Huge money in that list, whoever owns that are living like a king already.
Some of them are exchanges wallet but majority of them are unknown, probably they are also the whales in the market
and their big holders can move the market and therefore they can play with it.

They have some people who I know they became millionaire because of the bitcoin and other is not because the only we see is the wallet their balance and we don't know their true Identity. They have few people who are now billionaire because they invested a lot of money in the year 2009 and still have patient so their have good result which is a lot of money.

I'm pretty sure anyone here or anywhere that holds thousands of bitcoins prefer to not expose themselves. That's pretty much just like asking to be kidnapped or to be targeted by hackers.

I was sure of this too until I read the news last year about some Bitcoin millionaire who bragged about it. Well, people robbed him and took all his wallet coins. Don't know what they did but I guess most people if tortured would give up their private keys. I know if someone even breaks my finger I'll give everything! So yeah, maybe just best to hide that you own Bitcoin, especially if it's a lot.

Why would you want anyone trace who owns those Bitcoins, this is none of anybody's business, Bitcoin was created to be anonymous and we should respect people not to tell how many Bitcoin does he has. If I am the owner of those Bitcoin, I will not boast my wealth to anybody.

if investors who have a lot of bitcoin obviously will not expose themselves, but if you want to see the owners of thousands and even hundreds of thousands of bitcoins, you just see exchangers like binance, hitbtc, poloniex, idex, btc-alpha.

True and maybe this is why Satoshi doesn't want to reveal his/their true identity.
He/They doesn't want to put his/their family in danger .
Some of those who become wealthy by crypto wants to keep it to theirself and doesn't want to brag about they want to remain low profile for their own safety.

Anyone with thousands of BTC vaulted in somewhere safe, probably anonymous as hackers are trying hard to identify such low profile people with millions worth of assets. Some had already make big businesses or simply generating passive income simply by owning it. Unless public needs nobody speaks about their fortune honestly.

They are using the anonymity of course.

These people or maybe a group of people will not be that easily known since we can't just track their wallets that easily. If people can track or locate these wallets, I think they will be in danger the same as that person that is beaten up in front of his child. Just imagine being a cryptocurrency millionaire and being tracked by the people that kill people for money.

It's just bitcoin addresses, no name is attached to it so it will be hard to identify them eventhough everything is on the blockchain. So there's no need to exert efforts to find them. And purpose does it served though? After you have find at least one? Go after them? No crypto investors with huge amount of bitcoin will exposed themselves in public maybe some few notable persons. Are you will to tell anyone out there that you have own millions worth of bitcoin?

the real question that you should be answering first before asking your own question is "what difference does it make?"
since bitcoin price has gone up from practically being worth zero to a huge value ($20k at some point) there obviously are some bitcoin millionaires who started accumulating bitcoin in early days that it was worth nothing and have made a big profit but in the end knowing who they are and how much they own doesn't change anything for you so asking this question here doesn't make any sense unless you have a particular reason which is why I demanded that question.

A blockchain account that holds bitcoin, the first and most famous cryptocurrency, this is a wallet with fantastic value https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html

Maybe everyone can identify a wallet that is not from the market ?

Charts like that does not show the true ownership of individual Bitcoin owners. People with loads of coins "hide" their coins in MANY smaller amounts on different Bitcoin addresses. Some people store coins on hardware wallets and also in cold storage on paper wallets. Before they deposit coins onto these devices or cold storage, they prefer to push it through Mixer services, so nobody can link these coins back to a single individual.  Wink

So what you see there are mostly cold storage of large exchanges and wallet providers and not individual Bitcoin holders.  Wink

but seriously, no one will admit they even have more than 10 bitcoin ...IRS/FED is the keyword   Grin
That is not entirely true. Some people actually had the guts to expose themselves even though they were aware of the risks involved like:

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/jun/13/meet-erik-finman-the-teenage-bitcoin-millionaire

Most people though prefer to stay anonymous which is the preferred way indeed.

We cannot actually go and see how much amount is there in a person's wallet , only a few people come out in the open about how much money they have in terms of Bitcoins , it's still better than being in the public eye and being targeted by someone , the whole thing is supposed to be hidden also in some countries they would even have to pay taxes regarding that , therefore I don't think we can just find out , only few public celebs , some people who were made famous by the internet are in the limelight , besides hackers are a big threat , literally very big , they can easily steal your Bitcoins once you give them just 1% information.
Sadly we cannot pin point it

I wonder why you like to know? Where's the essence of anonymity  which is one of core characteristic of bitcoin dude if you will know who's the owner of that wallet! It's like saying, you know who's Satoshi...lol

but seriously, no one will admit they even have more than 10 bitcoin ...IRS/FED is the keyword   Grin

A blockchain account that holds bitcoin,
there is no such thing as "blockchain accounts", the concept of account doesn't even exist in bitcoin.

Quote
these aren't "wallets" these are addresses and almost all of them belong to services which are mainly exchanges.
those individuals who own large amounts of bitcoin rarely hold them in one place because that can make them a target.

Grin Agree, one of the main reasons why people loved bitcoin decentralization is due to anonymity. Crypto millionaires feel secured because they can store as much as they can without getting their identity disclosed.

There was a case here in our country were a woman involved in crytocurrency got robbed at home and killed, which I think happened last 2017.

That is why it is best to remain anonymous even if you are just holding a decent amount of bitcoin, for your own safety.

There are some of thee people who are holding bitcoin that is more then the published wallet balance put together and those are the real bitcoin billionaire's, what we must understand is that bitcoin respect privacy and at that most big holders of the coin are unknown and operate in they privacy.
