Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform
My hero would be the Bitcoin community, reasons are
• Members of the bitcoin community are curious and take the deep dive to learn the technical aspect of bitcoin and blockchain
• No one in the crypto space has a stronger hodling mentality like the bitcoin community. This has helped me to build a strong mind as well.
• The community is not fooled when imposters claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto
Theymos created this forum.
I must have read my bitcointalk history wrong. Did Theymos create bitcointalk?

Gamble responsibly
Satoshi created this forum. See how the world is giving people false information like verify your account and be rewarded $5. The privacy of people is getting to the point it is not possible. Without this forum, many people will not know how bitcoin is working and five out their information without knowing the risks first.

I like Satoshi Nakamoto for creating a coin called bitcoin and also the founder of this forum. Bitcoin is not anonymous but made it in a way people can have privacy.

I like Laszlo for the move to sell bitcoin, this is the most part I like about bitcoin. With this people know that bitcoin has value, that it is money.

I like many staff and members on this forum, members that specifically talks about bitcoin.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
I believe those OGs who contributed in early days when Satoshi was still active was the real heroes beside him/her/they. For now, I believe it was the holders, those who make the crypto community known, those who has nodes, those developers that still supporting Bitcoin with its upgrades. These are the existing heroes I can think of.

Well given those names, it's worthy to count those early investors and believers of bitcoin. I do agree what mbitr said about the OGs.

I don't know many of them since I can say that I'm quite late already with the party. But these guys deserve recognition when the world didn't believed bitcoin.

They were there when majority of the people that have knew it bashed them and did fun of what they've discovered.

Thinking of it, I do not follow notable names in the Bitcoin world, a few names pop up like Hal Finney, but overall I do not really look up to anyone in the Bitcoin community. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of notable members who have cobtributed immensely to the growth of Bitcoin many of which would not be k own publicly.

This forum and all the members who keep it going as the most reliable resource for Bitcoin discussions after quite a number of years would pass as my Bitcoin heros and heroines.

I believe those early OG bitcoiners are true heroes - the ones like Laszlo Hanyecz and others who remain anonymous. They distributed or sold for peanuts tens of thousands of their bitcoin to ensure that Bitcoin did not become centralised.
Not all heroes wear capes Smiley

The space is full of shit-posters, wannabe Satoshis, scammers, but also the best of humanity who are drawn to political activism, financial reform, mathematical purity, simple honesty, equality, and software advancement. It's full of all sorts.. Man..

I have never really though about it. I was always very impressed with Andreas Antonopoulos and his efforts to familiarize people with Bitcoin. You would expect someone like that who got in early to have gathered a significant amount, but Andreas didn't. He did own some Bitcoin from the early days but announced he sold everything to pay his debts and help his family. When Roger Ver made fun of him for not investing in time and getting rich, the community stepped in and he received donations of like 100 BTC or something like that. That's a pretty impressive thing. So my hero is the community who pooled their money together to help one of their own who deserved it.

Who is your bitcoin hero?

Who do you look up to in this space, or think is the most amazing person within the bitcoin world?

I think Sirius - Martti Malmi is mine. Here's a kid still in college who risked for a venture that he wouldn't know would work. He was willing to be open with others across the world. He lost bitcoin trying to be honest, as far as I can tell, with others when running the first exchanges.
