This has got to be the most annoying and pointless forum registration/posting requirement I have ever seen.

Hi, I have a mining rig and I came here because my pool has a thread here that has news and what not. But I can't reply to it because I'm a newbie.
I've been mining for a couple of months now and have already misplaced a usb wallet backup that I thought I was being really clever in hiding in my apartment. Hopefully I'll find it when I move next lol.
I also have some ideas bouncing around my head for fun things to do with bitcoins, or more specifically namecoins in real world situations. Other than as a currency that is. I've identified a few threads already going about some topics I've thought about but I also can't reply to them since I'm a newbie.

I came here because I wanted to buy bitcoins without paying the high service fees that the big companies charge. Interac email transfers are a lot cheaper. But I can't post in the correct threads because I'm still at newbie status. I don't really have anything to add to the forums I can post in, so I don't see how to be able to respond to people selling btc.
Can someone promote me so I can reply to for sale threads?

I'm trying to buy a motherboard CPU combo off of the goods forum to use for mining. I have a small mining rig build with 2 5970s and I have met the limitation of my current hardware. I have 2 more 5970s shipping out today and since aapl blew-up yesterday I finally have enough cash to get the motherboard I need to run all 4.

Please get me out of here; I'm mining at 2.4GH/s using Phoenix 2 rc1, and it would be really nice to be able to post on that thread.
I'm a long established forum member & have created this new account along with funded ones on Gox, Intersango & Bitcoinica for a friend, I'd like to hand it over without her needing to go through this newbie vetting so am posting the necessary number of posts, logged in time etc, but would just appreciate being whitelisted as this is becoming an excessively ridiculous troll watch scheme imo & many good contributors are probably being lost from inflicting this on everyone who shows an interest in Bitcoins here, trolls & scammers will just enjoy the culling I imagine so please rethink if this actually does more harm than good to the forum, thanks
