Whoever would endanger oneself by telling about owning a large number of crypto funds? This is ridiculous. There is no reason to build an assumption of who these bitcoin addresses belong to because one person can have as much bitcoin addresses as he/she wishes. I don’t think that Satoshi Nakamoto who is a creator of bitcoin and the biggest holder of bitcoins (around 1 million) would store it in one address. The bitcoin address with the biggest amount of bitcoins (almost 123k) may belong to crypto exchange. If it performs numerous transactions, then it’s very likely. Furthermore, we know about bitcoin millionaires among some public personalities like Winklevoss brothers, Michael Novogratz, and others however, most investors prefer not to disclose their investments. I think there are many not public grey cardinals with substantial amounts of bitcoins on multiple addresses we have no idea about.

I'm pretty sure anyone here or anywhere that holds thousands of bitcoins prefer to not expose themselves. That's pretty much just like asking to be kidnapped or to be targeted by hackers.
I agree, those who holds thousands of bitcoin never tell to anyone or expose him/her coins just to make it private and be safe to those bad guys especially hackers out there. Hackers are very popular with this kind of activity so it is safer to be quiet than to expose what you have.

That is right. They better to keep silent and not tell how many bitcoin they have or how much money they have. The thief is on everywhere, and we don't know who are they, and we need to keep by ourselves on our money. The hacker will always search on the next target, and once they found one target, they will do anything to steal the money from the owner.

I am sure that many people are bitcoin millionaire, some of them already sold their bitcoin in 2017 ago and still save the other amount of bitcoin and waiting for the next bull market. And the other still keep the most bitcoin in their wallet and not selling for a long time. If you can be one of the bitcoin millionaires, then you should always protect your wallet and don't tell anyone about bitcoin.

These guys put together a nice list of the top 100 (known) crypto millionaires and what they've done to acquire that status Smiley

https://cryptotradernews.com/millionaires

Strange that this list is not have Tom Lee, he's making very optimistic and exaggerated predictions that I thought he'd taken all his money and bought bitcoin. But from what I see he just makes exaggerated predictions and did not buy too many bitcoin. something very strange coming from someone very optimistic about the future of bitcoin

They just need to do 1 sell/buy and everything goes to hell, or other way around.

This is a big problem

Almost half a million of BTC in the circulation belongs from 4 addresses or let's say 4 holders only? That was insane Shocked! For sure they are now sitting on front of their PCs and watching their money to rise while on the other hand I'm hodling few fractions, feel scared of the market's fluctuations and thinking whether I could get profits or not (I know most of you can relate).

Those big investors out there are surely called "whales" because of their strong influence. Also, I think they are the early adopters of btc, there's no doubt about it. I wish i could become a btc millionaire someday (well, dreaming is free lol).

Grin Agree, one of the main reasons why people loved bitcoin decentralization is due to anonymity. Crypto millionaires feel secured because they can store as much as they can without getting their identity disclosed.

There was a case here in our country were a woman involved in crytocurrency got robbed at home and killed, which I think happened last 2017.

That is why it is best to remain anonymous even if you are just holding a decent amount of bitcoin, for your own safety.

Though Bitcoin wallet and transactions are actually available to everyone's scrutiny...owners can remain anonymous if nothing can connect them to the accounts. Once there is the connection then certainly the address can anymore be anonymous and this is why many are calling Bitcoin not really private. With so much sophisticated tracking technology we already have in the market, it is good to be always careful at all times. Thieves are getting to be intelligent and there are people with genius minds who are choosing to trudge the dark side in using their talents and knowledge.

Who is a Bitcoin millionaire is one who never thought that some day Bitcoin will have good value as of today and more future to come. Is really a great opportunity to get hold of bitcoin now because in more 5 years to come (on my own analysis) it will be more Greater than this.

In terms of bitcoin millionaire i think only one person has more than 1M bitcoins and that person is satoshi nakamoto, we could say he is the only bitcoin millionaire in the world, i don't sink someone holds more than 1 million btc, even big business like poloniex have less than that amount,

Considering the current state of the crypto ecosystem, people are concern about protecting their digital asset rather than making the amount of Bitcoin in their wallet known to the general public.  The crypto space currently is not really safe to show the amount of Bitcoin you have in your  wallet. A bitcoin millionaire is some one who gained about 90% of the total number of Bitcoin through either mining or trading and his/her bitcoin which can be estimated about 1000 worth of Bitcoin in his/her wallet.

Why would you want to know who owns those Bitcoins, this is none of anybody's business, Bitcoin was created to be anonymous by an anonymous man and we tend to keep it this way. At first I doubt that my identity will be hidden forever in bitcoin but guess what, I’m wrong and bitcoin is very secured because you don’t have to put your information there just to use it. I’m using bitcoin in my everyday life, primarily on gaming.

Maybe everyone can identify a wallet that is not from the market ?

It is difficult to identify it all, because of the basis of its anonymity. We can only know just a bitcoin address no more. Maybe the large number of wallet holders of bitcoin can be exchanges, investors or Sathosi Nakamoto or a member of Bitcointalk.

And why should we be interested in knowing who owns wallets containing thousands of btc? And right those addresses will remain anonymous to us and pretty much everybody. If i'm holding that much btc, i'd be smart enough not to risk my life and my loved ones by disclosing my identity. What do you even get from that anyway?

Bitcoin millionaires "society" consists of two groups. The first one is the guys, who bought a lot of BTC when this crypto was cheap. The second group is the largest rich investors.

I think we also have so many wealthy person that is anonymous from the media.
We all know the names of the big people in the crypto industry,
But what about the people who are still anonymous to us and could line up to their wealth?

Many crypto billionaires and millionaires spread their btc among many different addresses so they won't appear on any of these blockchain rich lists.

Satoshi is regarded as the biggest bitcoin holder with an estimated 1 million bitcoins from the early mining days.

Maybe they are owned by the exchanges, but whoever owned those wallets are none of our business, even if I owned that wallet I would not shout that I owned any of those wallets, it's not safe to post what's in your wallet and your true identity, you can become a target, banks don't so that and since you are your own bank do everything to protect your asset and your identity.

I have seen that information from the website you attached, 125,804.90 Bitcoin (BTC) is the highest number of bitcoin held by 1 address. I don't think it's spectacular, because I'm sure many people have more than that but they don't hold it in one wallet

With this big amount no one can identify on which wallets are from the markets and which one are not, it is possible that these people are the one who has a deep knowledge about bitcoins if not them maybe their right hand, who has some enormous amount of skills when it comes to crypto currencies so that they can protect their master's assets.
