Are you going to open up a thread everytime you have a post removed? Same answer as last time:

I didn't remove them but one user has been reporting a lot of 'spam' posts from a fair few users. You likely won't be banned for it, especially it it was long ago. You need to be consistently posting crap to get a ban for that and leniency will likely be show for old posts that have gone overlooked.

Your not the only one experiencing this though. It also kills the mood to participate in this forum discussion if someone is happily deleting posts while in hiding.

Don't think they're hiding, I believe all moderators (who have the privilege to delete posts) accounts are open to the public. Just by viewing the boards you'll be able to find those moderating them. If alot of your posts are getting deleted more often then you should get the memo that you're not doing something right. Don't think any mod who purposely target any user, deleting his/her convenient on the forum just for personal satisfactions.

In regards to you getting discourage from contributing on the forum as a result of your previous contents getting deleted, that's not enough reason to feel that way unless your only motive to writing on the forum is because you're been paid to do so. Just take corrections and improved on yourself.

Are you going to open up a thread everytime you have a post removed? Same answer as last time:
When I have post deleted which is not off topic or spam, it hurts. Who is having the mistake here? Who is responsible for this? It's not like all of my deleted posts are off topic, spam. I can assure you more than 50% of the deleted posts are in no way delete worthy. Then where's thw wrong?
Is mod considering deleting post based on reporter? or based on reported user? If none, of course based on post quality which does not seem to be the case here.
Trust me, I would not create a thread again. This time I'm not here because of fear of being banned but I'm bored, I'm really bored of seeing deleted message each day. I'm not that bad poster.
Anyway, it would be better if you particularly try to point about the reason of the above deleted post in OP.

I didn't remove them so I can't advise on why, but they will be taken on a case by case basis and if one mod is removing them then obviously he feels that they are good reports. The person who is reporting you also has a couple of bad reports from what I can see so they're not always agreeing with them. Maybe contact the other Globals and see if they can help you.

Anything which is more important for you now is to find that user who is consistently reporting your posts.
There is absolutely no need to go after whoever is reporting posts, it's also not possible to find out as such information is only available to mods and staffs. The important thing is to maintain your post quality and only contribute naturally when you have something to add. Your posts would not be deleted simply cause they were reported, the mods need to agree with the comment in the report to take action.

There is no point now to ask this question as everything is clear from the hilariousandco reply and more importantly your account won't be harmed.

When I had posted, OP did not know that his method was working. After I had posted, I have seen his edited post. Well, I have no problem with that if that's the reason of my post getting deleted but have you noticed that Jawhead had said exactly what I did. So, he had posted even after seeing OP had confirmed his method was working. Then why that post was there? Definitely there are something wrong. If OP edited his post and for that reason my post was deleted, I think this is too much dubious.

I want to hear from community and the mods if possible. I would appreciate anyone evalauting deleted post in OP.
I'm not the one that reported your post but if I have to guess, I would say it has to do with the second line in your post:

- You mentioned seeing OP of that thread updating his/her post after you commented [his/her edit was prior to yours], therefor your post counted as low-key spam since you repeated an answer [even if both updates were too close]...
  • I know your intention was to help and not to spam.
  • This is quite similar to a habit that a lot of higher-ranked members have and that is posting things like "the above user beat me [and other similar things]"...
    - Such posts doesn't add any value and should be taken down since they count as repetitive posts (unless they have other parts in them that are missing from previous posts).

Your moon icon does work. I can see the icon on your thread title.I think copy paste is the only way to do that. I have not seen any other option to add such an icon in the title.

That might be the case, but just because a post gets reported doesn't mean it's automatically deleted.
It's getting automated to be honest. Each day I'm getting 3/4 or more deleted posts, I do not know why mod think my posts are delete worthy while in my eyes they are not.

I am having a lot of deleted posts nowadays.

Me too.  What I find happens is a scammer/troll starts lying.   The victim responds to the lies.   This goes on until the scammer is no longer winning, and then he/she reports the post and all the ones leading up to it are deleted.  I doubt it's "business as usual" here anymore since such drastic measures are being taken.

Shouldn't call it a "false" report like scammers cry "trust abuse!".  Everyone has different opinions - if your words are always complete and true regardless of context and observation, then you should ask Theymos for moderation immunity.  Smiley

Bump,
If possible please a mod reply here why this post has been considered as delete worthy? Well, it seems like my posts are not getting deleted much like as previous.
You just mistakenly quoted RapTarX, who claims to be an Indian but has a Linkedin profile mentioning Bangladesh, and are not an alt of mdayonliner or S_Therapist. Right? Roll Eyes

This can be a possible reason of course but do not forget to evalaute that how much off topic my reply was, or how much spam my reply was on that post. I have no idea based on which criteria my post was deleted. Do not forget that I was the first one who replied on that topic.
Unfortunately, it's probably the reason you're going to have to live with, because I doubt anyone is going to come here and say they reported your posts--and I wouldn't sweat it too much.  I've had quite a few posts deleted in the time I've been a member here, and it's just something you have to accept.

Brother, it seems that someone or few people are repeatedly reporting your posts and hence they are getting deleted more than the usual.  Do you have any conflict with anyone on this forum and he maybe taking revenge.
That might be the case, but just because a post gets reported doesn't mean it's automatically deleted.  The mods presumably read the post and make a judgement independent of the reporter.

On that case on that thread(which I also replied to), I think it's pretty much the reason that someone(Jawhead999) already gave the same answer first(that's even a bit more in-depth) as you did, hence the mod/admin probably saw your reply as unnecessary.
You may have missed my post, I have said two times that I was first user to respond on that topic. So Jawhead999 repeated myself actually. I think I should bold that part. You can check from loyce.club Archive.

Do you have any other post to quote as examples?
2nd last deleted post-
we are not sure about whether Little Mouse will join the pool as of yet.
I'm joining the pool as I have stated it before. I was about to send the entry fee but I was away of my personal wallet, that's why I have not sent yet.
@Royse777
Thank you for the compliments. I also do not want any drama here. PM would be the best solution I think.
In IPL Pool discussion, akhjob was having doubt about me whether I will participate or not and I pointed that I will but I was late because of my personal issue. If my post was off topic (it can be in some ways), last few replies are same too (off topic). It's not like I was replying there to increase post count. Bestchange even do not count replies in megathread. And IPL pool is considered as megathread as per their definition. I am well aware about that. But since akhjob having confusion, I made them clear about my participation in the pool.

IIRC, there was a bot like this for Beginner's and Help to filter out the spams some time back.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the past it was heavily rumoured that someone was running a sort of "anti-plagiarism" bot, automatically reporting all plagiarism topics and replies that the software crawls, but as far as I know the mods/admins still manually check them.

Or am I missing something else?

Do you have any other post to quote as examples? I can't exactly think of why this is deleted but the mods have their own POV. It's possible that there's some moderation bot that was triggered? IIRC, there was a bot like this for Beginner's and Help to filter out the spams some time back.

I doubt the mods would dig up the reason for reporting your post. I'll be very interested to see the reasoning though.

The logic is simple. Someone definitely reported you post to the mods and did not report the others, so their off-topic replies were spared. Perhaps the reporter saw your first reply and reported it before others commented.

No need to feel bad about a few of your reported posts. Almost everyone here has had their posts deleted at one point.
If it was normal, I would not bother but it is not normal. My on topic replies are deleted, there is something wrong of course. It's not a few only.

I am having a lot of deleted posts nowadays. I would like to talk about the last one. I would be happy to see an explanation as it is no way a delete worthy posts, not my others deleted posts also.

Hello everyone,

Some threads have icons in their topic, was wondering how they got to insert them? I copy-pasted the moon icon in this subject, but does not seem to work..

thanks
Your moon icon does work. I can see the icon on your thread title.I think copy paste is the only way to do that. I have not seen any other option to add such an icon in the title.
Edit- Did not notice your edit  Cheesy
Look at the post which I have quoted. The author of the topic had used an icon in the title but he did not know it was displayed in the title. I have said him that it works with copy paste and copy paste is the only known way of using icon in the title. After my post, I have seen that author has edited his post and wrote that his method was working.
For evaluation, I am quoting some of the response which was made later my post. I was the one who first replied on that topic.

Apropos icons in the topic title, try avoid them a much as possible, and if you really want to use them, don't overdo it.
Some think that they will make their topics more noticeable if they use bunch of icons, but in reality it looks tacky and more often than not will have counter effect.
OP asked for way to use icon in title but this user is pointing something else, totally off topic. It is not deleted but my replied was.

Yes, only copy-paste is the way to add emoji in your title. This forum only provided few standard emoji, as you can see when you want to create post/thread.

You can choose emoji what you want to use here https://emojipedia.org/

Keep in mind not all emoji can be used in this forum and most outside emoji doesn't work on windows.

Personally I don't like using emoji on topic title since its make forum mess and hurt my eyes.
It is more or less same as my reply. It is not deleted but my replied was.

So, why me all the times? I have a lot of deleted posts within last days and most of them was not off topic at all, not repeated at all, not spammed at all. Some user have added the same reply as of me after my post but they are still there. Do not you think I am being the victim of false report?
Also, I would appreciate the corresponding moderator to reply here who have deleted the above post with an explanation, I know I have no right or moderator is not obliged to reply here with explanation but I am being censored a lot in my opinion. If anyone wants, I can share all of my deleted posts too.
