I have never experienced that muslims are synonym for terrorism, but there are radikal muslims who are willing to kill other people for their believe. With the help of the public press they want to imply that muslims are in general terrorists to create restlessness in the population and many people believe this propaganda, even though the religion of islam itself prohibits violence.

Being politically correct is not beneficial to anyone. You need to check the root cause behind the Islamic extremism. Most of the radical Islamist organizations justify their atrocities saying that they are just following what is written in the Holy Quran. And they are right.
