Because the modern world is designed in such a way that people do not think at all, but do what the system needs. But this system doesn't allow us to fall completely to the bottom
Are you generalizing? yes of course we all want and need money but the moment someone learns something, they naturally wanted to learn more. It's the nature of human, they aren't sometimes drive for money, they get drive because of the knowledge on how to earn it.
My psychology teacher always highlights motivation. We hate to study because we don't have motivation to do it.
So what we should do is try to find it one way or another. By creating visions, thinking about how it will benefit us in the future, how it will result to a good grade or anything like that. I have goal setting planner for it. For some people it's much more harder than for others. For me it's really hard.

On my experience also in crypto on when some of my friends are hate learning some things in crypto.
But when I'm started to earn in crypto they are all gathered on my house asking how to earn and gained more money in crypto.
So this is a kind of people that not need to learn and want to earn easily. They not following some rules in crypto and how hard to work on it.

The dean called us that way, but only recently I understood the meaning of that. Especially the young people of today. They are addicted to instant gratification and can't pay attention to anything serious. I believe less than 1% of people here actually read Bitcoin whitepaper, yet it is one of the most important white papers of all times. This is where it all started. Seriously though, give it a read, it takes 15 minutes, but it's totally worth it! 
they always measure to the necessities of life and are very reasonable if they are concerned with something instant. I once gave an understanding of crypto and they were very interested, but after knowing the conditions and risks, they started to make many excuses and just leave, the nature of a person who does not want to change fate is he who does not want to face risks and choose to fear, and finally returns to their simple routine.

Hahaaha, if I am to use my own country as an example, people now hate to really study because they feel all the books they have read in the universities end up not getting them any job and all they are still doing to survive is one business or the other which make majority of them to be regretting ever even going to school and they wish they had save up the money they used to study for business. why are people like this? How will they EARN without LEARNING? this is still affecting many newbies coming into crypto space till date, how will them not get scammed? lolAside this, there are some practical jobs that requires through learning and anyone that fails to do that should be blame for that because anyone that is not learning will definitely loose. Take for example trading, if you work away while learning to trade and you try to practice it without through training, you will really have yourself to be blamed when you are losing money.

Not everyone hates learning. I have seen people who are genuinely interested in gaining knowledge and information. Again, there are people who hates learning because "of the way they are taught". If a person learns from an article that explains everything in a very tedious, monotonous and in a boring tone (like "that" shitty college professor) , obviously they will lose their interest. why are people like this? Crypto evolves really fast. People write books and once is published already need to be seriously updated. New researches are coming out daily. So yes crypto is for those that like novelties and love to learn. Those that dont like to learn should rather find more appropriate hobbies.

In fact trading is a very sensitive and difficult thing to master. People don't like to think much and they hate to concentrate on calculations or analysis for hours on end. therefore, they are afraid that they cannot afford and do not want to participate in financial markets. why are people like this? It is also a bit ironic, when you have access to the internet, you can almost acquire every information for free but only a few people want to. Information has no value now because it is available to everybody. It used to be the opposite. The only way to get information was by books, schools, teachers but it had value. People used to pay for these.
I was lucky to meet on my way a lot of people who want to learn something. And these are not only young people, but adults, self-sufficient individuals. They understand that knowledge and information is life, is development. Of course, there are those who want to quickly get rich and not understand anything and not learn anything, but that people are a minority. And it pleases.
Everywhere we have to learn and we never end up learning because from a young age we have learned to "learn to walk" and now that we are old enough to learn to "work". So we have to learn everything, everything we see and do. And this is what we should teach people who want to know bitcoin, I know that many in this world have a passion for learning so let's not stop sharing what we know with people who are interested in bitcoin and not in the value of bitcoin.

I have noticed this thing in some communities in my area but it depends on the thing which you want them to learn. You have to convince them to learn that things in which they are interested or at least they are involved in that thing. For example if a person is sending money to abroad and he is facing problems and if you will try to teach him about the bitcoin transaction them he will take interest without the greed of earning. why are people like this? Only very few people wish to learn things first before trying things out, this makes me remember the time i entered crypto space, i was so dumb and i never wanted to make stupid mistakes, i started finding answers myself before throwing in any pratical acts, it did favour me on the long run, till date i am not a victim of any scam project
