Maybe they really do not understand what is Bitcoin, like how it works and the benefits they might get.
I don't know why they are against bitcoin. But i guess it is because they did not know what the meaning of crypto currency is.
Its anti establishment at its core! This is bound to ruffle a few feathers after all. You are competing with banks who control money who control government.
Well now even the ordinary banks and the government are accepting bitcoin because it is full of profit for them as well, For me there is nothing better than bitcoin I will invest in bitcoin because our government are now gradually accepting bitcoin and they are supporting bitcoin, so I have faith that soon in future bitcoin will be able to see as the currency of the era, better if you buy and we should increase the knowledge of the people about bitcoin because according to me the reason behind it is the lack of knowledge only nothing else.
Ignorance played the most part of it. Many people do not understand Bitcoin, they do not have knowledge of it for now and maybe they are not interested. Negative news makes it the more so that for people who have no knowledge of Bitcoin, for them Bitcoin is a scam. Eventually maybe in the near future and because of the high technology {internet} now, people will learn and understand Bitcoin. I myself is teaching the member of my family Bitcoin so that they will knew that Bitcoin is not a scam. It is the bad people{scammer} who are making bad impression, not Bitcoin.
People are not really against it. Most people/national officials refuse to use currency as bitcoin, but they support family members who participate in the Bitcoin market. I think this is just a trick. They are just to reduce the value of Bitcoin sales in order to get the lowest price.

Yes, There's still a lot of people who are against or do not believe in bitcoin and what I think of is - it is because of the risk of security. I even tried to discuss this with my friends at work and they do not believe that they can earn money in bitcoin even without any investment.We all know why banks are so against bitcoin. They've just started bitcoin, they must have heard the news that it reached 20000$ and tried to invest. But thats the peak price and so it dropped.
As for the government, they just want to decrease crime rate in countries.
Many people are against to the bitcoin, because they have no idea what this technology is . Maybe for now they were against to this crypt currency, but when the days they know the good help of this coin I'm sure you will like to used it instead of paper money. Soon or later they will understand the basis demands of current generation and eventually take part in the bitcoin
from all my surroundings only a couple of people who have some idea of bitcoin, though the rest are either superficially or do not even know what it is. Leading breeds fear, fear divides hate.
Well I could definitely tell you that banks are against bitcoin since bitcoin is overcoming the bank's potential. Bitcoin has now been more accessible and easier. The only thing holding bitcoin back is the ability to transact faster and not to mention the transaction fees.
Based on my experience, other people think that bitcoin is a scam and a waste of time. At first that is also my thinking because i was too scared to learn about other things in internet and i thought it could possibly hack my computer and get my personal information so i didn't continue in using bitcoin that time. But after some time, my friends convince me and i observed that they are really earning a lot in bitcoin i start believing in it and studied bitcoin. So the point is, its up to the person whether he wants to learn bitcoin or not. They just need to find their own reason to start believing in bitcoin.
Some person who does not like bitcoin especially our friends and relatives will kept saying not to deal with cryptocurrency as it will just make you scam and your time will just be wasted, they will pull you down too, and some governments does not like it as they are seeing this as a big threat in the cash system.

I don't think they are against bitcoin, maybe they are just uninformed about the benefits they may gain from bitcoin. Just like atheists, they tend to disbelief something because they haven't experienced it yet. We should just let them off and avoid getting into conversations that may brainwash our minds about bitcoin. Let us just enjoy the benefits we get from bitcoin and laugh at them while they are experiencing poverty because of hating bitcoin. Many people tend to hate bitcoin because they haven't experienced it yet of they don't have any idea on how they can make money through it. They pull people down so that they can have someone beside them who don't get the chance to earn anything from bitcoin. Another thing is because bitcoin has been showing off good things to many wherein their bitterness pushes them to avoid believing on it.
Because they know that bitcoin is a scam but the truth is, bitcoin helps them to have income.

They are not only informed correctly, thus people that say that they have scammed by bitcoin are those people investing without proper knowledge in the crytocurrency and how really bitcoin works. The people that are against the bitcoin now are once to cry in the future because they will regret why they never joined bitcoin from the early days. People should never worry about what others think about bitcoin or any other new technology because it is in peoples' nature to criticize new things.
Many people are against bitcoin because some of them thimk that it is just a scam. They think that they will only waste their time in doing bitcoin. But once they tried and have proven that it is not a scam, maybe that's the time when they can already believe the existence of bitcoin.
I agree with everyone here, there's a lack of information about it and who knows what Bitcoin can do, tries to spread fake news about it
