I would like to be white listed if at all possible. I have learned a lot on my week lurking here. Not being on the whitelist has already cost me .5 bitcoin.

I entered one of the games...something happened and my wallet address did not show up right, and because of my inability to post I don't have the option to find out what happened to my .5 bitcoin.

I have two pc's mining, and I am active in tradehill, and was active in mtgox. I am sure I can contribute in a positive way to this forum.

Good Morning!

I'd like to take a more active role in the LinuxCoin area (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?board=12.0).

I have a few comments/suggestions to add in as they prepare to go to the 0.2b release.

I'm light enough on Linux that I have a few questions I just don't think get read over here Smiley

Thanks!

I'm a software developer and have known about Bitcoins since the beginning but didn't start mining until earlier this year.  Can I get whitelisted?

I am a computer enthusiast and fellow miner/speculator. I operate a sucessful local computer business and want to offer remote backup services for bitcoin. I'm an active hardocp'er and trader as well.

My local business offers lan gaming which also dubs as my mining pool when gamers aren't gaming. I'm currently running around 1.5ghash.

And Maybe, Just maybe, can we move this along. Maybe, just maybe check this more than once a day?Huh HMMMM, yeah, that would be great!
Sorry, but this whole MtGox thing has left us short moderation staff. That, and we lost Atlas.  Sad

Hello,

I created this account just to answer this post:

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=8677.0

Would appreciate the ability to post it Wink

Thanx,

Exonumia

My reply would have been:

Q: What does it mean in the summary panel when the shares say something like 1000 (150) accepted?
A: That means 1000 shares total were accepted, including 150 in the last hour.

Hello,

I would like to get out of the newbie forum to post on this thread:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=19861.0

I have been running ubuntu and added the above linked script.  I have some feed back for the OP that I would like to add to that thread:

  • For some reason the screens are not automatically showing up.  I have to "screen -r ##" in order to view the miners
  • In a future version it would be great to have a way to set the clocks/mem with "aticonfig --od-setclocks=840,1250 --adapter=all
  • On the same note it would be great to set fans with "aticonfig --pplib-cmd "set fanspeed 0 100"" and ""export DISPLAY=:0.1; aticonfig --pplib-cmd "set fanspeed 0 100", etc for each card

I will add the above to the original thread once I'm giving access.

Thank you for your consideration.

I would like to get out of here, so I can make a thread about a project of mine. It is a liveCD for bitcoin secure transactions.

If you wish to learn more about it please read my website http://kittybomber.com/BitVault

... but most of these jackwagons don't have a clue about electronic, algorithmic, or high frequency trading, or about how the stock and commodity exchanges operate, and reading their posts is killing me inside...

Ha, I feel the same way.  Reading some of the stuff about Mt.Gox rollbacks and such, I'm thinking "does nobody here know about the flash crash?"  Welcome to the world of electronic trading.  Makes the old school trading pits look tame in comparison...

I'd like to respond to http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=17363.msg222941#msg222941.

Actually, this is post #5 for me, so I suppose I'll be able to quit spamming the newbie forums and post my reply there soon in any case...

let see umm reason to get out of here.
I hate my job and need to make some profit with bitcoin so I can get laid off and get on unemployment.
I dont dislike mining through.  I could spend the remaining of my life to be a bit coine miner.
all i have to put up with is heat, noises and thats it.
I traded at mtgox right before they got hacked and now I am trading at tradehill.
I am currently using dwolla to transfer funds in and out of the market.
My only regret is that I didn't get in to mining bitcoins ealier.
Could have become a millioner if I did ealier.

hope this is good enough to get out of the noob section.

Seriously, this is ridiculous. Why do I have to post here, when these issues are minor and i really don't have a ton to offer, when i can be enlightening the rest of the populace about sh!t that matters. I understand that the Newbs were blowing sh!t up, but have you been on the other boards? It's bad, and it always will be with a computer nerd currency. Come On. I didn't need to post when everything was going smoothly, but most of these jackwagons don't have a clue about electronic, algorithmic, or high frequency trading, or about how the stock and commodity exchanges operate, and reading their posts is killing me inside. Seriously, a little part of me dies inside when I can't call B.S. on some of the absolute horse pahooie posted on the other forums. If you don't want to let me out, just let me know and I'll move along...

Thanks,

Just in! Top pharmaceuticals from a trusted ..  oh wait wrong forum!

Novice miner with a new cluster pushing 2Ghash/s, would love to get some tips and share my own.  I'm a programmer by trade, a programmer by hobby, and I just cannot keep my GPUs under 90C!

I'm new to bitcoin but have been pretty active in the Android community, recently contributing much to the Nook Color's custom builds.  I'd be a useful resource to those with questions about Android software, at the very least, but have decent knowledge in many IT areas, as well as several non-IT areas.  For example I just wired two new circuits into my 'server' closet, added a ventilation system, and survived the whole ordeal!  I've got experience dammit!

I also named my rigs Bebop and Rocksteady, and we all know no self-respecting spammer will admit to old school TMNT fandom.

Proof enough?  How about a helping hand?

I am not a robot!

Here's hoping the guy with 2x 6870s doesn't melt his 500W PSU before I can tell him how my similar rigs are pulling 420W at the wall! (Here, if someone else wants to warn him: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=21390.0)

And not to reiterate something that's likely been posted in the 30+ pages I definitely didn't read, but this restriction is kind of silly, it's got to be almost as much work to keep up with these requests as it is to blacklist the spammers..
