i think that the reason there are still some people that are scared in bitcoin because it is used to buy illegal stuff so thats why it has a bad image
I think they afraid to loose their power or their money. Additionally they are not aware of this is also one output of global village. you cant hide yourself from future...

I'm personally of the view that people are against bitcoin because they do not invest in it. They are jealous that they did not invest in when the price was very low and that those who saw the potential of bitcoin invested in it and are now making profits 
Many people are against with bitcoin because they are not aware how bitcoin works. And most of people that against to bitcoin are those victims of scammers,fraud sites,etc. But if they could just do some research,they would really be addicted and inlove to bitcoin.

Many people don't believe bitcoin because they don't know about bitcoin. They don't know about its advantages. If people know properly about bitcoin, they will understand how great the bitcoin is!!

In my own point of view, many people are against bitcoins because they are thinking that bitcoins is just a waste of time. They think that you are going to waste your money if you invest on it. Those people are against since they still don't know exactly what bitcoin is and how to deal with it. They are not educated well.

Sone people against the btc because they don't agree and believe on btc, they say that btc is not existing because they don't see it then they don't believe on difital currencies. Some says that btc is just a scam they don't want to risk their money. No one can see the resukt if you don't risk on something.

Change is the first enemy of change itself, people are afraid of change but change is inevitable. So many people are against bitcoin because they don't understand the intrigue of it, some hate bitcoin because its probe to fraud, cybercrime, no physical organization moderating it.
I think a better question is why are people *still* against bitcoin. Right now people see FUD headlines about price instability and they assume bitcoin can never be a useful currency. Obviously this is untrue and the ability to deal with price swings has changed and will continue to improve. Most people don't even understand computers. Against bitcoin only those people who have invested and lost money on it, because they do not know how to trade. And those people who can not buy it for any reason. They are more likely to gloat). Some people have invested in the pyramid in the past and now they think that Bitcoin is a pyramid scheme. And it'll collapse someday.

The problem is the lack of legalization and very big problems with maintaining the price. The BTC price is very hesitant for some time. It's hard to talk about safe investing in such a situation.

I believe people have become afraid of bitcoin due to the rapid growth of the crypto market. Every day, unknown cryptocurrencies appears , which grow at times every day. Bitcoin is at the moment froze, but soon will pleasantly surprise its owners. Do not be afraid of bitcoin, and if this happens, then there is no sense to participate in the crypto market at all. Every day there is a fall and growth of other cryptocurrencies, but everyone talks only about it, not noticing the rest.
People are mainly against it thinking of it being a bubble. And few people these days are mainly scared by the recent drop in the price of bitcoin which is inturn making them root against bitcoin.
