Because probably theres some assholes making bad publicity about Bitcoin. In my country (Philippines), theres a rumor that Bitcoin is run by the syndicate and believe me people really buy that hoax. I think people scared because they are misinformed. They didnt really knew the whole thing or maybe theyre really dont have time to dig more infos or research about it thats why theyd just believed what other people says about it which I think is wrong. For me, in order for someone to understand this whole crypto world, I think its just safe to say that they need to read some reliable articles and try it themselves.
