Not a big deal, will keep working at it Smiley, but I'd like to be able to post in the forums for support issues.  Been mining for 3 weeks now, trading, and have 3 cards going.  Trying to get a 4th, so I'm going to go post in the newbie section, but I want to be able to hop onto the guiminer and linuxcoin threads if needed.  Thanks,
Mark

I would like to be whitelisted to report an exchanger scam
I dont believe this section is a viable option, as I believe my story needs to be seen via a wider spectrum of visitors.
Thanks

Hello I'd like to get out of the newbie section so that I can discuss new ideas and suggestions to the pools I'm a member of! Smiley

Hey there,

I've been lurking these forums for a pretty long time and signed up as a member more recently. The reason I want to be whitelisted is that I'd like to be able to jump in and ask questions in specific threads without having to start entirely new threads in the newbie section. I could just come up with a few dumb topics to start threads about here but it would be a waste of space. Hopefully my post history is enough to convince you I'm capable of rational thought and will not be a detriment to the quality of conversation elsewhere on these forums.

Many thanks,
-toast

Hey there!

Requesting out of the newbie section so I can discuss a website I am planning on making.
I don't mine yet so I probably am not the most experienced, but I do program and read about bitcoins for a couple of months now.

Hello!  We are developing a brand new Marketplace for buyers and sellers of Bitcoins called Bitcoin Harbor.  We'd like to request access to the forums so we can join the discussion in the Marketplace forum and hopefully get some feedback from the community.  We haven't launched yet, but if you'd like to see our coming soon page, please visit www.bitcoinharbor.com

Thank you for your consideration!

Hi,

I'm more of a lurker than a poster, but ckolivas just came out with a new combined CPU/GPU miner, based on jgarzik's cpuminer (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=21275.20). I would like to share my experiences with it and report a couple of abnormalities I've noticed in the corresponding thread without jumping through the newbie hoops. If you can streamline the process for me, it would be appreciated :-).

Thanks.

I would like an exemption so that I can discuss the recent BTCGuild pool issues (like my negative "confirmed rewards" listing...) in the Pools section.  It could be done here I suppose, but I doubt that I'll get the answers I want in here, and there are already a couple threads going in the Pools section.

I was going to post a solution to the hashrate fluctuations using LinuxCoin mentioned http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=21150.0

As to my Non-Noob status, I'm currently mining 1.5gh/s at Deepbit using 5 5830's, all three running Linuxcoin after using the "freedos flash" solution to change the overclocking values and write custom fan profiles.

Thanks

Whitelist Request:

I would like to be whitelisted because I'm an established member of Bitclockers.com mining pool.
I don't have a degree in Bitcoins so I can't say I know everything there is to know but I have plenty of experience mining and making transactions on MtGox.
I use the name lolcat all around the internet (although the name suggests I am a troll, I am not) so you may recognize me (or someone will) and then you should know I'm not a spammer.
My main intentions for joining this forum are to talk with more people about Bitcoins, promote Bitclockers (without spamming it around), learn a thing or two, and help the community out by being as active of a member I can.

Sincerely,
Lolcat

Long time lurker (and #Bitcoin contributor) just found out I can't reply to posts. I'd like a free pass.

I know this is a bit off topic, but shouldn't this thread be stickied?  This thread and Newbie Restrictions.

They are. Scroll down a bit and you see the highlight color on the thread titles change indicating the regular non-sticky threads

Mr. Wizard, Get Me Out Of Here!

Running two mining machines connected to DeepBit as well as generating coins, both 24x7. One is a dedicated server the other an idle workstation. I'm also a career IT pro and have advanced knowledge of the bitcoin network and functionality, bottom line I can help provide assistance to the n00bz.

I need to get more active in the forums for informational purposes but also for warnings and alerts on the security front.
