I really dislike how Youtube is already full of those "Reaction" face thumbnails. Worse, crypto-related channels seem to have an even higher proportion of those "open mouthed face" annoying videos.

Only problem is, sometimes these guys are the only ones with any info worth knowing that's easily Googleable. They know how to SEO themselves, I guess. So newcomers are led there. And many are actually put off, you know. Hurts Bitcoin (even if unfairly).

Wouldn't really suggest blindly following people/influencers on the internet, especially if it's for something like investment advice or technical analysis. They have a tainted reputation of not only shilling scam projects that stole millions of dollars from its investors, but at worst most of them don't even know how to do it, they just throw bullshit jargons that newbies wouldn't understand to give the people a false sense of security that they are with someone knowledgeable, Those youtubers with "Candlestick chart with red circle thumbnails" type of guys, just like what Franky1 said. I suggest you take crash courses on how to learn how to trade instead of relying on these people. It pays to know for yourself which to invest in and which not to without depending on other people, especially shady and clickbaiting people on the internet.

We cannot be sure of the accuracy of the information given on those youtube channels. So you can try something like this. Search youtube on any subject you are curious about and browse through the 4-5 most watched videos. In this way, you will not only be under the influence of certain people, but you can listen to many different opinions. All you have to do is search for whatever you are curious about and watch various videos. I find it wrong to only look at certain sources and act.

There are way too many of them, the advice that I can give is to start watching youtube videos, sooner ot later you will have one or two special TA masters, I don't have one for now but I do watch a lot of them and they aren't always saying the same thing, it shows they are not all professionals, they are based on predictions only, and if it goes their way today it might not the next time.

Be careful on Youtube as many of them are getting paid to promote projects, that's why they are even analysts in the first place, they are looking for many followers so that they can increase their payouts and also have a lot of numbers of followers to use when a call is available.

Now that made me chuckle!  I had that thread in mind when I read franky1's post but I did not expect anyone else to remember it even existed, much less link to it.  Dang, I forgot I actually started it; I thought I recall just going off on a rant in a thread about bitcointalk's YT channel.

But you see what I mean, OP?  There's so much cookie-cutter BS that if you click on one of those videos you're probably just going to listen to some jackass promote his sponsor for 5 minutes and then ape some news story from Coindesk or wherever.  And that's the best case scenario--beware of all the YT morons straight-up trying to scam you.  It's a cesspool.

heres more :

I sometimes think, the youtubers know nothing or very very less about crypto and bitcoins, they are so dumb and newbie watch them like they are the crypto pros.
I start lol when read those newbie's comments.

I was also some time a newbie but not watched these type of videos seriously, I can guess what will going to be discussed in whole video by listening the initial 10sec of the video,

Reading a good books written by a professional is good idea like the Sceptical Chymist said.

Seriously OP, I think Youtube is the absolute worst place to research crypto.  Even if you search for a specific topic, all of the results that pop up are going to be from professional Youtubers who are most likely making their living from ad/sponsorship revenue rather than anything related to cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin videos on Youtube....and a suggestion for our possible BCT channel.

I only follow Youtube channels which have resources to learn technical things. Most of Youtube channels are incentivized by owner intention to make money from it. Their reviews, analyses can be nothing more than sponsored resources and to attract curious watchers, followers in order to increase their total followers and get higher payrate for their videos.

And since franky1 mentioned thumbnails (a personal pet peeve of mine), this is the shit you're going to get over and over:

Everyone is trying to out-hype the next guy, and they can basically only do that through these awful, awful thumbnails--most of which are clickbait anyway.

My advice?  Pick up a book and read it.

Why do I think that you are searching for someone, who is doing to give you financial advise? Grin
Are you searching for Youtubers who will basically say to you "buy now, because bla bla bla..." or  "don't buy now, because bla bla"?
If this is what you are searching for, then I recommend you to stay away from the crypto Youtubers.
If you are serious about studying technical analysis Youtube isn't the right place. Just try to find some cheap online course about technical analysis of the crypto markets on Udemy or some other platform, that offers online courses. I'm sure that there was a way to get Udemy courses for free.

OP, in taking financial decisions, is either you are making those decisions yourself or you have hired a financial expert who can guide you. But if you must know, there is a lot of misleading content on the internet, even on YouTube and other sites. Some of the things you consider crypto investment advice are not even what the adviser is doing. You can get a technical analysis on YouTube, but beware that some YouTubers will only film and show you what you expect to see, which may not be the truth.

I can say that you should follow up on some boards (like Marketplace, Trading Discussion, Legal, Press and economic). You will gradually learn things as a less skilled person, as you mentioned.

I will look at other peoples technical analysis because I don't do any myself. I will not be having a go at any proper technical analysis; I rely on the technical analysis on the appropriate persons who's livelihood is spent and trained doing that.

Hi, I'm looking for YouTube channels to follow for best most popular info and advice on bitcoin/other cryptos regarding market conditions and environment information. I'm also looking for technical analysis and overview and upcoming performance reports and market reports helpful to less skilled people.
I have been following a Youtuber for quite some time already with regards to Bitcoin, and some of the popular cryptocurrencies out there. He's also a good analyst (for me), and he gives advices on both sides always. What I mean is that he is giving advice on what us investors can do when it goes up, and at the same time it goes down. This is the link to his Youtube Channel: LINK

As for a Youtuber who is expert in TA, I don't follow some aside from the one I shared. I don't follow any traders as well at all because I just want to make my own strategy that will work for me. Though I've watched some of the indicators that works most of the time, made some experiments thru the videos that I watched, and tweaked it to the point that it works for me.

Honestly, I don't recommend following youtube for TA. The best way to follow TA is to follow it yourself.

Better learn how it works and train your skills and intuition. Because there are a lot of fake analysts on youtube.

So far on YouTube I am following Millionnaire Investment Secrets, Crypto Banter, InvestAnswers, and CryptoCasey. Do you recommend any or all of those channels, let me know of any more essential ones for vital market info affecting crypto.

Thanks.
You can't get very good ideas from YouTube. But if you need to get ideas then you can ask questions in some section boards of this forum. All YouTube channel ideas may not be beneficial for your future. That's why I suggest you to this forum marketplace, trading discussion, help and bigginner, spelication all these sites you can tell your problems. I hope you get fairly good advice from everyone. That's why I don't think you need to get information from YouTube channel. Hope you stay with the forum and learn best if you have full faith and trust.

If you want to just learn basics learn from these youtube videos then it's not bad thing but if you want it to watch regularly and just follow these youtubers analysis then you will learn less. I will recommend you to give some time to learn basic analysis tool and then apply by self. it will give you lot of experience and you will see practically change in price.

Market not always remain same and for bull and bear market you have to apply different strategy which can understand more better way when you apply TA by self. i am not against these youtubers and for newbie these videos gives lot of learning tool but to become professional start your own work and see result.

For me, since you mentioned Technical Analysis (TA).
I can suggest is to find a real trader,  a YouTuber that doesn't promote any shitty projects just for their own benefit.

For example, Crypto Cred and TechnicalRoundup, where are expert traders who also create videos about their analysis, they are doing live videos and live technical analysis on the current market.
On the Crypto Cred channel, you can see a bunch of tutorials on how to do technical analysis.

luckily, I didn't follow anything about the crypto market, because I know it was waste of time and make a headache. before going too far, you must stop it and begin to learn how to keep your Bitcoin safe by following the Bitcoin security youtube channel like @aantonop. I am really sure you will be a millionaire because if you understand Bitcoin so much, you just buy and do not sell it after the price is a million. here, you will be the richest person in the world without headaches following the market.

I'm sure majority here, or those who have experienced already, doesn't care about this so called Youtubers. Heck, some of them doesn't have that experience to provide you good technical analysis and could be just making wild and educated guess like you and me. So if I where you, this is the wrong path when you starts your bitcoin journey.

So can just go around this community, here is a good board: Speculation.

Or this specific board that might open your eyes: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion.

Media influencers which is YouTubers gets you more confused about market and put in a tension of not knowing what to do, have you think how they source their information before they updated on youtube?
They might not be absolutely 100 percent correct due to how they gets their fact and update, while on a technical analysis it's better to study that market yourself and developed the best methods you think will be more beneficial to you than follow someone else TA which might not work correctly for you and may leads you to a great lost.
