I think Russia does not have as developed PR system as US does.
Russia does have a PR machine. It is the state run media.

However, the Russian sub-forum may be riddled with paid posts (If they have a Russian SF)

I suspect, that this guy is just killed: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/pagan-81677

How do you know? He is your comrade?

You should be a little more elaborate OP, very unclear on what you mean

I already posted on this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8057468.
Wait, what? Russia pays people to post negative opinions? Or is this all tied back to Ukraine...

Are we seriously going to discuss this? Fine by me!

I'd say the US pays more people (And in larger amounts) as opposed to Russia.

The US loves doing stuff like that, and Russia would have a harder time attacking the forum since they have to get english-speaking members if their populace to do this.

I know that USA and Russia employs paid posters who pays more? What is the requirements?

Honestly that would be a good question probably the USA since they have a larger agenda on various issues
The Russias would pay for the propoganda they need though so they might out bid.

That said Blackwater and the shadow agencies go to the highest bidder so they probably both pay out enough at different times.

Anyways bit of a weird topic; but it was a tad amusing.

I highly doubt that anyone is paying anyone to post ...

That is only about no knowledge of paid "free lance writing" in Internet.

I highly doubt that anyone is paying anyone to post about the Ukraine situation on a forum for users of Bitcoin.

Probably the least effective way to get the public on their side.

I saw some, but mostly they are on yahoo news, facebook, youtube, twitter and popular blogs and news sites. They multiple accounts on each sites.

The reach of users on the bitcointalk forum is too small for mass brainwashing. I think, mostly it's being posted on news channels and sites like facebook or vkontakte.
There are millions of users there, and you could reach all of them in the same day - almost instantly.

Bitcointalk has also millions of visitors per month. And what is posted here will show on google results.

i don't really know if americans pay people to spread the propaganda online.. they have the news networks for that.

one unique about america and how it digests information: it operates under a "democratic" guise where people think they have all the freedom in the world, when in reality they don't have shit. russia is more brute with controlling its mass, seems like america does it in a more roundabout way.

The real war is on the comments section. Most people already know that those news network is controlled by the government. They tend to believe more in the popular comments.

Interesting. I've seen at least one person recently who fits the bill for this. I'm not surprised to see that this is going on.

I mean Government paid trolls or posters. I know there are some government paid posters here. I want to apply who can guide me. Smiley

I know there are already many countries having this program. To defend their country from other internet trolls.
