Can you please whitelist me. I am new to bit coin but in the past week I have put together a rig with 2x6990's, got it up and running mining solo, I ended up moving to the Eligius pool yesterday. After troubleshooting network problems that I traced to a bad cable modem, and fixing the python startup scripts that were supposedly written for the card and miner. I had never written python before, only Ruby and Rails. I won't post idiotic replies, I pretty much stick to business in these forums.

What's up!

I want to post in the BPM / slush thread because I have written a nice little Mac OS widget people can use to watch their stats. Perhaps I will add individual worker support later. Here's a screenshot:

I was surprised that this hasn't been done to death, apparently!

Now I wish to comment on Luke-Jr's new MaxPPS system in the Eligius thread. Thanks!

I wish to comment on that too.
And I just made five posts where I tried to contribute something Smiley

I registered well over a month ago! You can look at my 2 perfectly legitimate previous posts for reference. Now I wish to comment on Luke-Jr's new MaxPPS system in the Eligius thread. Thanks!

Hi,

please whitelist me. I want to participate in the FPGA open source miner discussion. I have some experience in FPGA verilog design with Altera CycloneII devices. I have been looking for possible FPGA boards readily available in the market for a competetive price and have found this one:
http://www.cesys.biz/epages/61591539.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61591539/Products/C1030-2805

I my opinion with 500K LEs it should offer the same $/MHs (~1$/MHz) ratio as top end graphics cards while consuming much less power. However it is a Xilinx FPGA (that I do not know so well) and I want to discuss this with the members of the above mentioned thread, but cannot due to newby restrictions.

So I just bought The Real Plato a tank of gas for bitcoins and talked to him for about an hour tonight.  I would love to tell the story in his main thread, but I'm just a newbie of course  Wink

Hey there,

i would like to get out of here, it seems to me that to many unqualified posts are spamed across this board section just to get those 50 posts. To be honest i would like to maybe get some help from qualified ppl.

Hi there, i would like out of here for the following reasons:

1. I have read up quite a bit on these forums, and other sources.
2. I have not amassed my 5 hours yet because I am busy working on a difficult course at work, and it doesn't seem to double increment my time for following threads in different windows.. (thus not refreshing steadily over time like I would in one thread researching)
2.a. And i have to keep hammering away at my RelVel and Rules of the road study materials... exams are coming soon.
3. My pool's forum is a forum on this site, and as such I would really like to be able to respond to their posts. (mining for bitcoins.lc); and
4. Pretty please with sugar on top.

Thank you for your time.

I am having technical issues with connecting to slush's pool. The error I am getting is this:
[6/13/11 8:34:14 PM] ERROR: Can't connect to Bitcoin: Bitcoin returned unparsable JSON

So, I need access to the tech support forum so i can figure out why I am seeing this but noone else is.

Start a new topic in the Newbies thread and post some info about your operating system, setup, etc. By the time we figure out what is going on you will likely have enough posts to escape the Newbie subforum. Smiley

Hi I would like access to the forums for several reasons.

1. I have recently invested in mining hardware and want to continue discussing with the community about this.

2. I am trying to get my own company accepting bitcoins.

3. I am working on developing mobile software for pool miners and would like to announce it soon.

I'm fairly new to the community but I support bitcoins 100% and wish to have full community benefits ;-)
