i think this is what people's do if they don't like bitcoin and they will use many ways to give negatives perspective so people are not join with bitcoin. but i think you don't have to affect with negatives news, you only need to follow what your heart said and then doing your own research and if you think bitcoin is good enough for you and could help you for your future, then you can continue to use bitcoin and make money from bitcoin. i don't think that bitcoin will die for a short time because there is many people which is using bitcoin and they use bitcoin as their source to make more money.
I don't see any bad news spread, but if you meant latest news about USDT thief issue then it affected not only bitcoin but crypto world. But I don't think the impact is big.

well it's been a mix of good and bad comment for Bitcoin in the past few days. these is expected because of the huge adoption gained by the coin in over the years. the more people get involve, different opinions would be circulated by both the players and non players in the Bitcoin world.

These talks or comments are not new to any successful currency. Talks like these are there since from the introduction of bitcoin. No government or any central authority can establish control over bitcoins functioning. Its decentralised/independent nature making it more and popular among investors and traders. Bicoin has created a better option for bank investors as well as for other currencies. Governments and banks are finding it difficult to keep control over their outgoing investments so they are trying to regulate/ban bitcoin by having reasons like terror funding, drug trafficking etc.
Well until recently bitcoin was not popular at all, so people didn't need to comment. When the price first started to rise, people tried to claim it was a fraud, which is simply not correct, obviously. Since those comments died down, recently people have started to attack from another angle: claiming that it's a bubble. I've been hearing the word bubble being thrown around a lot lately, so it's not surprising that people have started to criticize bitcoin once again.

You must be getting your news from a very different source. All I can see these days is nothing but clear blue skies from the media, both the online crypto ones and mainstream offline.

It's pretty normal to receive negative attacks on Bitcoin and it's not just "lately" but also on the past years of Bitcoin. You must be listening more to nonsense talks about Bitcoin as I have not seen many bad news about it at least after the cancellation of the SegWit2x. Anyway, we should understand that people have different ideas and opinions about Bitcoin and from the viewpoint of a marketer even a negative buzz about something can be better than no buzz at all. Remember that a bad publicity is still a good publicity because many people would then be interested to know more and once these people will find out the real score they can be enticed to join the cryptocurrency movement.
