For the very long term investment. Litecoin has so much potential and may soon implement MimbleWimble. But as crypto’s evolve LTC will be great for a means of exchange. Very fast transactions that will replace your current debit card with extremely low fees. that adoption could take more than few years. if you are a long term hodler, in fact most crypto out there will turn to gold if you hold long enough.

However, for the short term or next year there are better investments in the crypto market and I'll advice you not to put all your eggs in one basket. Bitcoin will dominate the market and this trend will continue as BTC gets closer and closer to the Halving, I would stick with BTC for short term. then take a look at some other altcoins, you can find more promising ones, like for example Vechain, TRON or Nano. Take your time, it’s good to be certain what is the best choice.

Litecoin is old tech trying to stay relevant. It is too much risk to invest and hold this coin. I would rather opt for Ethereum or even Ripple rather than Litecoin. LTC is just the testbed for Bitcoin.
Why not? have you seen if some stores are also accepting litecoin right now? As far as i know, the tech doesn't matter a lot as long as it can still be used by so many people to create a transaction in the network. As you can see that so many people are still using litecoin right now, that means if litecoin still becomes an optional payment system for a lot of people.
even you call it a tested chain for bitcoin but why people are still believing in it?

iam so doubt LTC can go huge up, and in the near future. it isnt altseason nowadays. many altcoins are hard to pop

for now, the altcoin session for the pump doesn't exist yet, but when that session has appeared, I'm sure that litecoin is one of the coins that will go up high.  in October last litecoin price rose from $ 49 to $ 63 this month, that's a pretty good addition if we remember that this is not an altcoin session. so far the price of litecoin is at $ 63, and moves slowly to $ 65. if there is a price reduction, the price is likely to reach $ 59. however, if prices recover, I am pretty sure the price of litecoin can approach the price of $ 100.

i just believe that altcoin can go huge up on altseason, which may start in the future

as long as this coin doesnt lose its value, it would go huge up easily in the next altseason

litecoin current price VS bitcoin is about 1 LTC = 0.0067 BTC

who else think litecoin will go up huge in the near future?
Do you have any reason to think that will happen sooner rather than later? Do not take me wrong litecoin is a good coin and it has been trusted for a long time by investors and traders in general, but why it should go up? Why investors are going to decide massively to invest in this coin instead of other more profitable coins like bitcoin or ethereum, if an altcoin season comes then litecoin will go up but the same will happen to the rest of the altcoins in the market and I do not really believe litecoin will be the coin that performs the best when there are better candidates like ETH or BNB.

litecoin is one great currency and former ranked number 3 for long time and theres no doubt that this can return to the higher rank again soon

i never lose my faith on this one,and also for the team who is not stopping to bring progress for LTC.

I believe Litecoin can be bigger than this. it's only a matter of time until that happens, the most important thing is to wait for the bullrun market. and when it starts I'm sure Litecoin will return to ATH and surpass it. now LTC is asleep as other potential coins, buying now is a good choice.
positioning in number 6 is not bad at all compared in first quarter that Litecoin falls to number 8-10 position, this only means the active development that happening inside litecoins team

I don't know about Litecoin politics and development but the previous Litecoin halving before the last one saw the price of LTC rally from the $4 lows. However, this last halving event saw the price dump. So, I don't think it looks good for LTC. I believe the innovation hype made it rally and not the halving of supply.

Despite with the price, LTC transaction speed is good and the transaction fee is cheap.
Also LTC still have future and it also has upcoming halving on 2023. Maybe this coin doesn't have fast growth, but i'm sure this coin will survive until future years. LTC should build a community to bring hype for the people.

So we need to wait for 2023 to see it's potential? and to much expectation has been denied since when halving comes on LTC it didn't show a strong effect and looks like it the fame of LTC maybe fade away since the price changes doesn't burst when that time came. But let see how future brings since I still see LTC as good currency eventhough there's a little upset happened.
If I was an investor for this project, I couldn't afford to wait for too long years before I take my profit gains. That was frustrating as an investor, and probably everybody rants for the return of investment from these coins. Maybe it wasn't just LTC felt this kind of circumstance, but also with other crypto projects who've been still trying to recover their market. Hopefully, the fame of LTC will also regain its popularity, and I think this is a very important factor to consider for these current issues.

Halving events are only part of the equation. Yes, it means the supply of new coins is reduced. But that doesn't say anything about the demand for the coins, especially as most of the coins have been mined already.

If you are a litecoin fan, then you'd be better off trying to increase the ecommerce side of things and the overall use cases for the coin.

Bitcoin is by far a better coin compared to Litecoin.
In fact, bitcoin has no match within the entire altcoins market.
Litecoin is only good if compare it to the likes of other altcoins such as Ripple and Ethereum.
Bitcoin dominates over 67% of the cryptocurrency market for God's sake, tell which altcoin can do that, anyway?

Actually there is more uncertainty in the world of crypto currencies, although there are a number of possibilities that can be used as a reference at the time of the LTC halving day. However, traders / investors are likely to continue to try their luck with halving events and hope to record profits after holding back long enough to sell more LTC while taking into account the benefits that can be obtained to cover their investment capital.
But I believe that litecoin will continue to surprise traders by 2020, especially after Xinxi Wang, one of the founders of Litecoin Foundation and Coinut Exchange, wrote a week ago on Twitter that 'there will be something big' for Litecoin in the near future.
We do not know what will happen in the near future, but it is fitting for us to wait.

I don't believe that will happen. I have lost faith in litecoin ever since the halving event happened. It doesn't even raise prices but also decreases after a while. That shows that there is not much trust for litecoin anymore. Big investors have left.
so I don't want to risk such coins, sooner or later it will die.

although the price does not increase does not mean that LTC will die, LTC altcoin which already has great confidence in investors.
I believe LTC will rise when the altcoin season comes.
the incident of halving does not guarantee an increase especially when the bear market

I think there are many perceptions of the word "huge", what do you mean here is that the price of Litecoin will fly up to 50x or even more than the current price? I think in the near future this is not yet, but for Ethereum maybe it can be realized because from the fundamental side they have many plus points compared to other altcoins. But that does not mean Litecoin has no chance, they still have many opportunities to dominate but not in the near future.
But, looking at the currency position of Litecoin, it think that they are among the coin that is already dominating the market, except what you mean by this statement is that they will lead all currencies including bitcoin which I doubt, but if it is to stand among the main dominant coins, I think that you have a point there already.

Litecoin has a very fantastic technology and they have very fast payment system too, I think that they only need to do more of publicity so that people will continue to acknowledge their presence in the market amidst all these other altcoins that are rising in the market but not having any real use case other than to just deceive lots of investors with all these Ponzi like structures, which they use in deceiving and duping lots of investors.

I am very sure that Litecoin (LTC) will pump high, because LTC is fundamentally very good and with max supply limited to only
around 84 million LTC, which makes the reason LTC has the potential to rise. LTC prices are now experiencing too Although the
increase is not yet great. Plus LTC is a well-known coin which ranks 6th in the coin marketcap making LTC has a large volume.
So there is no reason to doubt the potential of LTC, I estimate LTC will go huge when Entering the alt season which I predict will
start later this year.

litecoin may pump ye, but i dont think that it will go "huge" .. it'll just be a pump and dump with many other alts.
i also think that litecoin will go lower and lower in the top cryptocurrencies list, just because it can not innovate anymore
and other projects do
