Hi.  Could I please be whitelisted. I'd very much like to discuss the recent hack of Mt. Gox and it's potential ramifications on people's faith in Bitcoin.  You can see from my very old Slashdot account that I am not a troll and that there is high likelihood that I understand what bit-coin is and how the technology works.

I would like to be white-listed. I have been mining bitcoins now for over a month using first btcguild and now btcmine. I have read weusecoins.com bitcoin.org forums and followed the bitcoin community as closely as possible. I have visited most of the vendors who accept bitcoins websites, and spread word of the bitcoin movement to friends and family. I have gone from mining using my cpu, to buying a new graphics card and using that for mining. I figured out that remote desktop does not play well with CCC and switched over to logmein. I have been a a lurker for over a month and am now ready to interact with the community. I am by no means your average noob and would like to be able to post.

Thanks,
newbie

I can prove that at least some of the programmers from TradeHill are amateurs.

But I can't post in the main forum since I'm a newbie. I wanted to be a nice person and warn you, but you make me jumps through hoops. If you don't want my input, fine, whatever.

BTW, I "logged" many hours browsing these forums as a Guest (not logged in) in the last months.

I'm programmer with many years of experience and understand how Bitcoin works very good. Already 10 hours logged in!
Mostly I want to post to buy & sell areas, always pm'ing to seller is boring.

I need to post in the discussion of leaked MtGox accounts.

I have a lower userid on this forum than most of the moderators on here.

Howdy Atlas, I need out to contact a specific user who seems knowledgeable about the recent exposure of the MtGox database.  The need is fairly immediate.  Thank you.

I have recently started mining bitcoins, and so far have gained 8BTC. I need out of this "NEWBIE" section in order to post in areas where someone apart of bitcoinmarket.com can possible invite me to trade with them. I only wish to trade on bitcoinmarket.com because they use Paypal. I have another 6870 GPU on its way from Newegg, and I will total around 600Mhash/s. I understand the reason why new users are "newbies" however when I get into anything I am merely a novice, and have read up on the topic a little more than the average "noob" would have.

I really need to be able to get the attention of other non "newbie" users. Pleaswe look over my request to get out of here.

Sincerely,

Gangstarasp

Hi,

I've been reading this forum voraciously since my "enlightenment" - but I've only recently registered.

It's a shame you have to perform this duty of scrutinizing newbies, but thank you for taking it on, just the same.

I don't right now have something that urgently needs to be said. I just know that I frequently do when perusing the posts.

I'd appreciate being whitelisted. I understand BTC. I understand Austrian economics.

If this request is not sufficient, no worries.

All the best.

Hi,

At your convenience please whitelist my account - I have a few real issues on Linuxcoin that I need to address on that board.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm developing a python program for bitcoin market analysis and auto-trading. I've been reading here for a while but I just registered, trying to join the discussion on the Mt. Gox hack/overload today. Please whitelist me. Thanks.

Hello there!
Long time lurker (Dec 2010 or so) and miner. I mine on MtRed, but was also once part of slush's pool. I also have created and posted a number of Bitcoin/Linux-related tools and tutorials on my personal website. I understand the Bitcoin in most senses, and am a huge fan of the system. Trying to explain cryptography, economics, and mathematics to people who have no knowledge of Bitcoin or how it works is a little frustrating sometimes, but we make do.

I am a merchant, and run http://metagnosis.biz - we just started accepting Bitcoin, and I would love to be able to start a thread offering our services. I've made 5 posts, but the 4 hours online thing is a bit harder to get.

I've surfed these forums for much more than 4 hours, and there are really a limited amount of topics in this Newbie forum to comment on. If possible, could I please get a whitelist?

Hi, I would just like to comment to the market crash on mtgox, trying to figure what happened myself.

I have been lurking the forum for a week or so, just nothing to contribute until now Smiley

Please please let me out of jail.  Grin

Yesterday someone posted they wanted to start a new exchange and were looking for input. I joined (after lurking here for a few weeks as a non-member) hoping I would be able to post in that thread, only to find out I'm in newbie spam jail.
