself don't know about that, all I know is that luck will determine whether or not you win at gambling. And back to the title, where everyone has different thoughts and choices, so it is also difficult to set a number or percentage to determine which type of gambling is more in demand by gamblers or gambling addicts. but if you look at the current situation it seems that online gambling has a higher popularity, because it is easy for us to access it, also from the minimum deposit can be done by everyone unlike in physical casinos where there may be a high minimum limit for the amount of deposit.

Based on reports from several institutions in my country, this is the type of slot gambling game that contributes to more gambling addicts, this is because slot games do not require complicated skills to play and can be accessed anywhere and anytime.
and the second is the type of card game, there have been many cases here where card players have lost their homes and even other valuable property confiscated by bank because of their debts that they incurred for gambling, and only sports betting is rarely an addiction.

Everything has the same percentage and gambling has kept up with the times so that currently online gambling is growing rapidly and of course all gamblers have switched to it.
There is no difference between online gambling, and so on because as long as the gambler plays it will always create feelings of curiosity that have the potential to become gambling addict.
But some people consider online gambling to be one of the easiest things to make someone become a gambling addict, it just that online gambling is actually more likely to make someone addicted because of the convenience it provides.
So far, gambling has been known or enjoyed by almost all groups and all ages, even cases of gambling addiction are not all adults but also many teenagers have started to become addicted.
This is one of the impacts of the convenience obtained by online gambling and of course cases like this have changed everyone thinking that online gambling is more likely to make someone addicted.

I think all types of gambling, in-house, casino, online casino, etc., can cause addiction. Maybe it will depend on the people or gamblers; some prefer to play online casino and get addicted to it, while others would like physical casinos that let them socialise and meet their friends or other people. So in short, it will depend on the people on what type of casino play they want, and the level of addiction will be the same as all gambling or casino types could cause the same level of addiction and the same number of addicts in gambling.

So I don't think there's something to be discussed, but yeah, I think we have different opinions and views on this matter. Just for me, no matter what kind of casino that is or ways of playing gambling, they are all the same, in the sense that they can make the same number of addicts.

I don't think that there's a specific type of gambling for you to become addicted to it, because I know some person who gets addicted by playing in casino, one-on-one and in house gambling. I can't say that they have a similarities but it depends to a person how they can manage their gambling habit. Maybe now, if you look at it, we can see that more and more people are addicted to online casinos because it is more convenient to play games especially during the height of the pandemic when people are forbidden to go out. But in reality, it's not about what kind of gambling you try to play, even if it's low class gambling, if someone really finds it hard to control their emotions, they'll even end up addicted.

Is there a way to determine such number? We can only make a biased opinion about it. But if I would be naking my own, I guess there are more gambling "addicts" with pure luck based games such as slots, roulettes, and dice games. One reason is convenience of playing that in these games, they won't require an hour every game unlike with sportsbetting. To compare, you may get too huped with sportsbetting but atleast time would only allow you to play few times due to length of each game. Frequency of playing would more likely hook a gambler towards addiction especially if results are already there within minutes.

I'm sure we don't have a source for an accurate answer here. Maybe surveys but that was only limited to a certain place. We can assume that it's not about what type of gambling why gamblers become addicted but rather in any gambler's mind, what they want is to hit that good wins no matter what. They will only achieve that target if they will continuously bet and gamble their money.

Who else doesn't want to win big in gambling, right? This is the clear reason why it leads to addiction no matter the gambling type.

From my perspective, I would say it an individual thing online or physical, It depends on where the individual finds themselves betting, However, Online betting can be where we could find most people get addicted as no one takes account or sees what they are doing, whether they are addicted or not. Take you for instance, In the trading world, those traders that became addicted to trading don't meet with fellow traders, and they become so addicted that they wouldn't even realize they've become trading addicts because they trade indoors or alone, and nobody reminds them that they are crossing boundaries or over trading. So, I do believe online betting is where we would get most of the addicted gamblers.

I'm thinking that cryptocurrency gambling is on the rise. Cryptocurrency gambling is one of the fastesf-growing parts of the online casino industry. Cryptocurrency gambling offers several advantages over traditional online gambling. These include faster transactions, lower fees and increased privacy, a great way for players who want to play online games safely and without outside interference.

We don't have supporting documents or studies to prove which among you mentioned produced the most number of addicts we could speculate on the matter, but based on logic online gambling produced more gambling addicts than any others, because of the bonuses, free perks and they are operating 24/7 and easily accessible anywhere you are.
They are just a click away, and there are so many online casinos to choose from, once you are lured by one online casino, you will be on so many casinos eventually, and many of the people who know you don't even know that you are into gambling, that makes it more appealing to gamble online, you are out of the prying eyes and criticism.

I don’t think there’s any most common form of gambling that people get addicted to. People have different opinions and preferences when it comes to gambling as they may prefer one over the other. And as I don’t think there’s anyone keeping tabs on the number and rate of addicts from the various forms of gambling.
And as there’s no solid data available(that I know of) that could point out to a significant number of addicts on a form of gambling over the others and even if a data of some sort exists, I would doubt it’s accuracy as you definitely cannot get the right information about the number of addicts amongst the several forms of gambling.
