I do use myetherwallet and I consider it to be secure and easy to use since you have control of all your private keys and no one has acess except for you. You can even install metamask Google chrome extension for extra security measures, meta mask will notify you whenever you access a phishing site or a website that isn't secure.
i miss MEW in every other chain i use to be honest.

Because majority of the poeple have know about the fact that the myetherwallet seems to be the very fast wallet compared with another wallet. I do. I found it secure and comprehensive. Most of the airdrops and bounties supports it. For security purposes when logging in to MEW, i bookmarked it as to eliminate possibilities of phishing.
This wallet is awful. It has no security features. It can't even be bothered to have 2 factor authentication, yet less to notify you by email when a new IP address logs in. Be very careful using this.
MyEtherWallet (MEW) is one of the greatest online wallet I am using so far. You can access your mobile wallet like JAXX and COINOMI by providing the private key and make online transactions. MEW is super awesome! I am using it when participating airdrop. Super Fflexible and reliable. I hope that they will have their own coin someday. Haha!

Another good choice is probably blockchain.info, because there one can easily transfer btc and eth.
