Hackers?
HACKERS?
HAAAACKERS???

Security?
Anonymity?
Proof?
Joke?

You are all a bunch of STUPID scared little weak chumps.

Hackers?  NONE.
I just said I have 120 BTC.  No hackers.
No proof?   lol  read my threads, or PM me for a BTC account with proof.  Digital signatures prove it.

You guys are stupid, and weak to be so scared.

Nobody has tried to scam me, and nobody will.
So far I see too many pathetic replies to respond to.
It isnt bad to express their opinions regarding on this because they are just saying the possible things that might happen.Yes you do have hundreds of bitcoin and its our own choice if we do tell it or not in the public as long you do know that you cant be easily hacked by someone then its okay.

I doubt that any one would be sharing real information here as no one wants that others should know how much bitcoins they are holding and people who are saying that they have huge number of bitcoins may be lying as we don't have any proof to cross check the information that they have shared.

Yup who will prefer to give open invitation to hackers by letting them know that how much bitcoins they have in their wallet a person who genuinely have lots of bitcoins will never disclose the reality and those who are posting here are just giving an false information.
No one, we all have to take care our bitcoin as in online there's a lot of hackers who are just watching us. For those who think that bitcoin is safer than bank, maybe they figured out already how to safeguard their bitcoins. It will really hurt if you lose a big amount of bitcoin when you really make a great effort to achieve what you have. I have my dream to be successful in bitcoin because I believe the technology has a great future, so I make sure I will keep my bitcoins safely.

Yes and no one wants to loose their hard earned coins to the scammers and will prefer to save their coins in a cold storage without letting anyone know how much amount of coins they are holding and I think that's the way it should be as no rich person will prefer to disclose his wealth publically and same goes with the users of bitcoins too so its better to keep them safe and cash out when price is much higher.

Anyone sane and still active will never tell publicly how much bitcoin he has if he has a lot. This is a question of security. If you say you have 10 000BTC do not worry that bad willed people will see it and will not let you in peace ! You will then be the target of daily attacks.
Probably those who said that they have that big amount of bitcoin are just making a joke, no one in its clear mind would ever do that. It requires certain intelligence and hard work to raise that amount of bitcoin and you could be very rich already. Rich people are not dumb to do stupid things to brag what you have, there is no need for others to know as there are plenty of hackers online and they are more intelligent that what you expected.

Seriously, demonstrate your honest by being the first to share with proof.

120 is pretty solid but no were near the top. There are guys here that have 1,000s to 10,000s. Guy/Gals that were mining in the earliest days. This is THE Bitcoin Forum, anyone who has been involved in bitcoin since 2009 has (or had) a presence on this forum.

I'm not sure if I have a lot or a little, so I will ask the community first.  Wink

I'm sitting on a good amount.  Wonder if I have more than anyone else, or not.   If nobody has close to my amount I might keep my mouth shut.  lol

Done, posted a pic.
I am from the early days, and the early people SOLD off coin to cover power bills.
I had a liar in PM tell me he is from the early days, to imply he had more than me.
I told him I wasn't impressed.  It's what he has NOW, not 7 years ago.
I can also show empty wallet addresses with transaction history.  Means nothing when empty.

I do not believe there are guys here with 1000s or 10,000s.

i can assure you that there are people with that amount, especially those here who mined in the early stage, where it was easy to do 1000 in one day

you need to look at the most ancient of this forum for this

I can assure you, that unless they have forgotten they had BTC, or lost a password, they have spent it.
I already told you they would have spent it on the power bill during the GPU mining era.
When they had it, 1000 in one day, they correctly viewed it and treated it for what it was worth:  NOT MUCH.
It was spent when and where and how it could be, as it is today.

Even now that it is worth 920, people spend it when they can, get it when they can.
Economics.   When they had 1000 in a day, it was worthless, and spent just the same.
Economics.

if they were someone intelligent, with their 10k+ coin, they would only dump 9k and keep at least 10%

i know that if it was me i would keep at east 50%, because first i don't need all that money, second i would always hold a good amount for the future

what you say it's true in part, i can bet my ass that someone is still holding a large amount, especially those that didn't dump at the 2013 ath, why dumping now when the price is lower?

if somebody has the most bitcoin then we will be the richest person among us and i don't think that s/he will show in front of public. he can use the bitcoin for many things or still keeping bitcoin for the rest and wait for good timing to sell.

I think Satoshi is the person having most of the bitcoins and the top 500 bitcoin wallets have 50% of bitcoin than rest of the wallets but there is no way to identify the real faces behind those wallets. I think those who have most of the bitcoins are usually miners and then traders. We can trace the rich wallets but not rich bitcoin holders.
Nobody asked about real faces behind wallets.  That would be a pointless thread.

Not asking to trace.   Asking people to brag if they are a whale wallet holder.

Yes no one wants to know the real identities behind bitcoin wallets but having geographical, age, gender related data would help bitcoin startups to reach more people and to learn more about behavior of the bitcoin users. I think we should have some universal data of the user base in order to help bitcoin awareness.

I do not think anyone here is going to give you a clear answer. For example, if someone asks you the following question: You how much money you have on your bank account? Nobody tells the money in the bank account to anyone else. It's like money on a Bitcoin bank account.
That is totally different when it comes to Bitcointalk. Here, you are completely anonymous and no one knows who you actually are. Sharing your Bitcoin address and letting other people know how much Bitcoin you have doesn't do any harm. That is the way I see it.

In real life, no one is going to ask that question in the first place, if someone ever does, you would have to be even more stupid than them to answer it. Really, no one is that dumb.

This is real life, and I just posted.
Why is that stupid?
Still anonymous.
