I want to buy some Tether USDT.
but the bitgo wallet don't have Tether wallet.
Which wallet is the best for USDT?
you should try trust wallet since this wallet has TRC20 and ERC20 network for Tether USDT,  And you know the transaction speed is okay as well based my experience and it's available for mobile devices which is good to have an easy access to your funds.. And as usual you need phrases to recover your funds and you can set your security to make it very secured, so probably a good recommendation in my personal opinion.  Smiley

DAI is claimed to be decentralized but I have no idea as I haven’t had a closer look.
Nice idea but sucks to see it's in Ethereum Blockchain. But my question is since they claim to be decentralized then how do they control the price?

Quote
The price of DAI is soft-pegged to the U.S. dollar and is collateralized by a mix of other cryptocurrencies that are deposited into smart-contract vaults every time new DAI is minted.

What about the USD those were withdrawn?

Which wallet is the best for USDT?

USDT is a ERC-20 token which means it is a token on the Ethereum Ecosystem. Since a few months aso there is also a USDT on the Binance Smart Chain, so every wallet that is supporting ERC-Tokens or Binance Smart chain Tokens can be used to deposit and withdraw USDT and pretty much every big wallet is supportin both Ethereum and Binance Smart chain, so you can freely choose between metamask, trustwallet or exodus just to give a few examples. You should consider though that USDT is not considered as the safest Stable coin out there, as there are others like for example USDC that seem to be more secure in therms of reserves.

Many wallets can be very suitable for storing USDT,
You can use Trustwallet, Myetherwallet and also Metamask with any network you like, so you can save and use it when you need it anytime.

Which wallet is the best for USDT?
For me used any wallet that holds your own key so you are safe from storing any coin or tokens. Used a hardware wallet if you have budget and there are other free source or Web or app wallet that are trusted like metamask or trustwallet.

I think Usdt are supported with all hardware wallet but not sure which chain they are supporting.

Does Bitgo wallet have other coins options aside from usdt pair? just like Tron, Bnb, Xrp, Dot, link, and more
because if there is, I think you can avoid high transaction fee when you withdraw it, I don't know if you try Metamask wallet and
trust wallet, try to check them out dude.

Every wallet that supports recovery seed and private keys are best for USDT and now USDT is also available on different Chains like BSC and TRC20, just keep your private keys safe that's all, also you can stake USDT too which I think is cool instead of holding

Tether is supported by many different wallets. The best are Trust Wallet that is compatible with either ERC20 and BEP20 also you can try Tron link where you will have TRC20 Tether. I would recommend you exactly Tron link and Tron chain as it is very cheap and you can invest your Tether to some defies and get interests instead of just holding them.

If you want to use software wallets to store USDT then you can use any wallet among  Trust Wallet, Exodus, Atomic Wallet. Again if you want to store usdt in a hardware wallet they try Ledger Nano X/S, Trezor Model T/One, Safepal. Among them, software wallets are easy to use and hardware wallets are the safest crypto wallets. And you can also store other coins in these wallets because they all are multi-asset cryptocurrency wallets. There's an article that discusses the best multi-asset crypto wallets to store USDT or any cryptocurrency.

It is better to use wallets that have access to the private key. There is absolutely no exchange. If the amount is large then you can take a physical wallet. Also remember that you will need gas to transfer from your wallet. But for me personally, metamask is the most convenient to use.

Which wallet is the best for USDT?

You must know what kind of USDT that will be stored in your wallet. USDT has so many kinds of smartcontract and you can check it here. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tether/

If you're wanna storing your USDT erc20 and you can use mycrypto but if it didn't ERC20 asset and it's better try to use the multiple wallet just like trustwallet, token pocket and etc.

Those wallets have been supporting multiple blockchains which already supported by USDT. You must also remember to use only popular wallet because the security can be trusted.

Which wallet is the best for USDT?

Tether is supported by Ethereum, Tron, Binance Smart Chain, and every of this chain has its own best wallet for it. Personally I use Tron link (the wallet of Tron chain) to buy and store USDT. Also you can swap in this wallet and connect it to different defi-projects so you can stake your Tether when you buy it. The most important thing is that it is very cheap.

I would suggest Metamask they have a desktop version where you can add an extension on your browser for easier use and they have mobile version too if I can remember. But if you have big amount of USDT and you want it to be extra secure I suggest that you should use a hardware wallets such as Ledger and Trezor. You need to purchase it but it's worth it.

I used ledger for 90% of my coins. If you don't know how to link youre ledger with metamask there are plenty of tutorials online to figure it out but it is a relatively simple process. ETH network the fees are extremely high so if you want to store tether on your ledger its prolly best to use a different network like solana or bsc or matic choice is yours.

USDT resides on many networks. If you want to store USDT in your wallet, I suggest storing it on Tronlink, because transaction fees on the Tron network are the cheapest compared to other networks.

Depends which chain your USDT is on. Having it on Ethereum chain will require you expensive fees because the gas fees for ethereum right now is high as crazy. There are other chains that won't require you that much fees like in TRC20, there's also USDT on that chain and there are the others too.
So that really depends on what chain your USDT is found. But just to be wise with the fees because you'll never like the high fees right now, then choose the chain of TRC20, I don't know in the other if they're also cheap except erc20.

......

It is important when purchasing usdt.Because for different reasons, you can use different methods and for different blockchains too. Because we know usdt is in all blockchain networks and then ethereum-based usdt is the most popular, then bsc usdt, and trontron based usdt too. But ethereum network based usdt charges $100+ jusr for transactions on decentralized exchanges. If you need ethereum based usdt, then I suggest you use a centralized exchange where you can use binance and ftx exchange. Then from binance or ftx, you can send it anywhere. because they charge fewer fees. But if you want to use another blockchain-based currency, such as bsc or tron, you can use Binance and Ftx, which also support the max blockchain network for withdrawing and depositing.

Or you can use a decentralized wallet/exchange like this: For ethereum-based metamask swaps, uniswap. And for bsc, you can choose between pancakes and metamask swap. And for tron, you can choose to justswap.

although I fail to understand why would people hold USDT, since it won't grow bigger than 1$ (stablecoin), it has issues with its backing and you have to trust the issuer (again, stablecoin).
Because not everyone is here for the technology (I really hope you got what I meant  Cheesy). Well, you may need to liquidate your investment at some point & stablecoin is there to give you that benefit. If I'm correct, USDT had some ongoing issues few days ago as well but last week they had some good adjustments/settlement.

I always wonder if we have any stable coins which is decentralized.
DAI is claimed to be decentralized but I have no idea as I haven’t had a closer look.
