Well I don't know what you may classify him or her but I know Ratimov is knowledgeable enough and also a reputable member in the forum who doesn't compromise himself with any ill activity, and not only that he is a generous giver and I know few of them that are very free with their merits not because your post were most worthy but as a lifting hand to make you enjoy the new breeze of a Hero member. Then talking of those you said that refuse to merits you, well, I will suggest you don't take it into heart because if you were in that same shoe you might or may act the same why because there are lot of people queuing up for meriting their post and for review, also I strongly believe your request went to the person when he is not on a good mood, most times it happens to me at home.

Thank you, I accept your congratulations but I don't think I can become a legendary rank member because I do not recieve merits quickly because I love to post in gambling discussion and merits don't fall there.

But you should be more optimistic about reaching the rank of legendary. If you feel that you do not have the ability to reach, you will never reach it. On the contrary, you have to believe that you can reach and put this goal before your eyes to give you a greater incentive to provide good things to reach your goal.

This isn't the first time Ratimov has helped users so close to his rank, I'm sure you are not the last user it will help. As I know, Ratimov has sent 24,173 sMerits to 1978 users and hence he has been named the 9th most generous merit source so far.

I don't think I can become a legendary rank member because I do not recieve merits quickly because I love to post in gambling discussion and merits don't fall there.
You can always earn merit on any board as long as you have high quality posts. Even if not many merit sources are present there, but if you feel your post deserves to be reviewed by merit sources especially for its quality, then report them in this thread:[self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source
After all, you are not required to post everything on the gambling board by the terms of the campaign, so share more of your posts on the board you think are better and have the highest potential for merit.

Everyone has their own version of what a merit-worthy post should be. If one person doesn’t like your post or your style of posting, others just may appreciate it. It seems Ratimov was on a merits spree today and you’re one of the lucky beneficiaries. It’s not surprising to me, accounts from my era are very familiar with Ratimov’s generosity, we have all been received merits to rank up at one point or the other. It's time to get used to the fact that Ratimov is a local Santa. He does not necessarily distribute gifts on the New Year; now it happens in the first days of spring. I doubt that Ratimov has some unique abilities to cover all the information on the forum; I think it's not worth it. It is enough to check the number of his reports to make sure that he is always present on the forum.
