Based on my opinion bitcoin or any other crypto currencies are over valued check price chart of bitcoin last year same time its less than 300$ more still bitcoin price is more than 100% in one year. The main reason is whales are manipulating market once big whale who hold 96000 bitcoin sold bitcoin other small investors followed same way they will again buy from bottom.

All of these things are normal cycles of Bitcoin market, I'd suggest you check previous years month by month to see it is normal behavior, although different prices it is at.
