I've been cramming like crazy to come up to speed in the world of cryptocurrencies and I believe that Tron is going to be a big winner. I think it has the potential to reach $5 based on a growing market cap for cyrpto currencies and their plans for their ecosystem.

They claim:
  • To allow users to freely store and or publish and (most importantly) always own their data
  • This will be done a de-centralized environment going head-to-head and undercutting the big boys like Google Play and Apple's app store.
  • They are currently running on the Ethereum backbone but will have their own unique ecosystem in the near future.

I believe $5 is possible.
This project is more like a simple pumping for more investment, that's all. I see absolutely no future development in it and a rise to new heights. Yes, and 5 dollars for shitkoin it's like the ether overtake bitcoin, the same assumption.

Well, if the BTC will cost under $ 100k, it is possible and at the moment it is in its place, before the end of the year, it can and will be able to reach the mark of$1.

I believe $5 is possible.

For this Tron coin, though it was just founded last year 2017 and my opinion is that it may reach $5 but not in 3 years time. It may take a while to attain such goal since it needs to prove the investors that is worth investing for this coin. A basic economic theory that contributes to the rise of any altcoin is that the financial value of anything is reflected in its fair market price, which in turn is a contemplation of supply and demand, the price of a currency is dictated by it's supply. The scarce the altcoin is the more valuable it is. Anyways, everything is possible so just hope for the best to come in the coming years.

Too early to say this and I think it is very difficult for TRX to reach $ 5 in the next 3 years. But I am curious about your statement that they will have their own unique ecosystem in the near future.
I am excited to wait for the new ecosystem and we will see how much it affects to TRX.

Such kind of announcements is a pure crypto populism soreaded by devs aiming to promote their coin and make people think that they still have a chance to be the early investors. In real life no one knows what will happen with BTC price in the next few months (it can be easely seen after looking at the low volume of the Bitcpon futures). Right now during the overpriced growth of the  crypto coins and ICOs it is pretty easy to slightly pump your coin but sooner or later it will stop. Definetely within the next 3 years.

Not going to happen.

As mentioned above, a 100 billion supply would mean a market cap of 500 billion, larger than the entire market cap of all crypto at the moment.
I concur. In three years time? Impossible. In many years, maybe?
Also, the fact that Tron plagiarized their whitepaper and plagiarized their code, suggests the dev team aren't exactly up to the job.
Oh? Did they? Can you provide some links there so others can also see it. That's an interesting scoop.

Here's a link with screenshots showing their whitepaper is plagiarized: https://hackernoon.com/trons-whitepaper-is-copied-plagiarized-cefce74335ce

And here's a link to a massive GitHub thread showing Tron copy-pasting other projects' coding whilst removing their licenses: https://github.com/tronprotocol/java-tron/issues/25

I'm assuming that most people on this site have some programming experience and how many of you have not copied and pasted code before? Knowing how to alter someone's else's code to suit your needs is an art. Why re-invent the wheel?  I've grabbed many a class and function written by someone else and used it as my own. Sometimes I give credit and sometimes I don't.

I'm not going to give up on this project yet. In fact, I plan on investing about $100 on many, many different projects and I believe that some of them are going to pay off big and the net result will be a big profit even considering the many bad investments that I might participate in.

So you see a company steal someone else's code, remove their license from it, pass it off as their own and profit from it, and you don't think that's shady enough to question your investment?

Crypto needs an extended bear market to flush trash coins and naive investors out of the market.

Remember the grand thief of all time, Mark Zuckerberg, how did that work out for him?

yeah, Im invested a little in TRX. However, i agree with the negative inputs. I will be getting rid of it soon. There are much better options in the crypto sphere.

I'm not agree with you, Tron is new coin and the price action is slow ( for me ). They clearly goal but hard work and proof needed to make investor replace their money into the coin and I don't see any worth move they make. Hope is good but your's is too high and not realistic. Sorry, I have different opinion with you but please never lost faith with Tron and try it. Good luck to you.

Oh, and this is an after-thought, let's not forget about the biggest plagiarizer of all time: Mark Zuckerberg! I think that worked out OK for him.

FABA-BREAK THROUGH IN VENTURE CAPITAL MARKET
I think that the TRX will not be able to make such a big value. Because there's 100b Total Supply. If that happens, the TRX will only get 1/4 of the Cryptocurrency market. So, if you are going to make such a capital, you have to leave for another 10 years. Maybe $ 1 would be around by 2020.

I believe it's not possible. More like $0.5 or so. The market is growing but I highly doubt it will reach 40 trillion
