A lot of bounty hunters ask the bounty manager and the team of the project if kyc needed or not.
Why they ask about that?
Do you think it is good for projects and for bounty hunters to implement KYC.
What is the advantage of KYC for both.
I like to know from all and thank you in advance.

Because there is no guarantee for the bounty hunter to know for what will the teams wants to do with the personal identification later. We are afraid if our identification is used for any illegal things and it's not good if we share the identity to the public. Besides that, I think the KYC is needed for the investor only, and of course, the team will also need to fill the KYC to proves that they are severe with the project. Besides that, if the team can fill the KYC too, I think the investor will give a big trust to the project so they will invest in a big amount of money for the project.

I would not want my personal information to be in the hands of scammers, because that is possible. Too much scam ICO, I even stopped taking part in new projects.

I am very far from the project that uses KYC, because I am afraid my identity is being misused by irresponsible people, because I know KYC is only needed for investors ...

very troublesome, another problem is data security.
some participants are afraid of data being misused like the Facebook case. and bounty hunters follow many projects, so filling KYC for them is a waste of time.

Real bounty participants don't scare to pass KYC, but a lot of people use multiple account to cheat bounty campaign reward, so they can't pass KYC at then end of campaign, some of them just don't want send their sensitive information to third party

You need to ask if KYC is needed from the start to ensure that your hard work will not be wasted in the end in case you will not be able to comply with the KYC. This is the main reason of why hunters don't like KYC because they may not able to pass it also i don't favor KYC as the ICOs don't know if the submitted ID's are genuine or not in which purely is a waste of time.

Well, I think that many reasons can influence why the bounty hunters dislike the KYC.
1. It is too risky for us because we are not investor that will buy, we are partner and going to promote the [projects.
2. Sometimes, they have some accounts in the projects and too risky to send one ID for all accounts.
3. It is too lazy to do so.
However, In my opinion if we have no choice, we must do it with any risks. If the rewards are small, better not to complete KYC process.

Bounties can be deceiving, we can't say if a project is good and have a better future, KYC is for security since it avoid fraud but projects that implement KYC can be the fraud as well, identities and personal info is our own, its our data so it can't be use for different matter, and no one willing to give their identity for a token that is worthless.

Bounty hunter does not like KYC because it's quite a hassle . People who hate KYC most are cheaters . When they finish the project, they ignore and proceed to the new project. So they did not know about KYC and did not receive the bonus. But KYC is also good, reducing the big number of cheaters.

No one likes passing KYC. But, if the project is good then the requirement to pass it, will not stop bounty hunters in their desire to participate.

P.s. If you see a project without MVP then it's a scam on 90%. Don't pass kyc for it.

Coz some of them cheats, this is the big problem of cheaters. But actually I dont want kyc coz some government official wants to know our identity and use it to hack your information.

I don't love KYC too and I oppose it. Having checked successful projects, only in single cases to me projects the carrying-out KYC met. All other successful projects didn't enter him. It pushes on reflections about honesty and legality of his carrying out.

in my opinion in terms of the positive necessity of doing KYC on a bounty hunter is to reduce cheaters so that everyone will be more honest in joining bounty and from the negative side we do not know the data we provide will be safe or not in the next few years

Because there are scam projects that collect this personal information unnecessarily, but in the end also do not pay you tokens.

They ask, because they want to know in advance so it doesn't surprise them at the end. They don't like to risk their personal information in order to participate in the bounty, which is understandable. From my point of view, implementing KYC for bounties is totally unnecessary, because you can check if participants are fake or not with other simpler means.

As far as I know, KYC is mostly implemented to market investors due to scam scenarios happen with them. It could be good also to the community cause it lessen the number of scammer but the disadvantage into these, if someone with their team uses our Identify for illegal activities which could put our self into danger.

If it is just the bounty hunters here doing signature campaign, facebook and twitter then there is a reason.

They dont want to be caught of the greedy things that they are doing.
5 to 10 accounts in one campaign? How could you have different kind of identification in KYC for all of that to be paid?
That is all the reason behind it.
