Banks are the parasites sucking the life out of humanity. It is better to keep your $ in cash, gold or bitcoin.

Reading a story from a few years ago where someone invested all their life savings into Bitcoin and started to live off Bitcoin. that guy was a lucky guy as now the price as more than tripled to when he invested in it. Anyone else brave enough to do this?

Nope I trust BTC but not that much because:
  • We don't know if bitcoin will stay a long time
  • The bitcoin price is not stable and we don't know in the future how it will be

That is good that you trust bitcoin,

The risk involved gives the reward back so that is why he asked is anybody stupid/brave enough the gamblers or the guys that have total faith will be the same guys that do not need to work another day in their life, or they will have to work even harder for even longer but at least they gave it a shot.

I do not have the balls to go all in with everything i own but only because i have a wife and little girl if i was on my own i would have gone all in without a doubt Smiley

Wish the guys that have the best of luck..

All those guys with no responsibilities should put at least 50% of their savings into Bitcoin. I mean there is a much higher % of it going up than it going to 0.

Terminated.
I already did. I went almost all in at 240.

Well, this is interesting... I would think as an early adaptor you would be buying houses for bitcoins, not the way around.
Why would you be spending all of your Bitcoins right now?
Aren't we supposed to be buying more than we are using?

Honey badger just does not care
I am thinking of selling my houise for bitcoins. Is it a good idea?

It sure beats Russian roulette, and potentially more profitable.

If you sign the papers for a fixed amount of money and in the next hours the price of bitcoins falls down you will end up with a lesser amount of cash than you previously has agreed upon. Surely you could wait for the bitcoins price to rise again and you will have more money than the initial price of your house.

I have entery in 2014 (560-330 Euros).
In 2015 = 260 euros.

So ... i wait a bank crash or ... the 2016 (reward divided per 2).

but the main goal work very great : i can move my money from anything at high amount in ... 10 minutes.
banks can't do this (SEPA for high amount -more than 800 euros- wait 4 full days).

---

When i view the gold value raise by 17% in 2015 ... i wait for the bitcoin that people realise that it's more than gold, it's "psedable" without middle men !

You can move it in an instant and get the confirmation in 10 minutes in average Wink You are right, it is an awesome technology and the price should rise enough for you to be in the black again.

As I have said before, putting all of your savings into any 1 thing is not only stupid, it is completely irresponsible.  I hope no one has a family they have to provide for and is putting their entire savings into Bitcoin(Or anything for that matter)

I believe in Bitcoin, but not to the extent that I would put my entire life savings into it. That just seems risky to the point of stupidity. I can see dropping 25% of my life savings at most, but even then, I probably won't be sleeping right. At least, it would be a lot safer than putting it all into an altcoin.

I put all my savings into it too. That was before December 2013. And I haven't sold any yet, other than what I need to use to pay for everything. I pretty much use bitcoin to pay for everything at this point.

Hundreds of users are in the same situation and thousands are up more than 100%.
The protocol is strong and time plays for Bitcoin.

A lot of people entered Bitcoin in 2014.
They are feeling the pinch.

Yes of course and most lost more than 50% of the value of their holdings but they should stay around bitcoins, keep using it and enjoy the strong protocole and possiblities of the cryto world.
