Hi,

i´d like to be whitelisted to post a script for temperature-dependent fanspeed-control with linux i just wrote.

I don´t really see the sense in "spamming" 5 posts in the newbie-section.

Hello, I would like to request to be white listed.

I'm here mainly to really try and fully understand Bitcoins and how they work, and I'd really like to see how this develops. It seems to be one of the first truely widespread digital currencies, and so if this turns out to be a success I'd like to be here to discuss it with other people. Smiley

As well as that, I would like to offer my services to people on the Marketplace, as well as take other people's services.

Could I request to be whitelisted please,

The reason being I am looking to extend my website payment gateways to accept BitCoin so I can offer bitcoin users website hosting and also other services from my website range for bitcoin's, I would like to have access too see if its worth looking into seeing if users would buy one of our services with BitCoin

Warm Regards,

Whitelisting would be very much appreciated. No spamming from me. I just want to come in and do some business.

I registered to see if I could somehow raise a message to Tycho / deepbit miner administrator, as for some reason my static IP is blocked from their service.  I'm mining at Slush's pool instead at the moment.

It would be nice if I could be whitelisted though :-)

Thanks

I would like to join the White List request please.  I'm here on both business and pleasure, and to add to that just the growth of a beautiful thing Smiley  I think a quick check on any and all of my posts can correlate that

Hi,
I joined to post on this topic
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=8091.0

I don't care if i am restricted from that topic but could someone post the following to that topic for me?  I just want to see if it is just my client that is effected.

----------post----------

I have been doing some testing with the build posted on http://bitbills.com/tools.html in particular the binary at http://bitbills.com/bitcoind.tar.gz and discovered what i think is an issue.  These are the steps i performed and the result.  I am just wondering if this has been fixed in a later version, if it is a bug or if it is the way it is meant to be.

Steps.
1. generate a new address and export the private key.
2. delete the wallet.
3. Use another client to send coins to the generated address
4. create a new wallet and import address to verify all coins arrive. (worked)
5. transfer half the coins to another address but leave half the coins on the current address.
6. delete the wallet.
7. create a new wallet and import the private key again.
8. check the number of coins (did not work.  was expecting half to show up but instead the overall balance was 0. The imported address had a balance of 29 and the "" account had a balance of -29.  had 29 coins on the account originally and sent 20 coins on so expected 9 to be left)

Am i misunderstanding how all this works? Just wanted to know because i wanted to use this as a backup system for my coins but i don't want to loose them Smiley

Using testnet for the testing but that should have no effect from my understanding.

I would like to ask Sad Puppy to post his Bitcoin address so I can send him a donation. Just to help him feel a little better about his loss. http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=11104.0

Hello,

I've been lurking on this forum for a bit and requesting to be whitelisted.

Although I found this site while researching bitcoins, and have read voraciously since, my request to be whitelisted, however, is so I may add to an off topic discussion I stumbled across.  Specifically, a user presented an argument that child pornography should be protected by the Constitution's First Amendment, I wanted to add a voice to this dicussion since I thought he/she was making some rather misleading claims.

My contribution would not be related to bitcoins, per se, but rather, I feel, to the bitcoin community who frequent this board in the off topic area.  I felt my background in philosophy and law could provide a valuable perspective to the community.

Cheers!

P.S. I'm not a spammer!  :p

Please let me out ... I found an error in the SHA256 implementation of this FPGA based bitcoin miner, but can't post in his thread:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=9047.0

It leads to "10% rejected shares" ...

All the best,

I really would like to stop being a newbie Wink. Ive been watching bitcoins and my IRL Friend make 100$'s of bucks over the past few months. Ive been trying to mine as well but haven't been getting very far. I wanna setup a small MMORPG Powerleveling Service for Bitcoins. If it gets enough interest I plan to get together a few Hardcore RPG Gamers, and pay them with btc.

I was going to wait till I get a website setup but im guessing it will take you guys a little while to bump me up to jr.member.

Thanks in advance Smiley, Hope to be a great member Tongue

If it's not too trouble, I'd like to be whitelisted so I can post in a local meet up thread.

I'd like to join in and not miss the meetup.

Thank you.

I would like to be white listed. I realize I have hardly any posts, but there is a thread in the marketplace I need to post in. It is for people whose bitcoins have been stolen on Mt. Gox to report the incident and get help from the owner to recover/track them. I have contacted Mt. Gox support to no avail, and this might be the only way I can get help. Thank you.
