The 4 hour stuff is annoying, but it is only a one-time thing. If you have an 'auto refresh' plugin for your browser you can just set it and walk away.

This is rather annoying. I want to start posting in the regular forums but have to be on for 4 hours!? And make 10 posts!? I understand they need to keep the riff raff out but there has to be a better way. Because this is sort of discouraging me. I'll try to hang in there though.

They've been known to be on the same thread at the same time, although lately it's been getting stale. Then again, I've been too busy with Bitcoin100 to read what's happening on the other threads. yeah lurking while logged in doesn't seem to do do it, not sure how it measures but if you just leave the window open for four hours its not enough.
