BTC is not only the first coin but it has symbolic value for the entire crypto market, one symbol of the blockchain revolution.
Just like gold, there are thousands of metals produced such as steel, aluminum, silver, etc., which are widely used in daily life. but gold has always been the most valuable metal, still number 1.
So there will be no altcoins that can replace BTC although ETH, Sol, Tron or Xrp... have utilities, applications and technologies that are far superior to BTC.
It depends on your preference, I believe there are Alt-Coins already replacing Bitcoin on some people's portfolio already, so people are selling of their BTC, or aren't buying BTC as to preference to Alt-Coins.
It always about the Crypto enthusiast choice, but right now generally Bitcoin has more holders , for now and things are fast changing, even if Bitcoin would still be relevant in the future some Alt-Coins would also be up there.

Honestly speaking i don't think the same, see the strength and the time span in which these other coins have taken over the market Sol has reached in top 5 in just a matter of 10 months, with this much potential in altcoins i am sure there will soon be a time when alts will surpass bitcoin because of their utility, i am sure it won't happen very soon, it might happen after a lot of years but will happen for sure one day.

Your statement is a bit contradictory, you said no alt coin that can replace btc, which is true.

If all other alts coin have succeeded in building a technology superior to bitcoin then i think they should have been ahead by now, but you know why they cant, their applications is still far behind that of bitcoin and bitcoin does not maintain the leading digital currency a because it was first to launch, but it has built technologies and applications far from the reach of other cryptos.

No alt will ever replace bitcoin, not in our lifetime any way. Bitcoin is King Daddy, there’s a reason alts were nicknamed shitcoins.

just like no fiat can replace fiat. bitcoin will be replaced, that is a guarantee. I expect a new system to come after nuclear( dirty nukes and  or thermobaric large scale extinction events) war, and mass genocide of organized crime groups across the globe. when the whole earth realizes one gang has been robbing everyone they are a violent psychopathic organized religious crime group, there can be no other response from humanity but the total extermination of the parasite group

The crypto world perhaps bitcoin is the most unique, is the first created coin, is the most fully decentralized coin on the market. This asserts that bitcoin is an inviolable asset that can only be used by the holder of the key. Unlike bitcoin, today's altcoins are not fully centralized, so security is not as guaranteed as bitcoin.
I really agree with your opinion, the real crypto world is bitcoin, because the first thing that appeared was bitcoin, after a few years of the emergence of bitcoin, then several other coins appeared, such as altcoins, but in fact, although many other coins appeared, they could not match bitcoin, the emergence of other coins is only as a complement, and covers the shortcomings that exist in bitcoin.

because bitcoin isnt some cyberpunk obscure monetary experiment. It was a massively funded, PR campaign backed megalith.  Actual obscure developers quickly find out they get no press campaign, no jewish organized crime funding, and no pass from the crime orgs operating in the us government.

Bitcoin is a big theater stunt, not an actual organic system.   Organic systems dont have pr articles in every "cohen and berg" adverpress rag on earth from day 1

Bitcoin is the best. Is decentralized (others are too), it's open source (the source have been review a million times) works (a bit slow), there is acceptance as money replacement, can order anywhere online, transfers are auto, etc.
Most of altcoins is centralized, not decentralized.
Not sure what does works a bit slow you mentioned above, the development is slow, but the transaction isn't. It's same as other altcoins, depends how much the fees you paid to miners.
Yeah, El Salvador was the one proof where Bitcoin got accepted as legal tender, other coins not yet or perhaps wouldn't.
The other you mentioned isn't only on Bitcoin alone, all altcoins do can transfer online and buy on anywhere.

When i first got bitcoin i was surprised with this new idea, and it was trending, other projects came along like Ethereum but it wasn't the same.

It is because Bitcoin has a huge community compared to Altcoins and of course the adoption around the world. It is also the most popular cryptocurrency to date and crypto is nothing without Bitcoin. Some country even accepted Bitcoin as a valuable asset and can be traded locally.

I don't think that Bitcoin has that bigger community than some popular altcoins. Many of top 10 CMC projects have really big community and I would not be surprised if one of them is even larger than Bitcoin's community. I'd say that the biggest reason why there is no altcoin that can replace Bitcoin is because we are still very early in the crypto adoption. Bitcoin is the king of all crypto and it probably will be the king for quite some time. But that doesn't mean that there won't be some altcoin that will emerge and dethrone Bitcoin one day.

For me when I first heard about cryptocurrency I can't really figured out what this cryptocurrency is, but when I heard bitcoin I easily recognize that it is a digital currency. What I really mean about this is in my own opinion bitcoin represents the whole cryptocurrency platform and that's why it is the most common and dominant crypto in the market. Actually there are many good altcoins too that can we say a good one to invest with but in terms of public popularity bitcoin is the most known crypto..

If equated with a building, bitcoin is a unique building that is 100% complete and nothing new has been done, there has not been any change in bitcoin so it is purely decentralized, even bitcoin founders can't intervene with bitcoin, and the lack of altcoins is constantly being refined so that it makes Developers have control over the coins or tokens they create.

You own the pen
One can make his own upgraded version of bitcoin and continue to promote it and when it is finally recognized and used by the community, he will disappear with no trace leaving his invention free to use as we have with bitcoins right now. But that's not gonna happen since projects nowadays are evolving so fast that for only 1-2 years you need to update or develop the project to adopt the current trend which is kinda hard to do if you decided to hide from the community.

If you can somehow manage to do that, then you have a chance to be in the top 10 in the crypto market and eventually become the first after another 10-20 years.

Because only Bitcoin is decentralized and that, among many other features, makes it unique. People have recognized this over the years, and those who believed that some new crypto king would emerge were not only disappointed, but also lost a lot of money. All these coins you mentioned have nothing (at least for me) superior, but they are trying to be better than Bitcoin with some innovations that most people don't need or don't understand anyway.

To be honest, everyone is looking for something to buy cheap and one day sell for a thousand times the price. This is how the entire altcoins market works.
Decentralization makes bitcoin more unique from the rest of the coins. And while most of the altcoins are centralized, they are also created based on the concept of bitcoin. So they are not made to beat bitcoin, but to follow the path of bitcoin.

However, this perception is only made based on what is seen in the present. There might be an altcoin that will soon to overcome bitcoin in the future, who knows?  But for now, bitcoin will always be the king of the crypto market and the most in demand crypto in the market.

We All Can Make It
Bitcoin has actually been replaced by altcoin in many aspects but bitcoin is still the number crypto based on market capitalisation, before now we have BTC pairs but now there is ETH pair, BNB pair, OKB pairs etc.

And if you regard USDT as altcoin, it has fully replaced BTC as the number traded crypto according to market volume.

Decentralization.

That alone is enough to say why no altcoins can replace Bitcoin. If they want to change something whether its the code or the rules etc., many people must agree to that change that makes it decentralized unlike altcoins where it is being created by a centralized company or a group of people. Most or all of the altcoins are centralized that they can change anything within their project at anytime if they want to.

To my little point of view Bitcoin happened to be the first digital money that is fast, trusted, reliable and transparent used for payment generally and before all other altcoin was introduced and since from the introduction it has remain the king of all coins therefore it influences the rest coin in the market, moreover it gain lot of strength in terms of developments and acceptability many company's pays their employee in BTC as salary while some eateries accept it. Therefore not all shopping mall accept Gold, Steel, Aluminum, Silver but they accept BTC and other well known cryptocoin such as ETH, Doge.. ect

How any altocoins re place bitcoin. Bitcoin is first and successful crypto which has now spread around the world. On the mechanism of bitcoin more coins has come after that. Bitcoin is now most popular and most traded currency. Not any altocoins has the capability to match with Bitcoin. This industry and people around the world always respect btc for a new age of trading experience.
