Bitcoin for sure ! Bitcoin puts you in control of your owm money. No frozen accounts no reverse charges. No having to link up to your bank but first needing a credit card to do so it coin has solved so many problems for me.I love bitcoin <3
Of course bitcoin is winning the game, people prefer anonymous transaction especially when they deposit and withdraw in gambling, after that it is easier to set up bitcoin wallet than paypal account, slowly but sure bitcoin is going defeat paypal popularity
Each has got its own user base based on the usage with the same. For gambling purpose bitcoin usage is preferred high, for which we cannot say that PayPal is losing to bitcoin. For all trading requirement, business necessity and shopping needs PayPal is given preference. I believe there is no need of a comparison as both function based on different backing.

Actually it is cheaper to send via Paypal now than to send via bitcoin, at least domestically.
But overall I think bitcoin is still killing it, because it has gained so much adoption over the past few years.
Bitcoin is definitely exceeding paypal by a large margin on the gambling scene though because it is anonymous and easy to deposit and withdraw without having to worry about account limitation by paypal.
bitcoin leads over PayPal due to its convenient transaction ,no much details needed ,the only advantage now of PayPal it is widely used for shopping purposes unlike in bitcoin that is not known yet for shopping needs.

The thing is that paypal doesn't really support online gambling.
If you were a gambler and you wanted to get to some casino online to play, you'll never find one that accepts Paypal. Okay, maybe just a few that accepts paypal but the rest accepts skrill or neteller.
But bitcoin, it's anonyomus. You don't nee to go through the verification process with skrill or neteller with bitcoin.
i do not know how you even compare the two when the are total opposites of each other...

Seeing all reply, it is clear that Bitcoin is in winning race due to, you are in control of our account and bitcoins, you can do what ever you want no is their to ask you, through bitcoin you can send to anyone without delay and their is no verification is required. Transaction Charges are low. So like this if you compare with paypal their are so many benefits by using bitcoin

I think bitcoin has really an advantage to win over paypal thats because bitcoin is knows as a currency in gambling so most people use bitcoin and its easy to use than paypal. I think paypal is more when you want to buy something like in online shops like Amazon, Ebay, and any other online stores that mostly does not accepts bitcoin. Sooner in the future I still think bitcoin can expand more than paypal.

Well base on my experience when verification in paypal its really hard sometimes they are not accepting your card and sometimes halving linking some apps to paypal. that really not verify easily just like i experience few days ago.. i cant verified my paypal account using vcc because halving error when adding. unlike in bitcoin that much easier to use the good part in paypal you can reverse the payment once you scam..
Paypal is still leading the race in terms of online payment transaction but bitcoin is not far behind. But bitcoin has the possibility to overtake payment in a few years because bitcoin is going global and mass adopted soon. And people will learn about it being anon and fast(?) so they are going to shift to bitcoin.

Bitcoin already win this race long time ago because PayPal needs to follow many regulation and one of them is gambling activity is illegal in few countries 
Furthermore, bitcoin also offers anonymity, low fees, faster confirmation, no chargeback and ease to use. Paypal can't do this because various regulation and various fees to keep their services running.
If you don't mind use centralized wallet, there are many wallets that can support instant buy/sell bitcoin and obviously you can deposit/withdraw to many bank or other payment services quickly (but not instant).
However, convert bitcoin to fiat and directly transfer to bank account is impossible due to the nature of bitcoin decentralization.

No questions asked Bitcoin is already the clear winner even though paypal is being used in the past regarding on paying online or doing gambling online because bitcoin wasn't been created yet but now when its available it really gives the convenience and anonymity on which most people do really love.
Bitcoin will win in the end for gambling specially, since its ideal. You can gamble at any day of the week, in any country, and your age doesn't matter as long as you have bitcoins, that is what is so great, its total freedom. When I Was in HS i wanted to play poker for real money, but they would not allow me to register cause i was underage. I could have played poker with bitcoins back then. Kids of the future will be do that and some will get rich.

There is no race between bitcoin and paypal for that matter. Bitcoin is a currency and paypal is a payment option and the only common factor is that both are virtual payment methods .
