In altcoin you make more money than Bitcoin which has been established for long time.
Altcoin is better than Bitcoins because you can buy numbers of option which are of high value. Bitcoin is very expensive and you can buy only a limited coins if you have less money to invest. But you have many options when you want to invest the same amount on Altcoins.
I think that BTC has the most powerful net of miners and no other altcoin has such reliability. But of course for short term investments alts are the best. This situation with most BTC in small group of people seems to me fatal in longterm...
I believe that Bitcoin is new digital gold. And nothing can be better than BTC. All other cryptocurrencies are alternative to Bitcoin, but they can't be better. When BTC price goes down, altcoins price repeat this movement and vice versa.
To be honest i prefer altcoins, because if you invest in the right ones there is a bigger growth potential than Bitcoin has.

There are pros and cons in both, but Bitcoin has more value than Altcoin. Besides, there are plenty of unknown trash Altcoins, which nobody buys. I don't think Bitcoin and Altcoin are comparable in "worse-better" way.

I think this is the first time reading new topic against the image of bitcoin's popularity in crypto. Although seems you have a point but I think it is not true that altcoin is better than bitcoin. I also think that you have an altcoin that looks like much better than bitcoin in the future.
It depends on which angle you look it from considering the use case of some of altcoin i prefer them to bitcoin had it been they come as the first crypto, bitcoin can't come close to them.

There is a big difference between stocks and coins. The developers of crypto projects have no obligations to you. You bear all the risks. It's just speculation. The more bitcoins will be in the hands of whales, the more chances that the crypto market will live.
I do not think that bitcoin is stable but it is always a coin that has the potential to surprise you forward .and I have to admit that he is the king of this market. So I also do all of my investments
