My proof that I know a lot about bitcoins is that I programmed my site on my own which handles bitcoin payments.

I would like to tell everyone about my site and I think the people in the gambling forum will like to see it.

My new site is http://btcmatrix.com and I am looking forward to showing everyone and launching.

Please do consider my request thankyo

Hi,

As of now I don't really have anything too informative to post on the forums, but I do have two amazon.co.uk gift that I'd like to sell. I read the other dudes amazon(.com)-thread and there seems to be demand for other amazon's gift cards too. In the future I will most likely have more of these to sell, and I believe it would be benefitial for everyone if I was allowed to sell there.

Thanks.

I feel I should be whitelisted because I have been a long time bitcoiner and I definitely know a good deal about how it all works.

The reason I need to post is because I am having problems with my mining rig and I need support. I tried asking on #bitcoin-mining, but nobody could help me (so I figured this would be an excellent alternative).

I am also a web developer working on a bitcoin wallet (don't worry, I'm not going to spam about it), so I feel like this gives me a little bit of credibility (I am Matt Bell, you can see the product here: http://angel.co/safebit).

is there a limit to how many times we can whitelist request?
Nope. You can try as many time as you like. However, the reason I'm not approving your request is because you haven't posted anything constructive yet, nor have you indicated that you ever will.

Hi,

I'm using Bitcoins for about 8 months and reading this forum as well. I'm registered here from the beginning of this year. I'd like to be whitelisted because I want to post in the Bitcoin magazine thread.

Thanks!

Hi everyone. I am a researcher in security and cryptography. I recently wrote a paper on using Bitcoin to "carbon-date" messages. It was covered by the New Scientist. The article is being discussed in this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoins-first-industrial-purpose-59956 I am Jeremy Clark from the article.

I wanted to add some clarification to what our protocol does/does not do to that thread but am not authorized to reply there. I hope someone can grant me access to that thread.

I've ordered 1 Icarus device + 2 BFL singles

Nice; Icarus has been getting some good feedback here and there are members here anxiously awaiting a first review of a shipping BFL unit. They've had some delays and setbacks, but it is looking to be a nice design as well.

The only bad point about BFL device is that it can not be used as a DEV Board! It seems their design is kinda closed/optimized for SHA256! For that I find Icarus kinda more valuable though its slower! As you can use Icarus on other projects or you can sell it anytime as a dev board "if you ordered the dev kit 69USD"

Excellent point. The BFL unit will likely appeal mostly to dedicated miners; for FPGA devs/tinkerers the Icarus may be a better bet. Plus, as you say, there will be a larger resale market for Icarus since it can be used for many different things.

You may wish to follow and/or continue discussions here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/1ghs-20w-700-was-500-butterflylabs-is-it-for-real-part-2-53530

OK I will!

Google usually gets me here whenever I search for subjects related to Bitcoin! Your forum helped me a lot at the the time when I was new to Bitcoin! Now I find myself browsing the forum more often than I use to 6 months ago, especially topics related to FPGA mining! I bought a couple of FPGAs that is expected to reach me within 10 days. I would like to be able to participate in the forum by posting reviews about my new FPGAs.

Thank you.

What FPGA did you end up getting? There are a lot of Ztex and Icarus users here ...

Hi guys,

I'm not a spammer - I like trading bitcoin and I plan on only talking in the speculation forum with other speculators.  Could I be whitelisted so that I can post over there?

Thanks!
