The Finals MVP award usually goes to the winning team. I believe Raptors will win this year and there's no other man in that line up that deserves the MVP than Leonard.

Two obvious candidates, Leonard and Curry. But then again, Iggy proved that he can rise to the occasions and be an MVP again. That last shot in last game proved that he can do it. Also, I don't know that statistics about it, but usually the MVP should come from the winning team, so it GSW win, then Curry or Iggy or Green can get it, if Toronto wins then it will be Kawhi Leonard.

The candidates is obvious,Leonard and Curry is the best of their team.So the battle for mvp is just between them for me either one of the two will get,Yes Klay has a chance but not as big as those 2 ive mentioned.Leonard and Curryc is the one showing more potential to be the finals mvp this year so we just wait till the end.

Just bet on Dreymond Green 5.50 to be the MVP on this Finals since he contributed a lot on the two games, one assist shy of having a triple double in game 2.

They been saying this "Offense wins games, defense wins Championships" so with this i think Dreymond Green is the most likely to be MVP if he continue to limit Siakam which for me is the biggest factor why Raptors have a chance to steal the Larry O'Brien trophy.

According to this site, Stephen Curry is on the first list from all of the voters, so I think I will choose him too Grin
Although I am not too often to watch NBA sports, I think that will be interesting to know who will be the winner.
From the other site, I see that Stephen Curry have a big chance to win and I see that many people have voted him.
But let's watch the game, so we know who will be the winner.
This is a very helpful link appreciate you for posting this

If I am not mistaken it is often the MVP winner comes from the team who ins the trophy
1.55 on Curry is good value if you think GS Warriors will win which I think so

Not because Curry is the favorite, he will be the finals MVP.

First of all, FINALS MVP only includes FINALS STATS and not the Playoffs stats. Therefore in the span of the maximum 7 games, there are other players that might surprise us in the end. Remember when Igoudala makes his first FINALS MVP?

And lastly and more importantly, for Curry or Igoudala or D. Green or for other Warriors to win MVP, they need to become a champion first.

Now with Toronto, Game 1 seems belong to Paskal Siakam. If that performance will maintain (although he was being limited in Game 2), there is a chance that he will become the Finals MVP even obviously Kawhi Leonard does have an impressive performance throughout the playoffs. And there are other Raptors players who might have chances.

And again, lastly and more importantly, Raptors need to acquire the Larry O' Brien first before that will happen.

The series is unpredictable and even how well analysis here is, it can't increase your chances. The finals are not between the few superstars anymore as backup players are now stepping up each game.

Yours to decide if you want to play your money on a @1.5 odds for Curry or @6 for D. Green. Analyzed the stats from Game 1 to 2. Goodluck.

I do love D. Green way back when he’s still on the Spurs but this season, GSW really have the advantage to take home the crown. I would like to see Thompson to become the MVP because he’s doing a great job ever since and we can expect that we will do everything to help the team, Curry is given to be good and KD so those are the big three to watch for.
Thompson has the abilities necessary to become an MVP but it's unlikely to see him winning that award because his performance is fluctuating a lot from match to match. One day he scores 30+,next day under 20. The odds of him winning the MVP are 25 and that says  it all about his chances. Anyway, it's still a good player to watch because he needs to start scoring more since KD is still missing.

My choice is between Leonard and Curry.

To someone who has good stats lurking with the players, is KD still viable to get the finals MVP? it will be his third finals MVP if he's going to get it but with his conditions I don't he's still on the lead to this race.
Yes for sure Stephen Currey if Golden State win the finals because he have all like base in his strategy, shooting and passing then with many points in a game of course he's going to MVP

Then in Raptors i think Leonard and in 2014 he already go with MVP but i'm not sure another thing he is the one only that can make a lot of points like in their whole team so bet in Kawhi OP

I am also a GSW fan so I think I will be biased with my pick since I am a huge fan of most players of the Golden State Warriors, And most of the pick I have seen so far were all with Curry and an article that he might have a huge vote because he is a favorite among the group, But apart from Stephen Curry I really think that DeMarcus Cousins had a huge contribution with the second game of the finals against the Toronto Raptors with an incredible performance of defense and giving his best so the points will not go much further so I might say his addition for the team has a big impact,

And If I would pick any player on the Raptors side I might go with Pascal Siakam in scoring a remarkable game in the first game.

Well Leonard has to improve his skills to beat the standing points of curry, either way he cannot do it for sure lol
Leonard still has big chances in case he has the same performance in the remaining matches as he had in match 2. He scored 34 points ,along with 13 rebounds and he was overall better than Curry in that match. Both Curry and Leonard are obviously the leaders of their teams and we shall see some great performance from both in the next coming games but keep in mind that KD will be back in he 3 or 4 and then the whole attention from Golden State will move on him
Leonard is a sure win, but that is only possible if they can upset the Warriors in this series.
Raptors to win the NBA Finals and Leonard as Finals MVP, that would be a great news in the world of sports, but they have lesser chances now based on the betting odds.

We can check the stats in the last 2 games and see which player deserves the win, and here's the result based on my manual calculation (let me know if there's an error)

Stephen curry - points ave.- 28.5 assist ave - 4.5 rebounds ave - 4

Draymond Green- points ave 13.5  assist ave -9.5 rebounds ave - 10

By the way, you can check this criteria in deciding the NBA Finals MVP - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Russell_NBA_Finals_Most_Valuable_Player_Award

Remember that it's not only about the scoring or the stats, but mostly on his contribution to the team.
Last 2015 NBA Finals, Andre Iguodala won the finals MVP with an average of 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists for the series.
The stats was not impressive, therefore Green has a chance to win his first MVP award here as his average is almost triple double.

Hi fellas, I need your opinion on who will win this year's NBA Finals MVP.

Here are the odds from sportsbet

Curry 1.55 - Leonard 3.50- D. Green 6.50 - Thompson 25 - Durant 30 - Pascal 35

I am going to put my bet before game 3, and I was thinking of putting my bet on D. Green to win the Finals MVP.

Who's your pick and why?
No other than Stephen Curry and that’s a 100% sure for me.

Obviously am biased since I am a big Fan of GSW and I hate the presence of Kevin Durant there, the Golden State Warriors can win a championship without him

My choice is between Leonard and Curry.

To someone who has good stats lurking with the players, is KD still viable to get the finals MVP? it will be his third finals MVP if he's going to get it but with his conditions I don't he's still on the lead to this race.

Stephen Curry is still best and Im really sure he is going to be MVP for the year 2019 one of the best and I like to him is he is 3 point shooter and mostly those are always shoot.  But still unknown which among of them are going to become MVP. But what ever the resul atleast all players this year do their best to enjoy their fans in the whole world.

Obviously Curry is the big favorite here because he has the best stats so far when talking about points and assists and he's also appeared in 4 finals before winning 3 championships but still didn't managed to win a Final MVP award even though he has broken record after record during regular season. Honestly I would choose between him and Leonard and it's all going to depend on their performances in the next games. I think Leonard still has a good chance at winning it if he comes back with a great performance in game 3 but Curry knows this is his year especially because KD ,who's won the last 2 times, is missing for this final. Anyway, there's still a lot to be played and all 3 have more than enough time to prove they deserve the Finals MVP
