I have 30 bitcoins. Should I sell or keep?

If you don't need the money, keep it and do your best to increase adoption!

Bank accounts serve a high interest in countries with high inflation but high inflation means the purchasing power of your holdings go down.

Don't think it's necessarily true all the time. The standard bank account interest around here seems to beat the inflation rate most of the time, but the inflation rate here is around 2% so it isn't really what people call high inflation.

I have 30 bitcoins. Should I sell or keep?

It depends... If you really need this money, you should sell, at least one part. But if you don't, I would keep for the years to come because bitcoin's got a huge potential when it will massively be adopted.

Of course, it's a bet to do. If you are able to take such a bet, you should take it. We can't think instead of you. It's you the one who has  to do this kind of choice.

Keep it securely in a paper wallet. You can invest 3BTC on cloudmining or in the just-dice bankroll if you want to gamble/invest some of it.

I dont mind converting all my life savings into bitcoins..this is probably the right time to do so..but I live in a country..where easily less than 5% of the population knows about bitcoin n Im pretty sure till now nobody(as far as i kno) accepts BTC for goods n stuff..!! So..Its close to impossible to do it..out here!

You can invest in Bitcoin and sell it for a profit in a few years and exchange it to your local currency to buy the stuff you need locally.

My main bank offers a "high interest" saving account, minimum $5K balance required. A whopping 1.05% interest. Wow, that's a real good place to park my money.

Mine is around 7%  minimum.Lucky me huh Smiley

you live in switzerland or something? lol

Nope.

SEA?

Switzerland has very high fees and very low interest rates for savings account; in the Euro zone it's about 1%/year but in some countries you have to pay an interest to keep money in your deposit account : you are charge 0.xx% per year

There is nothing wrong having part of your wealth in Bitcoin, and I do have. Any investment is risky, so saying keeping your life savings elsewhere is smarter is pretty ignorant

Of course there is nothing wrong with it, but most people would agree that putting all of your life savings into bitcoin is very risky and maybe even a silly risk, but obviously that is up to the individual on how much money they are willing to put into it. The risk could pay dividends of course, but the opposite is also true.

Investing is always risky but it's those who take the risk that reap the rewards. Of course the opposite is also true if they investment fails but you've got to speculate to accumulate  Grin.

Not losing money is a good way to build wealth.

Some investments are riskier than other though Wink

I am stupid / brave enough to do this, i already did it and i am doing it every month Wink 100% of my savings go to crypto...I am 500% in averaged profit, so i would call myself rather brave than stupid Wink

I think bitcoin will be a safe bet for the near future and still has potential for much higher prices, but I don't have much money to put it into btc though I wish I did.

Maybe not a safe bet but a good bet for sure.

You have to invest where you can expect a positive return over the long run. Bitcoin may be a 30% chance of quintupling your money in 2years

Most non-scams investments are safer that saving on a US or European Bank account; yet most people think savings in a Bank is the less risky investment. You have 99% chance of losing value with a saving account
