This still makes me cringe, as it wasn't that long ago.  That's what I'll be doing, cringing.  And I might order a pizza too but I'll be paying for it in fiat because there's still no one around who accepts bitcoin for pizza six years later.
Now there's a web that accepts bitcoin to order your pizza (http://pizzaforcoins.com/) That's pretty legit web to buy your pizza .

But yes. 10000 BTC is litteraly almost $7 million . Wonder what that guy thinking now about his transaction lol.
Even today if we spend 0.01 btc to buy pizza, who knows how much would it be in future but that doesn't stop us from spending bitcoin.I hope that guy had lot more than 10,000 that he spent on pizza

I was going to order a pizza, and that would count as "doing something", since for me it's pretty special since I follow a pretty clean diet (nothing fancy, but I never order stuff) so a pizza would make it for me, and that's all, but I didn't even end up ordering a pizza, so it was a regular day.

Awesome bitcoin pizza pics, guys and gals!

I didn't realize it was bitcoin pizza day yesterday, which happens to be my nephew's birthday. So I guess I kinda celebrated it sans any bitcoin or pizza being involved. But later that night, my usual routine included playing bitcoin poker online, so there's that.

I was kind of late to celebrate this pizza day because instead of having pizza yesterday, we had one today.

Good thing is that I made it myself with the help of a friend who knows how to make pizza. He really didn't do much though except laughing at me for a lot of times.

Thanks Litecoinguy!

I dropped the ball on generating excitement this year...

My brothers work at a pizza shop, but had a rock concert this past Sunday.

We'll see if they are available for me to cook something cook up for the 7th year anniversary of our first bitcoin transaction!

Who is doing something on Bitcoin Pizza Day? May 22nd, 2016?

Bought on 22nd May 2010 by Laszlo Hanyecz, the programmer paid a fellow Bitcoin Talk forum user 10,000 BTC for two Papa John’s pizzas. Back then – when the technology was just over a year old – that equated to roughly $25, but is [alot more] by today’s exchange rate.

Bitcoin Pizza Day returns with Papa John’s, Ronald McDonald House

It’s been six years since the first exchange of bitcoin for Papa John’s pizza took place over the Internet. To celebrate the Bitcoin Pizza Day this year, the NY Bitcoin Group has teamed up with the nationwide pizza chain and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region (RMHC). Starting May 16th, Papa John’s pizza slices can be bought for children and families at the RMHC using bitcoin.

I actually didn't know that day was a "thing".  I had heard the story of the most expensive pizza but I did not realize that people still recognized it.  I know I just missed it, but in the future, maybe we should all find a pizza restaurant that accepts bitcoin and buy pizza that day.

pizza only in big cities in my city did not provide pizza so I did not buy a pizza that day. and moreover there are no stores that accept bitcoin. so if I had to buy pizza then I have to convert my bitcoin to fiat

A very nice coin indeed! Where in the world laszlo be now? Maybe right now he is thinking about this event where he bought a pizza for an epic price of $4,429,100.
Bitcoin price fluctuation is awesome! from a dollar pizza to million dollars pizza!
