Yeah maybe you are right but if you are sure that your computer is not infected by anything and if you dont use a public internet you are very safe (of course not totally but mostly safe)

Is that reached familiar to the people? Really happy to find the crypto currency wallet usage by many people. Try to share the invite link your social networks facebook or Twitter. That will take more people and users also may comment their negative and positve information about that wallet.

Myetherwallet.com (MEW) is a legit online wallet for ETH and mostly with ERC20 tokens. But you have to be aware that there are scammers out there that are trying to ride with the popularity of MEW. They are making a phishing link that's redirecting to their database and gets your private key. And once successfully you logged in to that fake site, without noticing your tokens / alts will be gone immediately. Always check the URL properly so you won't be a victim of it.

I also use this wallet because according to my acquaintance that this wallet is good and safe that is way I use it and recommend it to some fellow one and I haven't got any problem while using it but this is a open source it can be manipulated and hack by hacker so make sure that you don't click the ads

I use myetherwallet almost everyday. Most useful place to control your ERC20 tokens. You can manage your tokens easily.
But for huge amount of ether you should use hardware wallets as ledger nano s. Its more safer than online wallets.

I use my ether wallet because its very easy to use and very user friendly interface. The other reason i like myetherwallet is that it can be used as a erc20 token wallet. we can use it for airdrop programmes and bounty campaigns.

why are you asking this kind of questions? is this some kind of a survey or what? anyways all i can say that myetherwallet is so far the best and most popular wallets out there if your talking about altcoins or ico because mew supports all kinds of coins and tokens especially the ones who issued by most ico's/bounties and airdrops.

I use my daily wallet. I have a lot of Etherum's so I created ETH wallet on Myetherwallet. MEW wallet quite handy and simple. But keep your private key carefully.
