Well I guess Curry will be MVP for this yr NBA 2019.
But if toronto Raptors win I choose Leonard for MVP.
Ley just wait and see for the result.

Raptors won the NBA finals and Leonard was declared as the Finals MVP.. congratulations to those who pick Leonard as their Finals MVP.

I think I need to lock this thread as it already served its purpose.

Game 3 is over and Kahwi put up another solid performance in their second win. With KD still ruled out for the next game, it looks like we're having a better picture now.

Yes. After game 3, I thought Curry edges Green now for the Finals MVP race. Kahwi is equally deserving as well.
If Raptors win in 5 or 6 games, Kahwi should get the MVP.

I'm gonna give it up for Curry to win the NBA Finals MVP, If he keeps up with his performance, even if the Raptors should eventually win the series he'd still beat Kawhi to the Trophy, IMO.

As for Kawhi, he's performance remains impeccable, and it'd be well deserved too if he wins it. I can't see any other player winning ahead of those two.

We'll have a better picture after Games 3 and 4. It's most likely Kahwi for the Raptors and Green for the Warriors.

KD was ruled out, but Klay is available, Warriors will play better compared to game 3 as they have one of the starters back in game 4.
If warriors wins tomorrow, the competition for the MVP between Curry and Kawhi is still close as they might both win the home court in game 5 and 6 and we will have game 7 in Toronto. I believe, this is likely what's going to happen as both teams always bounce back after a loss.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Finals MVP has only gone to someone on the losing team one time.  I know Lebron almost got it a few years back on the losing team but you have to do something truly spectacular for that to happen again.
This is what I know too. That's why I said "usually".

Not locking this thread, let's continue to discuss who shall win as the series is still alive, who knows we see some good value after game 3, then we will bet again.

Did you even realize that odds will be way more lowered while the game is progressing?

It was not lowered, the odds now for Curry has increase to 1.90, while for Leonard it was down to 1.95, these two players are probably the best choices to win the NBA finals MVP. If the Warriors will win game 4, probably back to the odds I shared first, but for the Warriors and Curry's fan, this is the value I am talking about.

Also, if you guys want to take the series bet, odds are both 1.90 to whoever win the series.

For those who like to bet on the Finals MVP and series bet, line is up at sportsbet.

All names in the list is very capable to become NBA MVP my bet is Stephen Curry he is very aggressive player to bring their team in to the champion.

I will still go for Curry, he's that good for me that I can't look into other players, although they are all suited candidates. He is just capable of leading the team to new heights, you can't find a team like warriors with curry pushing them towards the dream.

Did you even realize that odds will be way more lowered while the game is progressing?

Game 4 is coming and obviously, it's now down to Curry and Leonard as they have the most impressive stats from Game 1 to 3 and will surely increase more in the following games. Even Draymond Green, Iggy, Lowry, Siakam will produce 50 points next game, it won't change the possible Finals MVP candidates since aside from the obvious reason that it will not happen, just add that there will be surely contributions too from Leonard and Curry. Again, Finals MVP are stats gained from Finals Game 1 to where to it will end.

There is no reason now for this thread to exist. Take a look at some replies, not even close to what the topic is all about. You can all discuss this in the NBA thread instead.

I want to add more bet on who's going to be MVP in the finals but i can't since the betting for MVP is gone on Sportsbet. What sports book offer such betting do you know?

Come back another day or check it regularly.

As usual in every after game, betting will be closed and will come back later. Not just in Sportsbet but for other sports betting site as well.

Stephen Curry will always be my first and last choice when it comes to MVP as he's one of the best 3-pointers and easy-peasy 2 point throwers of NBA, one of the best dodgers and defenders of each and every season, a pro-active player who's having the ability to turn a lost match into a win any moment he starts throwing his 3s. I love this player as he is the definition of basketball for me.

Ofcourse I put my bet on Steph Curry

Because he is the only one that got the title of a six-time NBA All-Star, he has been named the NBA Most Valuable Player twice and won three NBA championships. So, thats why he is my idol and always support him.

Well, I think it would be Steph Curry. Just in their game today, he made a score of 43 points and that, as far as I can remember, was on 3rd quarter. (Just correct me if I'm wrong here.) Then the rest of the team scored 46 in total also around that quarter.

He is putting up crazy numbers for sure since he's carrying the Warriors with all those injuries. Kahwi is making another strong case for the finals MVP though. Another solid performance from him.

The Finals MVP award usually goes to the winning team. I believe Raptors will win this year and there's no other man in that line up that deserves the MVP than Leonard.

My choice is between Leonard and Curry.

To someone who has good stats lurking with the players, is KD still viable to get the finals MVP? it will be his third finals MVP if he's going to get it but with his conditions I don't he's still on the lead to this race.
Well Leonard has to improve his skills to beat the standing points of curry, either way he cannot do it for sure lol
Leonard still has big chances in case he has the same performance in the remaining matches as he had in match 2. He scored 34 points ,along with 13 rebounds and he was overall better than Curry in that match. Both Curry and Leonard are obviously the leaders of their teams and we shall see some great performance from both in the next coming games but keep in mind that KD will be back in he 3 or 4 and then the whole attention from Golden State will move on him
But of course we can’t tell what’s the real score since we are still have more games to compete ,though you are right on that as I have check the stats now,Leonard really did a great game in matches 2 and beating curry on that one
Yet we know Stephen Curry’s capacity to return on track ,let’s see what happen when the game resume and go to the home court of Golden states warriors

Hi fellas, I need your opinion on who will win this year's NBA Finals MVP.

Here are the odds from sportsbet

Curry 1.55 - Leonard 3.50- D. Green 6.50 - Thompson 25 - Durant 30 - Pascal 35

I am going to put my bet before game 3, and I was thinking of putting my bet on D. Green to win the Finals MVP.

Who's your pick and why?

Same goes with me. The way D Green played in this series, I am very convinced that if they win the championships he would be the finals mvp. Maybe it's too early to say but it was obvious that they would pull this through. Anyways if the raptors will make an upset, it would be Kawhi that will be the mvp.

I'm rooting for Curry, he is the new Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, he is the Warrior's go-to guy when clutch time, we only have two games in the finals, but in the succeeding games he will take over and give the championship to the Warriors, just like what he did in the past.
