I think because they want to grow and most altcoins are traded with bitcoin and this is why they want to grow so they can get some profit from altcoins or from bitcoin.

That was trading around $8800 and those who sold at that price enjoyed at least 100% profit. Buying at dip is good for better profit, but you need to be smart to do the right timing, we don't see the future but at least we have a feeling which is the right time to buy and sell.
Officially the dip is already on, so buying at dip gives a lot of profit.
